As an arrow whore, I'm all about the snipe. Boom, Headshot! indeed.
Not that I'm against a sneak attack, mind you, but especially during the sword trials (no stealth armor) that's not always practical.
[edit] And as an aside, finished the first two levels of said trials. Haven't started on the final level yet due to RL time constraints, given that there's no option to save in the middle of the level.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpChampion's Ballad is out now.
Not now, I think. They covered up that 'now' with a 'tonight'
Smart.
Also, Link on a goddamn motorbike.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI have to decide do I play this on my Master Mode save or my regular save?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So that's why Link was playable in Mario Kart 8! It was training!
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Game of the Year motherfucker
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.It really means something that in an absolutely stacked year for the gaming industry (I forget where I heard it, but I saw a YT video where the creator mentioned that there's basically been a GOTY candidate releasing every month) that this game ultimately came out on top.
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonI was rooting for this game to win, so I am very pleased with the result.
Plus, I get to see Jim Sterling get all salty over it, which is a plus.
Nintendo: Link with Motorcycle mount

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youOkay, I was not expecting the motorbike. Now I need to decide whether to just get the DLC on my Wii U, or to wait until I get the Switch version.
And I can't say I'm surprised that it won GOTY. I mean, I figured it was either going to be that or Odyssey.

Reaction Image Repository...This new shrine I'm playing right now ("Stop to Start") is genuinely not fun. Really hoping it's not indicative of the rest.
EDIT: Ok, the new one on the Southeast of the Great Plateau is alright. At least there's a checkpoint and it doesn't make you use the game's less than precise running controls to get through a death course.
EDIT 2: Pretty strange they decided to begin the new DLC with an extended One-Hit-Point Wonder segment. Most people playing this probably have not played the game in months. You'd think they'd start the DLC with something simple to ease players in rather giving them a very difficult challenge right off the bat. Oh well, I'm enjoying it a lot more now that I got past the Great Plateau's combat/death course-heavy scenarios and am playing through the seemingly more puzzle-focused part of the DLC.

Is anyone having trouble downloading it? My Wii U keeps saying there isn't enough space.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I can't FIND it. I can only get the full game + DLC.
Is the DLC not available for the chip version of the game?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youHave you updated it to the latest version?
I believe so.
Edit: I finally found it, through the "news" section. The link they gave to the store item?
"A Link To The Pass".
Bless you Nintendo

Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youDid anyone else get some type of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 side quest they can't highlight?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Yes they are part of a promo for XB 2, you aren't supposed to highlight them because they are riddles. The pieces of the armor fall from the sky as red shooting stars when you are at the designated places at night.
Playing the DLC right now: You have to rebattle the blights with restricted equipment and then get improved version of the Champion spells with reduced Cooldowns. Neat. Also 4 new orbs for a new heart container.double neat

I can't say that "restricted" thing makes me terribly happy, given how "Start to Finish" has been kicking my ass. I had trouble with them without any limitations beyond what I could hold in my inventory.
I was amused at how they got around trying to cheat the new shrines by quitting the Obliterator quest and trying to enter them as regular shrines, though.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpIs Start to Finish the one with the spikes? Because yeah, that's probably the worst of the four.
Heart of StoneDo these Shrines count toward the Tunic of The Wild?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI misremembered the name (even though it was a handful of posts above mine ), "Stop to Start" was the name, and yes.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpI'd rate them as:
Stop to Start < Test of Strength < Path of Light < Awesome pinball shrine
Heart of StoneOn an unrelated note, courtesy of the Kass song quest we also get a title drop on BotW.
All your safe space are belong to TrumpOkay I just had the easiest non-blessing shrine ever in the new DLC : It is called Fireprotection and is designed around protecting yourself from fire, with the immunity bonus from the fire-protection gear you can just walk straight to the monk
Don't get me wrong, I love a good bout of arson. That said, to me, nothing is more fun than doing my best Solid Snake impression and taking out everyone with backstabs and headshots. Arson is more of a utilitarian fallback plan than anything.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.
