Less confusing...? He was called Mecha Sonic originally because that's the sprite he was using. He now has a "new" name because the design is different.

I don't have the time right now for watching the reboot again, was he named there ? And how ?

Also, to clarify : I didn't like this episode. Sorry, but once again, with all the buildup around Mecha Sonic in the original series, you were expecting his downfall to be particularly epic. As in, it would take a lot of work for the heroes for even reaching his power level and finally defeat him in one last titanic battle. Him being so unceremoniously defeated (not even by the heroes, at that) feels really anticlimactic. As if Return of the Jedi ended with Han Solo shooting Darth Vader in the back. The fight itself was well done, but I would have preferred either a different outcome, or a different subject altogether.

The characters didn't name-drop him yet.

How what? How was he named? The name Metallix comes from the Fleetway Sonic The Comic...it was his name there when stuff happened and he became a separate villain from Eggman.

I'd love to see Sophitia Alexandra as a fighter here.

She's one of my favorite characters in video games and I'm surprised she hasn't been considered. Maybe she will since Death Battle used Nightmare?

I'd love to see her in the SC 4 attire fighting an opponent and sending them off with her Critical Finish.

It's kind of It Was His Sled.

Plus it was sort of ribbed from the Expanded Universe which we were told was no longer canon - because it was canon to the dear fans of the series.

And anyway, you only know that Han missed a perfectly solid opportunity to shoot him in the back. To be fair, so did Poe, but that was due to Kylo Ren being a BAMF for all of Act 1.

I'd like to see Genji vs. Zer 0

Because Battleborn isn't successful.

I do appreciate One Minute Melee is more willing and likely to do battles featuring more obscure characters like Burai Yamamoto, Kim, Sakuya Izayoi, and Orie.

Coincidentally or not, all four I named won their fights.

I like Mikasa, and maybe she'll last longer than most, but there's no way she can win this. Peter's been the undisputed King of Swing for years, and that ain't changing any time soon.

If this were Death Battle I'd agree, but in the case of DBX and OMM, I'm pretty sure the fights are decided by the flip of a coin.

I'm not stupid. I know what Spider Man is capable of.

Even if she doesn't win I am happy they used her. I just want to see her kick ass and get more recognition because she's still a fantastic character even if she loses.

I was overjoyed when they used Bayonetta and Yang Xiao Long, another two favorites of mine even if one of them lost.

... Am I missing something? Where did you guys get access to a list of names that has Mikasa in it?
