Opened.
Eh, I like it. Sure, if you take it literally, it's just David Tennant about to stab Patrick Stewart, but with just a little bit of pop culture osmosis, It's the ninth Doctor about to stab Cpt. Picard. Although I wasn't aware Doctor Who and Star Trek: The Next Generation had an active rivalry, it's basically how rival fanbases act toward one another (well, figuratively - hopefully not literally).
As far as clearer-but-less-witty depictions of the trope go, I'm not really a huge fan of the specific image suggested, though the concept of Trek vs. Wars has merit.

Moon◊I don't think a 'shopped picture of the Doctor killing Picard is that illustrative. And I also didn't know both series had a fandom rivalry (especially since The Next Generation is much older than the revival of Doctor Who).
How about something that actually shows the conflict◊?

From an old favorite of mine:
To be clear, I'm still voting Keep Until Better Image Suggested, but here are a few suggestions, just in case.

Moon◊It may not be shopped, but it sure as hell looks like it.
Pull current, as it's not very indicative that it's supposed to be Star Trek vs. Doctor Who. The suggestion above is way more obvious, though I have reservations on it due to picture quality.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?4 seems viable.

''“You want a planet? I’ll give you a planet! Heck, I’ll give you your own solar system! No, I’ll give you a house... in Boca Raton!Seems decent enough.
The current would've worked a whole lot better if they were actually portraying the respective characters.
Check out my fanfiction!4/10.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I mean...it is by all objective standard good image, in that it fits necessary criteria.
But man, it looks weak as hell to me. I haven't watched a single episode of either series, but know them just enough to recognize them, so it's probably biased.

Didn't see 4/10 earlier,
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Yeah, I think I like 10.
4/10 is definitely more clear than the current.
I'm reverting that. I counted exactly one person who said, unequivocably, "pull", and we need around seven to actually do so. Did see a few that count be interpreted as "pull" (including yourself in the OP), but even then, not seven.
Not like we're not about to replace the image anyway, but still, policies!
EDIT: Actually, screw it, just putting the suggestion up, because that has consensus.
EDIT 2: There, that's done. A little concerned that both the page quote and page image are now from the same scene, though.

Moon◊I'd say just move the quote to the caption and call it good.
Sounds like a plan.
Works for me.

The image looks like a remake of Hamlet and relies on a caption for the "Fandom Rivalry" part. And even then, it doesn't even illustrate it that well.
I'll get the suggestion ball rolling. Star Trek vs. Star Wars◊.
