But for real, Jasper has been through enough with Malachite, probably being on the wrong side of her Homeworld and possibly being cracked. She does NOT need the full Humiliation Conga package.

Right, she fell in a hole...like, she headbutted a kid she thought was 17000 years old in the face and called people names, we get it, but just like maybe give the gem a little break?

It can't happen because of the "Steven's perspective" rule, but it'd be really cool if for Jasper's corruption we had an episode where it was just Jasper wandering around on her own, slowly losing her mind as she starts to give over to the corruption, sort of showing up all the layers of her character as she loses touch with reality, until we see her giving up into this strange surreal dream state at the end.
Then cut to the next episode, where the gems are attacked by this powerful new monster, who we later on realize is actually Jasper.
They could just make Steven enter her mind in his dreams again.

She fused with Lapis and she have to fight A LOT with her in order to keep it quiet, THEM beat the living shit of gems which a little longer and the cluster will go boom on earth.
So no, jasper need a lot more.

The wrist pad is a replacement for the tape recorder she lost following Steven's suggestion.
That's actually a really good theory and entirely plausible.
So if this corruption arc with Jasper is a real thing. I think it's going to basically follow this formula
- Set her up that way because it puts her in a pathetic situation, where she's so miserable anybody would sympathize with her.
- Set Steven up to figure out his healing powers during or before this time so he can help her.
- He succeeds. Jasper doesn't know how to handle this. "Thank you" is not in her dictionary. But she learns a kind of Lion and the Mouse moral from the ordeal.
- Optional scene where Homeworld Rubies come back to retrieve Jasper, they attack Steven and Jasper protects him by giving the Ruby Fusion an epic headbutt. They run crying to Yellow Diamond.
- Jasper: "Now we're even"
- This is a digression, but still important. Far in the future When Steven grows up Reed Richards Is Useless is in full effect. Since everyone just considers it as a normal thing he forgets all about how he has universal healing spit, and nobody ever researches the contents of his miracle spit to figure out how to make a panacea that can cure all illnesses.
