I am quite interested, but I also have several questions before I make my character.
This sounds interesting.
off the shitsVery interested. Might get to work on a signup soon.
I will join this. Are we going to be pairing up, or do we each make two characters?
Each creates two

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Now with that in mind GM-PC incoming:
Dragoner
- Name: Aicha Al-Samara
- Age: 16
- Gender: F
- Character: All in all a nice person to have around
- Appearance: Like this
- Faction: Sefrein
- Weapon of Choice: A Chain-Claw... basically a Whip Sword formed like a claw
- Talents and Powers:
- Bartering: Due to her upringing as trader Aicha is quite good at bartering.
- Stone Armor: When tapping into Ammon's powers Aicha can form stones around her body that act as armor, due to their magical nature those stones weigh nothing.
- Biography: Aicha stems from a family of nomadic traders from the South, before she became a Dragoner she was aspiring to be a trader herself. She travelled through the desert with her caravan for most of her life. After she became a Dragoner she settled in Sefrein to be able to train, though she hasn't severed the ties with her family and can get most equipment from them.
- Other: Nothing
Dragon
- Name: Ammon Al-Nagi (Amos)
- Age: 1.741
- Gender: M
- Character: Unlike what you would think when you see him quite jovial actually, likes to crack good jokes and will drink you under the table.
- Appearance:
- Human: This nice looking guy here. (Yes, he always has a Cigar in his mouth)
- Dragon: Mostly so.◊
- Elements:
- Stone (Primary): Able to form rocks around his body as armor.
- Water: Able to create fog by using the moisture in the air together with his own.
- Reason for Bonding: Weakened by a fight with another Dragon Ammon was found by Aicha's caravan deep in the desert. Aicha took the Dragon 'under her wings' so to speak, nursing him back to full health, he took the vow shortly afterwards, impressed by the fact that she used no small part of the caravans ressources to help him.
- Biography: Ammon belongs to the 'Patronus Agmen' a species of Dragons mostly found in the desert where they live around oases, more accurately, oases form around them, Ammon is one of the survivors of the Dragonfall. Since his clan remained mostly neutral and fullfilled an important role in the desert they came out of it mostly unscattered. So, after the war he remained in the desert, helping caravans with his dire needed water.
- Other: Nothing

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Also expressing my interest. I'll start thinking of a character soon.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!2nd GM-PC for Greica
Dragoner
- Name: Alyesha Lagunova
- Age: 18
- Gender: F
- Character: She is pretty disciplined, as imagined by the daughter of the capitan of the guard.
- Appearance: Along with her Scythe
- Faction: Greica
- Weapon of Choice: Scythe
- Talents and Powers:
- Plant Command: When tappin into Minerva's powers Alyesha can command plants to do her bidding, mostly using thorny plants as whips.
- Biography: Born as the daughter of the capitan of the guard in Greican Darr Alyesha was raised as a fighter from birth and was thought to be the next capitan of the guard by her peers. During a patrol around the outskirts she met Minerva and subsequently became a Dragoner.
- Other: Nothing
Dragon
- Name: Rajiya Al-Karim (Minerva)
- Age: 19.396
- Gender: F
- Character: Due to her enormous age Minerva now has a different view on the world, she has come to accept many things and currently is driven mostly by curiousity about the Humans.
- Appearance:
- Elements:
- Nature (Primary): Can summon thorny plants out of the ground that entangle and injure her opponent
- Steel: Can animate armors around her to fight for her
- Reason for Bonding: When first meeting Alyesha Minerva challenged her whole squad to try and beat her, to her surprise Alysha stepped in front of her men, telling Minerva that she would fight her one on one. Fascinated by Alyesha's bravery she agreed, being pretty sure of her victory. After a fight that lasted 3 hours she indeed emerged victorious but nonetheless she was more than impressed by the fact that Alyesha managed to hold of her defeat for so long.
- Biography: Minerva started her life as normal dragon, though at some point after the Dragonfall she encountered a Dragoner with a Death Dragon, his attack cursed her, leaving her body to rot, but her will to live did not fade away, and so she continued on to live as a skeleton. Being a Nature-Dragon herself and having accepted the cycle of life she doesn't mind, sometimes Alyesha even has the impression that she enjoys this. After Minerva met Alesha in the outskirts of Greican Darr, she soon became her Dragon.
- Other: Nothing

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Interesting concept, will post my Char sheets soon.
I noticed that you changed Chaijan's description to remind that they do in fact have a Dragoner army, just an extremely small one, and that they are Out of Bounds "ATM", so is it okay if I reserve a spot to later join when Chaijan is playable?

Finally got this ready.
Dragoner
Name: Adran of Silver City
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Character: Adran seems like the quiet, intelligent sort when one would first meet him. However, given a little bit of time, one might find that underneath his more calm exterior one might find that he is quick of wit and easily amused by his own jokes.
Note: There is often a distinct difference in how Adran presents himself when speaking with Eos as opposed to when he speaks with others. He seems to go out of his way to be polite and courteous.
Appearance: Adran is somewhat tall (around 5'11") and of a somewhat thin build for his height (around 135 lbs). His face is angular and his nose what some might consider "hawk-like", and his typical facial expressions range from neutral to confident or cocky. His hair is shaggy, dirty blonde in color, and comes down to just above his shoulders. His eyes are a light blue that borders on steel.
Adran prefers speed to pure strength when it comes to combat, and dresses accordingly - light leather armor with a light chain mail shirt beneath it to fill in the gaps. The armor itself is dark colored and made in several removable and interchangeable parts. Beneath all this he wears simple clothing - cloth shirt, cloth pants (the latter of which is covered by thickened leather leggings), a pair of boots with steel toes, and a belt with several pouches for various purposes (including implements for...less than reputable activities.) Over all of this he wears a black cloak to match Eos more closely (though he couldn't tell you why he feels this is necessary.)
Though his face is largely unmarked by scarring or blemishes, Adran has a particularly nasty scar going from his right shoulder and down in a jagged diagonal line across part of his throat and chest.
Faction: The Kingdom of Sefrein
Weapon of Choice:
Talents and Powers: I added Powers so that I can add some of what he can do with his Dragon abilities.
[[indent:20:Quick Wit, Quick Tongue: Adran is clever and quick to speak when he needs to. The term "Silver Tongue" also comes to mind.]]
Biography: Adran was born to a poor family in Silver City, a moderately sized metropolis of the Kingdom of Sefrein By the age of 5 they had both perished, one due to illness and the other due to a shadowy deal gone wrong. This rendered the child an orphan, who was quickly scooped up and adopted by one of the teeming gangs of street urchins in the slums. They taught him to fight, how to stay silent, and how to observe everything carefully before taking any actions. “Measure up your mark twice, strike once” was one of their mottos. By the age of 15 he was working small jobs on his own – the kinds of jobs that require a stealthy approach where one got in and got out without anyone being any the wiser. One particular job echoed the death of one of his parents, and would have indeed been his end. After being caught by the particular person he was trying to steal something precious from, he was struck in the right shoulder and down his neck and check by a vicious and vengeful blade and left to bleed out in an alleyway.
Were it not for the timely rescue of Eosonofex, a Dragon in the guise of a young woman, he wouldn't have made it. However, by performing the ritual to bond the two of them, she was able to heal some of his wounds and treat what she couldn't. From that point onward, the two would become partners, she viewing him as escort and bodyguard (though she doesn't really need one) and he viewing her as his savior and superior. As a plus, thanks to her interference, Adran was accepted as one of the elite warriors known as the Dragoner's, or Dragon Knights. He would be trained under the tutelage of the Captain of the Guard of Silver City, and would eventually leave their care as Freelancer, taking jobs that might require his particular brand of expertise.
Of note, Adran and Eos have taken on numerous guard details for important dignitaries, one or two heists for a particular, less than legal Guild, and exactly one assassination mission by a group that call themselves “The Heart of the People.” Though willfully taking a life rubs Adran the wrong way, Eos has convinced him that life and death are natural, and that this particular job will likely save hundreds more, should he succeed. It is this mission that brings them to their present location, though they aren't exactly sure where to begin.
Other: Adran is meant to be of somewhat mixed morality, which I hope to direct with Eos' influence.
Dragon
Name: Eosonofex (Eos)
Age: 4203 years
Gender: Female
Character: Eos, at first glance, may come off as somewhat aloof or uncaring, or perhaps as someone who might think they are superior to others. And, in a sense, that's not entirely wrong. Thus is the way with many dragons – after a certain point in their lives, they start to view the world differently. Almost through a lens, if you will. Eos suffers from this same point of view. In particular, she sees the hurry of men to be somewhat silly, and maintains that life – and death – are a continual cycle of regeneration and decay. This is exemplified by her elemental traits of Nature and Death.
However, beneath this, Eos has shown herself to be compassionate for the downtrodden (bonding with Adran was no small gesture), kind, and confident. She may also come off as flirtatious to some, and for good reason – while she views life as an outsider to some extent, she is still fascinated by certain aspects of it, and the particular aspect being referred to here is no exception (and in fact, may be one of her favorite). Additionally, though she seems confident, this is only because she is aware of her power and what she is capable of. She treats many and perhaps even most with fairness, and those she does not do so with are simply those that she cannot be bothered with. This is not an act of malice, even though to some it might come off as such.
Eos is also somewhat quick to anger, even in terms of a dragon. This could come in the form of something truly rage worthy, or perhaps just someone rubbing her the wrong way, and everything in between. Adran is often capable of keeping her from losing her cool completely, but not always. And this one doesn't think he needs to extrapolate as to what might happen when a dragon has lost her cool.
Appearance:
Weapon of Choice: I added this for her because she isn't picky about fighting as a human.
Elements and Powers:
Reason for Bond: Eos first met Adran as a young man dying in an alleyway. While at any other moment she might have felt that this was simply the cycle of life and death, during this particular instant she took pause. There was something in this one, she might have thought. Something that yearned for a greater purpose. For a change in the cycle perhaps. She was not one to say, but nevertheless she took it upon herself to heal his wounds and, when her power alone wasn't enough, she deigned to take the vow and make the bond, pledging herself to him as her Master. Or, perhaps more appropriately, as her partner.
Biography: Eosonofex has always been one better suited to cities and their kind than the ranges of her old home. Her particular species holds the common name of Cycle Bearers, though this is not quite what they are in their own tongue. Her kind typically tend to live where there is an abundance of both life and death – regeneration and decay that fuels their power. Eos, however, has found that the same confluence of energies gathers in cities, and so this is where she lives, though only for the last hundred years or so.
When she found Adran, she took the vow to save his life, and the two became a Dragoner and Dragon pair, and they now work as Freelancers when not answering the call from the Dragoner HQ or their own nation. Their current mission is to assassinate a high profile target for a group called “The Heart of the People,” which overall seems like a simple enough job for the time being, even if they aren't sure where to start.
Other: The idea with Eos is that I want to kind of flip the Master / Servant idea here on it's head. Both in that thy both know that in this particular relationship she is the one that wears the (figurative) pants and that, due to this bond, the two have a mutual need for the other (as I assume the bond is something that might have terrible consequences if broken by, say, a premature death.)
Hey! Is this still taking characters? If so, I have a character concept I'd like to submit.
Quick question, though: Despite playing a lot of tabletop rpgs, some of which were freeform like this, I've never played a forum rpg before. Is that ok?
Yes, still open, probably will also leave it open after the game started
Of course it is, everyone has to start ast some point :)

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Here's my character sheet.
Dragoner
Name: Sharyi Ithigos
Age: 17
Gender: F
Character: Sharyi is upbeat and generally cheery, trying her best to keep a postivie outlook on things. She has a flair for the dramatic and takes her performace seriously. When upset, Sharyi is more likely to go off and sulk than fly into a screaming rage.
Appearance: Sharyi is of average height and build. Her shoulder lengh brown hair spill out from beneath a common farmer's hat. She wears light padded leather armor over a noble's tunic.
Faction: Sefrein
Weapon of Choice: A high quality but nevertheless mundane shortsword, and a small wooden buckler. One day these shall be revered as weapons of legend. For now, they're just reliable equipment.
Talents and Powers:
Inspiring Song: Playing a rousing melody on her violin, Sharyi grants all allies in earshot a significant boost to speed and attack power.
Entrancing Tale: Sharyi recounts a chapter of her epic poem. This can keep a group of people entertained (and distracted) for hours on end, or strike fear into their hearts.
Run Like The Wind: Tapping into Targyon's power, Sharyi increases her movement speed and reflexes greatly. She also gains the ability to jump 20 feet and control her fall speed.
Biography: Sharyi is the fourth daughter of a wealthy noble family. Knowing that she was unlikley to inherit any power, she spend her days reading books in the library, going on short trips into the surrounding countryside, and listening to bards and peasants alike as they recounted tales of times gone by. Eventually, she began climbing a tall mountain outside her city. Every day, she would reach the summit and recount a chapter of her epic poem. This mountain was the lair of the wind dragon Targyon. Gradually, the two became aware of each other. One day, Sharyi climbed to the top of the mountain and found Taryon waiting for her, but the poem was over. She had no more stories to tell. Targyon agreed to bond with her, and the two set out to make their own stories.
Dragon
Name: Targyon
Age: 8,652
Gender: M
Character: Targyon is quiet and reserved. When uncomfortable, he becomes twitchy and evasive.
Appearance:
Human: Targyon's human shape is that of a middle-aged man with a fluffy white beard and icy blue eyes. He wears a parka-like blue robe.
Dragon: Targyon's dragon shape is a bluish white. It is long and mauverable, with long, clawed arms and a feathered tail and wings.
Elements:
Air; Razor Boost: A cone of razor sharp wind surrounds Targyon, shielding him from harm and increasing his speed. This cone of wind can later be broken and flung at an enemy, resulting in a gale of wind-blades.
Reason for Bonding: Targyon was spellbound by Sharyi's epic poem. He shares her goal of becoming a figure of legend.

Can I reserve until Chaijan is available?
Accepted, seems we got ourselfes a bard, nice
Still thinking, note though that depending on the players this can take a while. Also let me be perfectly honest, I saw your SU's in other RP's and nearly all of them were kinda overly antagonistic Mind Rape-y or/and Brown Note kind of characters, I'm more than willing to give you the benefit of the doubt for this, though note that I won't allow such a character.
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Yeah, don't worry. Another RP was willing to fulfill my Eldritch Abomination obsession
Oh also Sketch I forgot to say this in my last post, while some Dragons are weak of mind most can't just be charmed like this, so I'm going to assume 'spellbound' in this case was meant like 'found it so incredibly good' instead was 'was charmed by'
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Yeah, I meant "inspired by" rather than "compelled" (sorry weird wording)
Dragoner
Name: Yusef Khoros
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Character: Boisterous in nature, Yusef is an upbeat, friendly person, albeit rowdy and hot-tempered at times. When on a mission or in battle, he acts calmer and more serious. Although slightly lacking in book smarts, Yusef has a keen eye for details. He is also a person who puts his all into the task at hand, be it smithing or fighting.
Appearance: This is what Yusef looks like.◊ Is of above average height and powerfully built. His outfit consists of light metal armor over a dark shirt and a sturdy pair of pants and boots. He also wears a pair of leather work gloves.
Faction: Greica
Weapon of Choice: A large warhammer.
Talents and Powers:
- Weapon smith: Apart from being able to repair and craft weapons and armour, Yusef is also able to inspect a weapon or piece of armour and obtain some information about it (what it is made of, where did it come from, how well it is maintained etc.).
- Strength: Thanks to a lifetime of labouring in the forge and hauling ores, Yusef boasts a significant amount of strength, and is able to wield his hammer with ease.
- Fire control: Tapping into Hassan’s power grants Yusef the ability to conjure fireballs and bolts of flame, as well as a resistance to heat and fire. Yusuf can also ignite his hammer to deal additional damage to enemies.
Biography: Born into a family of blacksmiths that have been serving the Greican military for generations and the eldest of five siblings, Yusef grew up among soldiers, spending his days either making and repairing equipment in the forges of Grecian Darr, or making a trip to Flyvons Ridge to gather ores for his work. It was on one of these excursions that Yusef discovered an ore-rich cavern and its resident, Hassan Al-Tazim. Hassan agreed to let the young man to mine ores in the cavern on the condition that he forged a weapon for him. Yusef agreed, and returned several days later with a spear that he presented to Hassan. Satisfied with the quality of the weapon and that the deal was upheld, the fire dragon offered to make the Vow with Yusef.
Other:
- Yusef's body temperature is slightly higher than normal, possibly due to his bond with a fire dragon.
- Cats seem to take a liking to Yusef, and tend to act quite docile around him.
Dragon
Name: Hassan Al-Tazim (Hector)
Age: 5,284
Gender: Male
Character: Hassan is a coolheaded individual, if somewhat snarky. He's a bit more relaxed when around friends and acquaintances.
Appearance:
Element:
- Fire: Able envelop his own body in fire as a close-quarters defense and bend fire into shapes such as arrows, blades and spears.
- Hassan also has the ability to breathe a wave of pure heat without flame, which appears as a distorted ripple moving through the air.
Reason for Bonding: Yusef's honesty and dedication to his work earned Hassan's respect: Yusef never told Hassan where he was from, so Hassan wouldn't know where to find him if he did skip out on the deal. But despite this, he took the time to forge a proper weapon and deliver it.
Other: In human form, Hassan is skilled in fighting with a spear.
edited 20th May '16 8:32:04 AM by svenorzokarkoff
Accepted, although normally I had to say that there was one power per element, though since enveloping body in flames and forming weapons out of fire can be generalized to 'can shape flames' anyway I'm loosening up a bit on this.
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"I'm interested. I already have some character concepts sprouting in my mind. I'll try to have them ready and posted before the weekend ends.
“Seek freedom and become captive of your desires. Seek discipline and find your liberty.” ― Frank Herbert, Chapterhouse: DuneBy the way, what do you mean by Chaijan having "Superior Technology"?
Are they Shizo Tech, Steampunk, or just a bit more advanced with primitive gunpowder or something?
The latter, I'd say that for others an early musket is a very good new weapon, not really secret prototype stuff but at least sufficiently advanced to not just give it to every soldier. Chaijan on the other hand is already researching something similar to smokeless Gunpowder - IRL that got invented in the 2nd half of the 19th century, here a bit earlier.
All in all I'd say the gap between them is ~50 years - give or take a decade - which is migitated by the fact that they don't have nearly as many dragons, after all, they might have much better rifles... but those still can't do sh*t against a dragon coming from above and breathing fire at their lines, after all the Dragons not only have tremendous power but also a devastating impact on the morale of every enemy they fight, think of the Panzerschock in WWI only more.
Hence Chaijan currently trains a dedicated anti Dragoner Corps, trained in holding their lines even in the face of an assault by a Dragoner.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"
So this idea brewed in my head for quite a while now, this RP is based on the players being Dragoners. Focus will lie mainly on interactions between players and the occasional (a little bit more than 'occasional' actually) fight
History
Age of Dragons
In the far past, Dragons ruled the world, with Humans being little more than cattle for them. There were nations, but they were locked in an eternal conflict - fueled by the Dragons to keep them powerless. That was until the great hero 'Lorgan McFife the XIV' managed to rally the central nations under 'The Alliance of the Seven Plains'. United they rose up against their Dragon rulers, what began as a local uprising soon turned into a full out war spanning the entire continent as more and more nations joined the cause. The Dragons were completely taken off guard by this development and soon faced a threat to their very existence.
Desperately fighting for survival the Dragons managed to push the Humans back at some point, but their triumph should not last long. The Humans gained more and more control over the continent until the Dragons finally were forced to chose between standing down or facing complete annihilation. The final decisive battle is known as 'Dragonfall' and lies exactly 1539 in the past.
Age of Conquest
This age, which lasted for around 1000 years beginning with the Dragonfall saw a rapid rise in technology. But it was not a peaceful age, now not longer facing a common enemy the 'Alliance of the Seven Plains' soon dissolved with the former Brothers in Arms fighting over the control of the continent. In the end no-one could establish control over the continent and there was a time of relative peace.
Age of Blood
Then, around 500 years in the past the currently major power Greica arose, shortly followed by Sefrein and Chaijan. But as it seems normal for humans these three got locked in another, seemingly eternal war. This conflict should last for over 100 years, spanning generations. 386 years in the past the 'Treaty of the Ohisp Expanse' finally ended this bloodshed, marking an end to the 'Age of Blood'. While exact numbers are unknown historians today estimate that around 34% of the population perished in this war.
Age of Power
After these events there was peace for a while, with the three major powers licking their wounds, it was in this time that Humans discovered the Vow. But alas, the fragile peace should not last long. Soon after the new war erupted it became painfully clear that the time of massive infantry assaults was over, with the then still young Dragoner-Force mostly consisting of voluntaries completely annihilating whole regiments on their own.
Governments on all sides were quick to realize the nearly limitless potential of Dragoners and in seemingly no time all major powers had their own organized Dragoner Force. Most wars today are fought and won by this select elite; The 'Dragoners'
Dragoner
What or rather who are Dragoners exactly you ask? Dragoners are also known as Dragon Knights - that is, they managed to earn the trust and respect of a Dragon somehow, be it defeating them in a fight, saving them from death, completing a seemingly impossible task, anything that the Dragon in question deems worthy really. Said Dragon has accepted the Dragoner as their Master and will fight by their side. To signify this they undertake The Vow, binding them to their human partner, through this those Humans gain the ability to tap into the powers of their Dragon. Some families are known as Dragoners since generations, with every child going on a journey to find their own Dragon to bind with.
Dragons
Most dragons have a human form they take on while conversing with other humans, though nearly none will use this while fighting (although there have been reports of those who do). Due to their immense size and powers they are the dominating force even while fighting alone. A Dragon fighting together with a trained Dragoner is said to be worth 10.000 soldiers on the battlefield (an exaggeration, but nonetheless nobody would deny that Dragoners together with their partners are the driving force on the battlefield nowadays)
Dragons can belong to either 1 or 2 Elements, those belonging to 1 being called 'Pure' while the rest is called 'Hybrid'. Every Dragon has one special power per element, hence 'Hybrid' Dragons are more versatile than 'Pure' Dragons but in turn they could not master their powers to such perfection as a 'Pure' Dragon has, as such their powers are smaller then those of a 'Pure'.
The Vow
The Vow is a sacred ritual, binding a Dragon to their new Master. By doing this the souls of the two are bound together, allowing both to tap into the powers of the other, although considering the amounts of power Dragons and Humans have in practice that only goes for the Human as his power is just insignificant for the Dragon. Additionally that bound shares the life-force between the two partners, allowing humans to live far longer than normal. This bound normally can't be undone by any means, although the souls in theory can still be feazed, should a soul fade away when for example one partner dies the other will be unbound.
In practice, should the Dragon die in most cases dooms the Human Master too, due to the fact that they will lose the extended lifespan the Dragon gave him. Dragons on the other hand will barely notice the missing power should the Human die, indeed there have been Dragons making the Vow for generations for a family of Dragoners.
To give an easier to understand picture of the vow, imagine the soul as a string of yarn, and the vow as something entangling two of them, should one try to undo it by pulling them apart the yarn will only entangle even more, or even rip apart if one would try too hard. But if someone dies, their soul will just fade away from existence. So one of the strings would in this case just cease to exist, freeing the other one again.
Elements
While Hybrids belong to two elements they still have a primary element, determining their passive ability.
Mayor Powers
The Republic of Greica
No matter the status of your parents, wealth etc. in the Republic everything that counts is your talent in fighting, be you a prince or son of farmers, if you can fight you may proceed through the ranks. Everything else is secondary. Indeed even their cities are more fortress than city with multiple high walls surrounding them... they are appropiatly called 'Castle Cities'. Its Capital is the Castle City Greican Darr were the Dragoner Headquarters is located, although most Castle Cities have a small outpost manned by one or in case of bigger Castle Cities even two Dragoners.
The Kingdom of Sefrein
In Sefrein most Dragoners are of noble birth, that doesn't mean there aren't any exceptions and alone the fact that you became a Dragoner in the first place will secure your family a good position and more or less make you a noble.
The Federation Chaijan
Currently Chaijan only possesses a small Dragoner-army, instead it relies on superior technology and diplomacy. Its capital is located deep inside a mountain and currently is the single largest underground city.
Minor Powers
The Raihaan Sultanate
Located deep in the South this nation is mostly covered in deserts, most inhabitants are nomadic merchants, the rest are concentrated in a few cities. The Sultanate has no Dragoner-Force to speak of and relies on its alliance with Sefrein to keep what little power it has.
The Republic of Falstad
Located in the North of the continent Falstad is covered in snowy forests. The Government remains in a de-facto alliance with Greica. Most inhabitants are scattered throughout the republic, living in small villages in the forest.
Other Locations of Interest
Flyvons Ridge
A mountainous region cramped between Greica and Sefrein, both nations maintain that they have valid claims on the ore-rich lands, which has sparked countless conflicts in the past centuries. Both nations maintain a strong military presence there and many Dragoners are deployed in this area. Even in these days of relative peace there are numerous small skirmishes between Greica and Sefrein.
Ohisp Expanse
A barren wasteland symbolizing the horrors of the 'Age of Blood' but on the same time a symbol of peace, it was the place where the single largest battle in recorded Human history took place. The giant fight has left the once green region as little more than the shell of its former self, it is riddled with craters and even today one can find armors and weapons, the cadavers of their past owners long rotten away. Yet it was on this wasteland that the Treaty that ended the war and effectively marked the end of the 'Age of Blood' was signed.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"
