Just a Face and a Caption: Used To Be A Sweet Child

Particularly the second image. It relies heavily on the caption to get to the point, and as a pic itself, it just goes on as "guy with heavy gothic fashion and weird eye contacts". Nothing about him screams creepy unless it's a stereotype.

The first one is fine, they should find a proper one on the second one, otherwise I have a suggestion.

The second pic is a smidge dark on my screen, but otherwise, yeah, big improvement.

I agree. Is there a brighter version for that second pic?

I don't mind the current, but the suggestion is an improvement; I agree that the second image could stand to be brightened up a bit.

I struggle to make the visual connection between the character in left and right pic because the face is not showing in left and the fur texture is different in right. What about any of these compositions?

The new pic is actually weaker in showing the "sweetness" aspect of the character. That's just a kid making a funny face.

I actually picked that part because it featured Shifu, but yeah I can see how people can't see that due to the angle and kinda zoomed out look.

That pic itself is taken from the movie itself, but I guess I can fix it. So I just have to brighten it then?

The bottom half of 6 is bright enough, regardless of which pic we use for the comparison.

Either in 6 is good.

He may be getting overexposed, but he's enough of a well known example... any shots of Anakin Skywalker demonstrating the "sweet kid" part?

I wouldn't use another Anakin image, considering he's already on From Nobody to Nightmare and A Pupil of Mine Until He Turned to Evil.

I'd argue these aren't spoilers (it's part of Tai Lung's background), and I feel like this is as "spoiler-y" as the original pic.

Also it'd be great without caption. Because I feel the pics alone express the intent.

How come you don't see the connection? It's Tai Lung as a cub and as an adult, juxtaposed on his relationship with his master. You don't need to know the facts even, as the pictures already show that he was a sweet kid who became something terrible. I'd even talk about the color composition but that's for another topic :P
