So I've resumed my first play though (I kind of had some RL issues to deal with and left it for a few months). I've defeated Waterblight Ganon and have spent most of my time just exploring everywhere I can-the sheer scale of this Hyrule is honestly the best part of the game for me.
BTW does it matter where I sell goods? Will different people make different offers or will they all give me the same price for the same thing? I want to sell some stuff, but I want to get the best offer I can.

I believe all sell prices are the same, though arrows cost more for you to buy if it's from Beedle. Note that there are a few repeatable quests where you can trade in resources for rupees, and some of those quests have better payouts than the shop default.
Why do all shop vendors stop stocking arrows after I beat Ganon?
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIf you already have a decent supply of arrows the shops will restock slower.
Arrows always confused me in this game. I look at my counter and see that I have over 100 and think "This is enough." Then I look at my counter again and I'm down to 20 and I'm like "Shit, shit, shit, need to get to five stores."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's been two in game months. All shops haven't restocked arrows since the Ganon fight
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youHave you tried a complete restart of the console? I had a bug where I had multiple Blood moons during the day because leaving the console in standby for prolonged time caused some timed events go funky.
I had that happen to me. Every hour on the hour for, like, 9 or 10 in-game hours, I had a blood moon.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I have. No change. It's okay though. I have Amiibos and I know where to go to filch each type of arrow I need
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youWhile all stores pay you the same for items, there are a few characters who will buy certain things at a higher price or trade them for a rarer resource.
- The sculptor at Zora's domain will trade 10 Luminous Stones for a Diamond.
- 10 Luminous Stones sell for more Rupees than a single Diamond, so this is only useful for gathering Diamonds.
- A Gerudo gem collector will buy different kinds of gems at different times. She only buys them in sets of 10 though.
- A higher payoff than selling at a store.
- The stable near the Horse God Spring on the southwest side of Hyrule has a guy who will buy Raw Gourmet Meat at 100 Rupees per steak.
- He will refuse cooked meat. Has to be raw. (Presumably he eats it raw too...)
- An old man at the Gerudo canyon stable will give you a Diamond for... 50 Rushrooms.
- Honestly not worth the time it takes to track down 50. Though the first time counts as a quest, much to the annoyance of completionists.
- In Rito Village you can sell Flints to a Hylian man for increased profit.
- In Rito Village, you can sell Baked Apples to a Hylian woman for an increased profit.
Those are what I can remember for now.
Oh, and once you have Tarrey Town built up enough and manage to get a certain merchant in there, they will sell all kinds of arrows, all in one place.
The Rushroom guy is 55, BTW, not 50. Also, the first time he gives two diamonds IIRC.
Me, I'm now more wondering why bother going to a dealer to sell anything. I have like 50K+ rupees now, so cash most certainly is not a problem for most of what I need to buy (primarily arrows, because I'm an arrow whore ).
And on an unrelated note, when futzing around in the dark woods, I realized that if I need a light but don't have a torch, I can simply open up the Cryonis rune. The glow from the Slate as you hold it up will be enough to light the immediate area, better than with a held torch, a woodpile fire, or one of the bird lanterns. Of course you lose the light when you have to engage a monster, but then you do that when switching from a torch to a weapon as well.
Holding the shield button, if you have Daruk's Protection you also get some light, but not as much as from the Cryonis method, and of course have to keep the button held instead of a single press for the rune. I didn't think to check about the Stasis+ or Magnesis runes as illumination methods, though.

All your safe space are belong to TrumpOne could also hold a Fire Rod for light and swing it to see farther, albeit momentarily.
Also starting fires is a good way to see in the dark.
Arson fixes everything.
In pitch dark areas Stasis+ will let you detect enemies at range
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youJust beat Fireblight Ganon on my first try. I'm happy yet feeling a little disappointed at the same time.
Question: Is it possible to just arrow the Blight Ganons to death? Cause that's basically how I beat Water and Fire. Considering how easy it is to be 1-hit killed I'm totally okay with keeping a distance from enemies while dodging their attacks.

Yeah, arrows are really OP in this game.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeReally, the Blights are pathetically easy. Except Thunderblight. That guy can go eat all the dicks.
I still say that the best two bosses in the game (the only two good bosses, really) are Master Kohga and Calamity Ganon (the last phase being in the running for the best boss in the entire franchise).
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Dude, a single zapshroom skewer and thunderblight literally cannot touch you. Just use magnesis and poke him with one of the metal sticks he summons and he'll be struck by his own lightning
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIt's pretty easy to forget that the lightning resistance buff is a thing, I find.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805The southeastern region also has rubber outfit pieces. Upgrade those and you're immune.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youIronically you get two of the rubber set pieces from doing quests that involve getting struck by lightning. And then you get the Thunder Helmet and it become completely obsolete..
Hearing the ways others describe Thunderblight Ganon make me really glad I did him third, and did a crapload of side quests first. I mean, I found him easy, but I suspect part of that was taking him on with the Master Sword. I found Windblight Ganon more annoying (note: not difficult, annoying. I'm not sure if he's a "Get Back Here!" Boss for everyone or the AI just hit certain triggers more authoritatively).
And yeah, archery in this game is so damn good. I started fighting guardians way earlier than I think was recommended because I got absurdly good at sniping them in the eyes, and once you get good at that, you don't even need to worry about destroying their legs (though it helps if you can also scoot behind something to hide in case you need to dodge a laser).
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Parry their beams. GG.
Got really good at that in Normal Mode.
Master Mode? The fuckers learn.
Beat Windblight. He was trickier then Water or Fire, but in the end arrows won the day once again.
Going on the Korok Seed Hunt so I can expand my inventory. Will try and clear out a few regions before resuming the main quest. I might go pick up the Master Sword while I'm at it.
Before I face Calamity Ganon I'm going to get everything else done for that 100% completion. Wish me luck.

You can't, a sidequest unlocks only after beating him once.
Good point, but still doesn't really excuse the Compendium entry. I'd at least expect something more than "insert same description as every other gold enemy-Get the shit outta there if you see one even though you've probably already killed dozens of silver ones already."
Another possible factor towards the anti-climax was probably the fact that I'd also killed both Thunderblight Ganon and a Silver Lynel within the previous hour, both on my first try.
This whole ordeal lowered my expectations enough for it to take me a full half hour to kill Calamity Ganon. That fight actually becomes pretty damn hard, even after all 4 Divine Beasts. If he goes onto those walls to heal during the second phase, he'll probably end up healing to the point where you effectively have to restart the phase.
And that ordeal raised my expectations far enough to be massively let down (again) by Dark Beast Ganon, which has no changes whatsoever from the original fight. Still dies in the same 8 hits it took in normal mode. I get that it's supposed to be somewhat of a Post-Final Boss, but it still really grinds my gears.
