112 wicks, 274 inbounds...not that great, but I think we need more research before making a case for this.
You make a good point that the X Men comic/movie doesn't even use the trope. But the name isn't bad on its own, overlapping with a work isn't enough to change it just yet. Sure, the name is slightly unclear at first, but it does work with the definition.
I am curious how the trope itself differs from Schizo Tech. Both can apply to a setting or a society. Not trying to derail the thread, just curious.
Schizo Tech applies when technology levels seem to not correspond with the setting. This trope is where a setting explicitly has more advanced technology that the present day, but features a society that is either feudal or lawless. Respectively, it's a supertrope to Feudal Future and Space Western. Though it's not necessarily a needed one, though.
I do not see how this trope is really needed in its current form, the sections are already covered by other tropes and the 'other' section is a mess of not really examples of this, just Themed Classical Architecture Used In The Future like ARIA example or Nuked Back To The Stone Age type situations in which the technology regression is explained like the Turn A Gundam example.
Renaming and converting into just an index of those tropes would be my suggestion.

I don't like it is not a reason to rename. Locking this.

I think that this trope should be renamed. As we don't name tropes after characters anymore, we shouldn't name tropes after whole works either. "Days of future past" was a nice title to borrow when it was just an old 1980s comic book, but nowadays anyone reading it will think about X Men Daysof Future Past, which does not use this trope.
