Opened.
Takao◊ from Arpeggio of Blue Steel. Technically one of those watergoing ships and not a space ship, but those seem to be included in the trope, as the focus is on the character and not exact type of vessel. And technically the other two girls also qualify (but that's not apparent in the pic). Scene's kinda big (not my source image), so I had to crop it a lot.
Check out my fanfiction! That one has the clearest link between the ship and the female representation so far.
Yeah, I think that works pretty well.
+1 for 3.
3 will do.
(Annoyed grunt)Bump. Other thoughts or suggestions?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Well if we go with 3 I think the description needs a rewrite to include things not spaceships like Naval vessels, Humongous Mecha like Zone Of The Enders' ADA, Aircraft and so on.
All the examples I can think of are there currently just the description doesn't cover that.

Do we need TRS for that? I think the only real difference is that it's this trope, but NOT in space. The actual trope is about the personification, with or without a physical manifestation, of a large vessel people travel in. The trope even says it comes from traditional ships, and that it's that personification that's taken to the logical extreme.
I think the main reason it's written for space ships is the technology required. Spaceship Girl is usually some kind of AI or other technological being, which is sci fi, and when you think large vessels in sci fi, you think space ships.
Check out my fanfiction! No rewrite necessary in my opinion.
The Arpeggio one doesn't really work for me. Maybe it's because I'm not familiar with the series, but there's a lot going on in that picture, and there's not really context for it. Who I'm assuming is the intended Spaceship Girl in that picture looks like they could easily just be someone standing behind some sort of glass on the bridge. It really just looks like a bunch of people standing around with random technology around them.
I honestly prefer the first Andromeda one because while it doesn't give you a lot of context either, it has focus.
Does anyone have any other suggestions, or shall we proceed to crowner?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Go with the crowner, if you think it'll help.
(Annoyed grunt)And hooked, thanks.
Votes bump; only one option in the green right now.
The leader's still the only one in the green and has a commanding lead, so I think this one's safe to call. Can someone please do the honors? Thanks in advance.
Caption?
EDIT: The other options are on an Image Links page.

Done.
Nothing comes to mind for caption. "Be careful not to hurt the Tsundere Heavy Cruiser's feelings," maybe.
Check out my fanfiction! Some kind of play on Bridge Bunnies seems apropos but I haven't got any ideas right now.
Some reference to vorpal bridge bunnies?
(Annoyed grunt)No consensus on a caption; locking up.
