"I will help myself then" - said the warrior, while biting what appears to be a patty. It looked a lot like one, at least. Feeling hungry, he took a generous bite and chewed a bit. Suddenly, an utter sense of wrongness assaulted his taste buds, making him swallow on the reflex.
"Well, I tasted worse at the army. Just... Don't smell, taste or chew, and you are going to be fine" - he said. putting the cursed dish back at its place: all traces of hunger dissapeared.
"I heard people often say money over flowers, but those are some screwed priorities, girl" - added Guan after the dwarf's proclamation. "I can understand this, though"
"The food is awful I know. But with how many martial laws are in effect it's not too surprising, the owner could not get any proper food," Derge said standing up.
"Tomorrow morning we make our move. Down through the sewers into the old metro and then out. Any questions?"

It was still dark outside, well technically it was always dark down here in Section 7, the Sun is blocked out by the upper plates of Eternum. But it was morning, around 3am in the morning.
Derge had stepped out and set about waking everyone up, B7 having a built in alarm system, and B7 opted to choose the most obnoxious songs to play to motivate people into waking up.
Down they went through the back door and into the old subway system, broken trains lay scattered, a few people living among them, some wearing body armor with scavenged guns speaking with heavy accents in a language that Derge couldn't understand.

Opting to ignore them, the group progresses further and Derge asks "Alright, we are about to begin, everyone ready? Any questions?"

The Sunset Shadow, far more optimistic and raring to go than any normal individual would be in the given circumstances, had kept his glove-equipped arms folded against his torso whilst the party moved towards their destination. 'Twas a shame to see some fail to follow, but the Shade held no ill will against them- the path of an activist for justice was not meant for all persons to walk, he reassured himself. But still...
"I must say, the citizens of this area..." the caped crusader remarked with a weakened tone, his eyes following the runespeakers of the subway with a concerned slant. "... they seem far more ready for battle than any citizen should have to deal with. Do the random encounters tax their lives this often...?"
The guy busy worrying about the local people who, to her, looked like a pretty decent, if rather stupid bunch, was getting on her nerves.
"Who cares? What they do is their business, random encounters or whatever. We should just get finished with the quest so we can get out of this dump. I'm going to get my suede shoes all filthy."
She instinctively shook her feet to get rid of the dust and muck on her shoes.
"In other words, leave local business to the locals."

"The most we might find down here in this old train line are a few dire rats and maybe a crazed civilian," Derge noted.
"The likelihood of finding a Slime or a Metal Slime is low, quite low," B7 added walking forward.
"Alright! More food! Y'know, I'm not sure if it is my hunger, but this inn's food is actually A-OK to me. Honest." commented the young mage as he picked his third burger. Well, it's very likely that it really was his hunger, because the rest of the table surely didn't share his enthusiasm for the inn's "low-cost cuisine".
