Troperia, Biolab

The scan shows that Jumpers head is made of the nearly exact same material as asteroids found at the fringes of the so far explored space, with one if the few differences being that those are not homogen or charged with energy. His eyes are made of a rather interesting material, being impenetrable to the scan, though.

Troperia Mess Hall / Kitchen -> Arboretum:

Regardless of what would happen next, Torvahk would bid Vincent farewell after putting his helmet back on. The alien decided to continue touring the Troperia, and while he had yet to find the elusive Security Room, he thought he overheard something about a garden or something of that sort. Considering that one of his skills involved making toxins, the fact that there even was a room dedicated to growing plants got Torvahk's attention as most poisons his people made were derived from plant life, and he figured he needed to know what might have been available in his arsenal.

Lyca Station

You would think that being the first specimen of an alien species would garner a large media reaction. You would think that because you'd be correct. As Zevai stepped off of the Izvaizovyn, she was greeted by a mass of media figures clamoring for an interview, a picture, or something. She sighed, as the media people yelled at her. There were a few non-media behind the crowd of cameras and microphones, alternately holding signs saying "Welcome New Aliens!" and "(new) Aliens go home!"

The media managed to get themselves organized enough to clear a way though. Zevai waved off as many of the questions as possible, answered very vaguely to others. The last thing she wanted to do was start a war or something because of a stray comment. She'd seen it happen, too.

Eventually, she managed to escape the media, somehow. Unfortunately, she was now lost. Fortunately, the station was not hard to navigate, not once she found a map. Finding herself at the main concourse, she realized she needed a ship that had FTL capabilities. Or to sign on with someone who did. Zevai nodded slowly. That would have to do, she had no local currency to buy a ship with, so that was out the window anyhow. Stealing a ship would look... bad. Also out of the question. She walked up to the station authority. She hesitated before speaking, "Err, is there any ship that's willing to take on another crew?"

The person at the desk looked very bored, before something clicked. "Let me see... wait, aren't you that new alien?"

Zevai sighed. "Yes. And I need a new FTL drive. Mine conveniently blew up when the antimatter containment was breached."

The desk jockey shrugged. "The government would probably give you one in exchange for your tech."

Zevai shrugged. "Explicit orders not to trade tech for anything. Or promises of tech. Or really anything."

The desk jockey looked back to the terminal, shrugging. "Looks like the Troperia is around. They're always recruiting."

A ship that was always recruiting was never a good sign. That meant death trap, or weirdness magnet. Having served on a ship like that, Zevai knew from personal experience that weirdness magnet plus space equals Bad Things. "Eh, I'll take it. What bay?"

"They're downwell."

"The captain is or...?"

"No, the entire ship."

Zevai gave an alarmed look. What kind of idiot would design a starship to land!? She quickly composed herself, and nodded. "Where can I get a ride downwell? My ship's not exactly build for landing."

The guy at the desk pointed her to an orbital shuttle, on which she hitched a ride downwell. Arriving at the spaceport on the planet itself, she set off to find the Troperia.

The Troperia - Haven

Matt ready to continue his assault suddenly freezes when his eyes meet the newest fighter Lex. A brief moment where he seems unable to continue. Dominic through his telepathy would be able to sense a sudden spike in his subconscious brain activity, before whatever interference he sensed previously seems to heighten and try to assume control again.

"Heh his girlfrien- arg stop m- you really think you will be able to save him? Jiko isn't even there any-." Matthew's voice condescendingly echoes yet... there was that clear moment where the focus shifted and the tone became more pained. Then interrupted by getting pelted by molten glass and metal.

This effect on his psyche and draining power is more than noticeable however that a small ripple is seen throughout well everything like a TV had static, for a brief second. Including the sharks all freezing in place for about a second before continuing there onslaught to bite at everyone. Perhaps enough time for some people to defend themselves such as Dominic managing to blast one that would have otherwise struck him, and for Rakiri to stab one. Equally outside the bubble the sphere pulsed for a second, the psionc vortex becoming more unstable before Ana's eyes.

It still doesn't take long for Matt to right himself again, his suit is torn and shredded, the helmet even cracked from one of the shards of glass striking it. Yet.... He was still moving though anyone with any knowledge of medicine wouldn't think a human body should be able to take this damage, especially with the blood loss into the water. The sharks continuing to harry and bite at individuals a particularly large one going straight for Dominic though none of them are yet going for Lex, unless she intervenes herself. Matt does not attack currently himself though, seemingly breathing hard and trying to give his body some time to recover, even if he was burning energy quicker than he could restore it.

Blake more of less stuck evading sharks back and fourth, taking swiping glances with a knife at them as they pass killing one in the moment of the freeze. Though he does get bit afterwards in the leg due to his well... Lack of skill at aquatic maneuvering. As said, bad swimmer

Nos Lycarin - Burger Queens

"Wait... what?!? I was only gone a few minutes and he translated and did..." Russell looks bewildered and confused as he leads the group forward.

Michael laughs a little bit. "Yeah... I am the comms officer, it wasn't really a big deal... he says clearly kinda embarrassed due to rarely getting acknowledge in the past, though the Troperia keeps testing this.

As Russell told the group it really was only a little bit away from his place, infact kinda just the next block over. So as a result, the group manages to make it to the fast food outlet of Burger Queens, it was decently busy though it was a prime time of day. The traditional smell of well made burgers, fries and similar foods can be easily smelt as the group walk inside. Much like many other outlets though one thing in particular stands out they do have specifically marked foods that use traditional Terran raised meat instead of alien or artificial though they do cost a little bit more understandably.

Russell moves towards the main counter, without much thought or consideration ordering what is likely his regular order. Terran, Queen Chicken Nuggets with a side order of some Large Fries; at which point he kinda just leans back against the counter, letting Michael and Amos order.

"I'll guess i'll have a Cheeseburger and some Small Fries"
...

Once Amos orders the woman serving the group will simply nod and simply ask if they are wanting to eat in with the busy restaurant or would like it to go.
I'll let Amos decide, we can go back and get to the ship quicker or stay here and chat for a while before heading back.

Troperia - Laboratory - Biolab

Kyerine lazily enters yawning quite a bit, kinda tired still holding the captains teddy bear. Looking around at all the strange equipment and then to Mireille and Jumper, with a confused quirk of the head. Especially at the monitor showing the output of the MRI machine which just kinda looked like confusing blob for him. He clearly had no sense of what is meant.

Then spotting Merrick he just waves. "Hey mr Doctor!" His tone becoming ever more playful and innocent over time. More carefree as he is becoming more relaxed, though all things said in his defense at the start he thought he was going to get returned home. Plus a boost in maturity from mind-bonding with Toraq has been fading with time.

Troperia Arboretum:

Eventually Torvahk Grevom would arrive at the Arboretum inside the ship. He was perplexed by how the Troperia was able to contain such a massive collection of plants, and wasn't sure what to think of his surroundings. While some might have found such a space serene and peaceful, it was incredibly foreign to Torvahk as he was completely unfamiliar with virtually every plant species inside this area. It didn't help matters that he wasn't a skilled botanist, but he was enough of a toxicologist to have a clue of what he was looking for. He would spend several minutes examining the specimens, looking to see if any of them might have had materials he could make use of for lethal or non-lethal toxins.

Chris chuckles a bit and forms his own ellipses over his head from a trio of smoothly tumbled round stones, "Is this part of the uniform now, captain?" he asks, before sending a contact request relay to The Godsgift. He then directs his attention to another screen, which shows an approaching shuttle containing Zevai, "And yet another guest, I think."

Haven

Lex watches the assault against Matthew with slight confusion, and nods to Kijo as he notices her and Dom as he comes close. Slowly two and two connect and she lashes out telepathically at the sharks trying to attack everyone, trying to fling them at Matthew. At the same time, she tries contacting everyone on the bridge telepathically, In case this is coming through, there is an emergency phenomenon in the training room...or where the training room should...be? Might be in an ocean...

Merrick waves kindly to Kyerine as he appears, "Heh, not the doctor anymore, but hello, all the same. Did you get that plushie animal on Nos Lycarin?"

He then smiles to Mireille, I'm not offended, don't worry. My name is Merrick, I'm also an exobotanist, along with an animal trainer and a medical assistant. What manner of tests do you want to run?"

Haven

Dominic continues firing lasers from his gauntlets at the shark coming towards him, but not without the shark managing to bite on his leg first. The beams redirect themselves towards the ones coming at David and Kijo next, albeit weaker.

Sensing a vulnerability in Matthew's mind, he then tries to disrupt his mental processes with false sensory information, including the recent bout of pain in his leg. This wasn't something he tried often, due to telepathy not being one of his specialties.

Mitch continues struggling for a bit, randomly throwing around boulders and boiling the water around him, until...

Backup power cells online. Halting aerobic respiration and lung functions. Reducing heart rate. Mitch goes full Terminator, complete with glowing red eyes, and rushes towards Matthew.

But yes, Mitch manages to switch to his backup power cells, temporarily eliminating the need to breathe, and fully registers the shark coming towards him. He puts his hands in front of him towards it, sucking the heat of the surrounding water before firing a focused beam that is not only enough to instantly boil the water around it, but in fact makes it expand so fast that it creates a thunderous shockwave that can hit Matthew by proxy, akin to lightning coursing through air.

Bridge

Peter creates his own ellipses using ice from his water bottle... which then turn into Pac-Mans and starts going after Chris and Greg's own spheres.

"Oh, is that the new alien?" Izzie asks Chris, chuckling at the trio's antics.

They then both receive Lex's message, though it's unclear. "Hey, did you guys hear something about the training room and an emergency?" Peter asks the others.

Nothing mayor... only a full body analysis... MRI... bloodsample... maybe a brain scan... you know the stuff." As she mentioned the MRI she looked to the monitor to check if Jumper's MRI was done by now, glancing over it she was surprised to say the least before turning around again... and doing a Double Take seeing things like for example the eyes "Oh... that... is interesting... err... thank you for your cooperation Jumper... I'll try to analyze that data, you can get out of the machine now." Mentally she was already rubbing her hands in anticipation. Analyzing this would be fun. then she snapped back into reality "Oh, pardon me... I was fascinated by the data, you really are an interesting crew."

Troperia Arboretum:

After about half an hour of intense searching and examination, Torvahk was only able to find extremely light toxin ingredients from the wide array of plants being grown on the Troperia. Said ingredients were the kind of chemicals one would find in tranquilizers and sleeping aids. They weren't exactly what Torvahk was hoping for, but there were some times where all one needed was a little less lethality. Sure, it was possible to kill somebody with sedative overdosing, but that wasn't the goal with such substances. Usually Kahmandra would use tranquilizers to subdue unruly prisoners, and at times was used as a more "ethical" means of taking down prey during hunts by people who wanted to save on bullets. Unfortunately it was often used for more unethical purposes by criminals, but Torvahk was not one of these people.

Torvahk would have begun extracting these chemicals to be placed inside dart ammunition, however he didn't have the tools to do so on him, which he left on Mehketar. He felt stupid about leaving many of his other tools behind, but who could blame him? This whole adventure was unexpected, and he'd simply need to look for new supplies as he went. Instead, he'd continue wandering around, unknowingly leaving the Arboretum and heading towards the direction of the biolab in his search for the security room.

Nos Lycarin - Burger Queens

The woman nods and has the order called through, informing you it would take a few minutes to prepare before serving the next customer. "You really gonna eat that much?" Russell questions disbelievingly at Amos. Michael giving a shrug, not really taking into the account Russell is unlikely to be able to notice such a gesture.

The Troperia - Haven —> Training Room

Matthew couldn't help but fixate on Lex and to a degree now Blake and Dominic now as he tried to recover. His subconscious fighting the influence trying to control him.

The boiling shock-wave is launched at Matthew who is given little area to maneuver due to approaching controlled sharks of Lex. In that moment of hesitation where he needed to decide which way to go Dominic's own telepathic attack hits and what he feels is not what he expected...

His mind touches something not human and defiantly not Matts. Pathetic worm, you're just a mere novice. A mind echoes condescendingly, Dominics own telepathic channel essentially hijacked. Let me show you show a real telepath does it! As in that brief moment Dominic while he manages to shock Matthew feels this other entity with a feminine voice strikes, sending a rippling shockwave throughout Dominic's body and most notably targeting his visual cortex to leave him hallucinations and temporary blindness for the next few minutes or perhaps longer depending on how well Dominic's body could respond to the overload. A mind clearly trained for telepathic control and influencing of others, the same one controlling Matt throughout this fight; amplifying dark emotions like sadness, grief and anger to make him uncontrollable... Or so she thought.

As through various factors occurring at once. Matt telepathically echoes one final message. ''Aryana... go back to hell where you belong!" In a intensely pained tone. Right as Rakiri lunges forward into one of the sharks a sudden bright flash of light is seen. Back in the training room the vortex destabilizing and bursting in this rapid shock-wave that throws nearby equipment over as EVERYONE returns back at once. Completely dry but just as wounded bruised or as sour as they should have been, water gone from anyone's lungs and momentum from say a attack still intact.

Matthew on his knees on the floor, barely holding himself up with his hands panting. His armor gone and his clothes that are in there place while only slightly cut from before are quickly turning bright red all over as blood pours from his various wounds, his face and arms heavilly burn't and scorched from the intense heat, more blood even pouring from his nose and mouth... Purple and gold psionic energies dissipated but sparking around him violently, touching him would be like touching a the taser he was wielding earlier...

Blake was coughing and wheezing and trying to recover, he was in a pretty bad state but was already trying to push himself back up and start moving over, through he needed a moment with his bad leg to do so. "T-Thats enough now." The fight was over but the carnage was evident. Matt certainly was in no state to fight, it didn't take medical knowledge to realize he was loosing blood quicker than is survivable without treatment. His swords are imbeded in the ceiling somewhere near broken.

Torvahk Grevom continued wandering about aimlessly through the Troperia. While he was heading in the direction of the ship's Bio Lab, he'd end up getting stopped by an unexpected encounter with yet another lifeform that the bird-raptor alien was unfamiliar with. This time, it looked like...some sort of cyborg insect thing that Torvahk couldn't even effectively relate to an animal he knew. "Crew people how many here?" He wondered aloud, accurately inferring that this person had to be part of the Troperia's Crew: Which seemed to consist of a wide variety of diverse characters with equally differing backgrounds.

"You are who?" Torvahk simply asked Sha'Koro, continuing to fail at disguising his ignorance for English syntax.

Haven/Training Room

Being hit by the telepathic backlash, Dominic 'latches on' to Mitch's senses so he doesn't become completely blind, and for additional resistance. They're then returned to the training room, Mitch sprawled over on one corner while Dominic puts up a barrier around his wounded leg, which isn't actually in that bad of a shape considering it was bit by a shark.

Mitch isn't so lucky - he seems to have trouble even getting up. The taser did more than just mess with his nervous system; they overloaded some of his nanites and fried some cybernetics as well. This wouldn't be too bad for most other people, but Mitch had his integrated with his cells on the cellular level, meaning his body was effectively cooked from the inside out.

Dominic then limps over to Matthew, assisted by Mitch's eyesight. He telepathically contacts Peter, Izzie and Val for help, then puts a hand over Matthew, creating barrier patches similar to the one on his leg to temporarily stifle the bleeding until help arrives. "Who was that?" He asks him and Blake.

[Deep Space—Aboard the Godsgift]

Beep-beep-beep.

Two of Whistler's heads came up. He'd been rifling through the rations, trying to decide if he trusted the AI's assessment of how long they would last on the (honestly pretty likely) chance that this Terminal thing turned out to be a fool's errand. He needed to keep himself busy until they reached it, he knew, or he might start panicking again.

Beep-beep-beep, the console repeated, sounding weirdly insistent.

"Computer," he said. "What's going on?"

The Godsgift cheerfully replied, "I don't understand your question, Whistler."

Whistler grumbled. "The beeping. Why are you beeping at me?"

"There is an additional signal broadcasting from the Terminal. Someone is hailing us."

The rations forgotten, Whistler's Ed and Fi both dove for the communications console, bumping heads. He grumbled again and opened the channel.

"Hello?" he said in Samnorsk, uncertain what language to use. They certainly wouldn't speak Tinish, as no one offworld had ever heard of the Tines, but supposedly Samnorsk was a widespread language. "Uh, computer, be ready to translate, if they're speaking a language you know."

"Certainly. This is a generic request for contact, though; there may not be anyone actively monitoring the channel. Shall I relay your message?" It played a recording of Whistler's tentative "Hello".

"Uh. No. Uh. Record this: This is Whistler Eddirastfinar of the... the freighter Godsgift." It wasn't really a freighter, strictly speaking, but it had been designed based on one, and it was perfectly capable of hauling cargo, albeit not in the ship itself, which was barely big enough for two packs to sit in without being uncomfortably close. "I have a human crewmember onboard with me. We're in need of assistance. Please... uh... assist."

He glanced over at Sy, who hadn't woken up yet. He wasn't sure if he should worry. Godsgift had insisted the human was uninjured, but... Ah, well.

"Thank you," he finished awkwardly. "Broadcast that, ship."

"Right away."

"RRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAGH!" Rakiri yells as he lunges, ready to rip that leathery blue bastard a new one...only for the scene to shift and send everyone back to the ship. "...Huh!? Shit!" Unable to stop his momentum, he ends up flying across the room and colliding with some of the storage crates in the corner. Rubbing his head, he rolls over to his back. "...Urgh!" he grunts angrily before slamming his fist against the floor, hard.

...Unfortunately, the hit is enough to jostle the crates further and send them tumbling. "Nononon-!" he manages before he gets buried, his legs sticking out rather comically from the "rubble".

A moment later, all the boxes are utterly decimated by a powerful electrical discharge from Rakiri, sending shards of wood flying everywhere and jumps back up, stomping on the remains of the boxes in anger.

"ARRGH, THE OCEAN CAN SUCK MY FUCKING D-" He starts and his foot catches a piece of the debris in the wrong way, making it slip forward and causing him to lose his balance before he ends up sprawled on his back again.

"...Fucking oceans."

Amos looks slightly bashful, scratching the back of his head. "Eheheh...well, by no choice of my own, I had to go about 4 months without any food at all. I need to get my metabolism regulated again so my cybernetics can function properly." he explains. "...And, well, I might also be making up for lost time, heh...but mainly the first thing." he chuckles.

Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.

Troperia Hallway:

Torvahk was perplexed at the mention and sight of Aicha, as neither he nor any of his kind (at least in his generation and the one prior) had seen robots of any sort in person. Even if Torvahk were alive during the days of the Crimson Imperium, he still wouldn't have been familiar with A.I.s like Aicha because the furthest the Kahmandra race had ever gotten with robotics were deliberately Brick-Level Drones designed for repairs, medical support, and/or combat... and nowadays those advances were gone as far as Torvahk knew.

"So...is not pet yours?" Torvahk asked in confusion, keeping an eye hidden by his helmet on Aicha.
