I'd say you can put in a fair amount. I had to headcanon a lot of stuff for my Skell, as outside of the in-game statistics Xenoblade X seldom tells you exactly how Skells and their weapons work (and the Xenoblade wiki isn't very helpful because a lot of the articles are stubs that lack crucial information. I had to collect all those statistics by hand).
The Danse Macabre CodexHow vital is space capability?
"Yup. That tasted purple."Not vital at all!
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxI will be joining! Time to go back to the time of my youth, to Gundam SEED!
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimI wanted to use my favorite skell, but someone already has one. So I'm thinking an elemenal-powered spelljammer airship, we need some magitech

THE FITNESSGRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTISTAGE AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST THAT PROGRESSIVELY GETS MORE DIFFICULT AS IT CONTINUESMagitech is totally cool, as long as the airship isn't too large.
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxWhat is "too large" for our purposes?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimRight now? Arbitrary at the moment. I don't want to set a concrete size limit.

THE FITNESSGRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTISTAGE AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST THAT PROGRESSIVELY GETS MORE DIFFICULT AS IT CONTINUESWhat's the crew count for this vessel? Cuz honestly it sounds way larger than I'd be comfortable adding in. I guess I can put a size restriction based on that
No signups will be accepted of vehicles requiring more than 6 crew at full compliment.

1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxDo the fire elementals powering the ship count as crew?
THE FITNESSGRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTISTAGE AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST THAT PROGRESSIVELY GETS MORE DIFFICULT AS IT CONTINUESYes
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxAren't they non-sentient though?
The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the groundIt depends on the elemental, but yes, these are non-sentient.
But if they still count as crew, I'm not joining. I'm not putting any more work into the signup.

THE FITNESSGRAM PACER TEST IS A MULTISTAGE AEROBIC CAPACITY TEST THAT PROGRESSIVELY GETS MORE DIFFICULT AS IT CONTINUESIn regards to weapons and other equipment, are we limited to whatever our vehicles have on them, or is there somewhere we can stash additional weapons, munitions, accessories, etc?
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimYou are limited to what you have on you when you first join. Additional equipment will be made available later
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxSweet. Customizable loadouts in the future.
The Danse Macabre CodexVehicle
- Vehicle: ZGMF-1017 GINN
- Type: Mecha - Space/Ground
- Class: Mass Production General-Purpose Mobile Suit
- Franchise: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
- Abilities: None
- Weapons:
- MA-M3 Heavy Sword
- MMI-M 8 A 3 76mm Heavy Assault Machine Gun
- M68 "Pardus" Short-range Guided 3-barrel Missile Launcher
- Speed and relative handling: -Under Construction-
- Armor: -Under Construction-
- Other equipment: 2 thruster-filled "wings" for increased speed. 1 sensor array on its head
Crew
- Vehicle Commander: Joshua Chamberlain
- Rank and occupation GINN Pilot
- Age and other at-a-glance details: 20. Male.
- Appearance: Tall with messy blonde hair. Bright blue eyes behind a pair of frameless glasses. Doesn't like to stand straight, will slouch or lean on something instead.
- Personality: Normally laid back and carefree. He tries to get along with everyone and not let things get at him. His hobbies are sleeping and basketball. When his pride is on the line however, he'll do near anything to prove himself. The only thing well kept about him is his clothes. He has waged a one man war against tidiness since he left the house of his neat freak mother.
- Background:
- Joshua Chamberlain is the son of two genetically altered parents known as Coordinators. Coordinators are altered at the DNA level to give them enhanced physical and mental capabilities (Later is was discovered that successive generations of Coordinators had an alarmingly high chance of sterility. Joshua seriously wonders if the trade-off was worth it), and this altered structure is passed on to their children.
- In the world Joshua lived in, racial tension between the Coordinators and their unaltered brethren, Naturals, eventually exploded into all out war between the rebellious Coordinators on the PLANT space colonies and their Natural led mother countries down on Earth. Under the umbrella of the Earth Alliance, the mother nations set out to subdue the rogue colonies. The PLAN Ts, not eager to return to the control of the discriminatory and oppressive Earth regimes, formed ZAFT, the military wing of their new government and resisted with new weapons; Mobile suits.
- Mobile Suits under normal circumstances were useless because the complexity required to pilot a humanoid robot and be combat effective in any way defied human capabilities. Under Coordinator control however, not only was it possible, they proved vastly superior to the fighter craft that the Natural used, enabling the numerical inferior ZAFT to even the odds.
- A nuclear attack on one of the colones that wiped out all of it's inhabitants resulted in the PLAN Ts invasion of Earth in retaliation. Joshua Chamberlain was already living in the PLAN Ts, having immigrated as a young boy, and joined the cause for independence after the nuke attack. He was part of invasion, Operation Uroboros, and participated in the landing in Oceania, securing the Carpentaria Base, which served as a foothold for ZAFT expansion in that part of the world. Chamberlain and his unit fought onward to Taiwan, where he fought in the Battle of Kaohsiung, securing the critical mass driver for ZAFT.

"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimCurrently looking between three options. The crew will be largely the same regardless of choice.
Pending wi-fi over the Atlantic and relative levels of fatigue, I may or may not have something by the evening.
Stand by.
Proud member of the IAA What's the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?Still lookin' for signups, but no rush. Once we have 8 we can start. Between people who have already submitted, and people who I know are definitely interested, we might juuust have enough, but I can take up to fifteen or so, plenty of room for anyone on the fence.
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a fox...alright I'd like to ask everyone that's considering putting in a signup please do so at soonest convenience. I'm honestly not sure if this idea is dead or just delayed.
On a more positive note, all these space/ground hybrids we're getting is really nice, it'll give you guys a lot of choices at some points as to what you want to do.
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxIn the interest of haste, a question: how much focus will there be on the other crew-members of our vehicles? As it stands right now the only thing holding my signup back is the gunner's weapon systems operator's and the pilot's bits of the sheet.
However much focus you as a player wish to put on them. It's not like they CEASE TO EXIST between missions, but the Mission Control NP Cs will generally only interact with the vehicle commander unless approached
1. With the body of a lion, paws that refreshes, a tail told by an idiot, and the head of a foxVehicle: Thor Gunship
- Type: Aeroplane.
- Class: Gunship.
- Franchise: C&C: Mental Omega (basically Darker and Edgier, not-as-comedic Yuri's Revenge).
- Abilities:
- Weapons: the Thor carries a Mjolnir beacon — that is, a miniaturised weather control device. Its most common use is the creation of lightning bolts out of thin air, usually three bolts every thirty seconds. Its range is fairly limited, as far as airborne munitions go, at one kilometre. The Thor also carries four high-calibre autocannons and two miniguns as backup.
- Speed and relative handling: The Thor's cruising speed is Mach 1, with a maximum speed of Mach 1.4. It handles a bit better than a modern transport aircraft, but not by much, and is capable of VTOL and hovering similarly to a helicopter. It's certainly not designed for dogfights, relying on its Mjolnir beacon and tough armour for self-defence.
- Armour: The Thor is the most armoured mass-produced aircraft of its home continuum, bar none. A heavy emphasis is placed on redundant systems and crew survivability, in a similar vein to the Warthog.
- Other equipment:
-Large speakers. Normally Thor Gunships are authorised to command forces to assume defensive positions, signalled by loud humming.
-Automated, miniature repair drones and a small fabricator: the Thor can repair itself, given time. The rate is too slow to make a difference in a battle, but allows for repairs away from base. The gunship carries enough supplies for the drones to fix it from "barely flying" condition to "fully operating" before needing to resupply.
-Extra communication equipment, as befitting the Thor's status as a command vehicle.
Crew
Commander: Albin Bjornsson
- Rank and occupation: Captain, Thor Gunship commander.
- Age and other at-a-glance details: 34, 190cm-tall Scandinavian human.
- Appearance: Albin is tall, muscular and long-haired, slightly resembling a certain super-hero. While on-duty he wears regular a Swedish pilot suit; on the ground, he usually wears the usual Swedish Air Force uniform.◊ Off-duty he prefers simple shirts and work trousers.
- Personality: Albin is loud, boisterous and a bit fascinated with Myth/Norse Mythology. He's friendly and quick to offer a shared mug of mead to strangers. However, he has a seething hatred of Communists of all kinds, especially Russians, owing to the aggressive wars his universe's USSR fought against the European nations.
- Background: Albin is old enough to remember the second World War, in which he saw the Soviets occupy his hometown of Övertorneå. He was drafted into the Swedish Air Force and chosen for officer training and, afterwards, for Thor captaincy. He performed reasonably well in the tests. However he (and his crew) have no battlefield experience to speak of, as the Soviets did not reach Sweden. Yet.
Pilot: Rikhard Järvinen
- Rank and occupation: Lieutenant, Thor Gunship pilot.
- Age and other at-a-glance details: 29, 177cm-tall Scandinavian human.
- Appearance: Rikhard is pale-skinned, black-hair and slightly hunched. His uniform is identical to his commander's, though off-duty he prefers fancy suits — he's a bit of a dandy.
- Personality: Rikhard is a dandy and a womaniser. He's also very proud of his (admittedly rather good) piloting skills.
- Background: Utterly unremarkable; Rikhard was brought up in a small, nondescript town and was drafted to the Swedish Air Force when he came of age.
Weapons operator: Fredrik Nyström
- Rank and occupation: Second Lieutenant, Thor Gunship weapons operator.
- Age and other at-a-glance details: 27, 165cm-tall Scandinavian human.
- Appearance: Short and slightly rotund. He'd have a beard and long hair, but regulations forbid those.
- Personality: Frederik is not friendly. At all. He'd rather much work in a forge than talk to people. Or shoot things. Shooting's good.
- Background: Also unremarkable, save for being bullied at school.

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground
Doublepost to ask: how much headcanon can I put into this? My main source has a certain dearth of lore I'd like to fill from other sources in the same franchise.
