They used Joker, Penguin, and Two-Face just fine being normal dudes. It's a little far having Poison Ivy completely overpower Swamp Thing and controlling him like a puppet. Between that and sounding like a nerd, why was he chosen by the Green?
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Poison Ivy is also connected to the Green.
Yeah she is in Earth Prime.

Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureNo she isn't. First she used poison, then she used a plant-device Chronos the Time-Thief made for her. Then at some point she was given plant powers. Being a Plant Elemental used to be something special.
Anyway I don't have a real problem *if* she's only going to be used a JL villain, instead of a Batman villain.

Ivy's powers are limited if she's not in a place with a lot of plants and plants are not very durable any way. Just bring a flame thrower.
Saw "Double Cross".
Plastic Man and Firestorm continue to be awesome.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I would complain that Firestorm is used too much, but his comparison to Two-Face was too good to pass up.
Plastic Man's pretty great. You got to be to play Deadshot like a chump like that.
Also, I like how this is the SECOND time we have a Two-Face who doesn't use a coin.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Just saw "The Trouble with Truth." Nice Wonder Woman focused episode. My only problem was the way Athena acted, but then I got it was played for laughs. Also she kicked ass. Loved her Transformation Sequence too. And the homage to the original Clash of the Titans (the robot owl.)
The resolution was a nice touch- both the way Diana got to stop the bomb's detonation, and the way Athena recognized Diana's fate is to be a hero rather than a goddess (a point some people miss.)
Also, the animation in this show is getting better than I expected.
With the bit about Superman having some kind of adventure with the New Gods offscreen, I spent the whole episode expecting Athena to be Granny Goodness in disguise.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I'm more surprised that Zazzala a.k.a. Queen Bee isn't leading this version of H.I.V.E. in creating some kind of bee weapon.

Wake me up at your own risk."Battle for the Bottled City"
Brainiac is a riot here, and it's cool to see the Atom in action. The Swiss-Cheese Security of the Fortress of Solitude and shrunken Superman's inconsistent size bug me, though.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'm glad there are more eps of this, but I'm really frustrated that Cartoon Network just isn't even giving it a chance. It's really good. It's incredibly depressing how short sighted some networks can be.
One Strip! One Strip!"Garden of Evil"
Hi Swamp Thing! Didn't expect you to be this chill. More Firestorm is always a good thing.
Really didn't like Harley's voice. I don't think Tara Strong's Bubbles voice fits the character at all. Poison Ivy was cool.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? For those with access to the CN website/app, all of July's new episodes are now available for early viewing.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Apparently there's also some online shorts. The first three are out, with more to come weekly.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Somehow, Lobo voiced as a Randy Savage parody makes so much sense that I'm surprised it hasn't been done before.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. In one of shorts, Atom joins the JL...Not that it really matters, I have hard time telling who is and who isn't on the team, it doesn't really seem to make any difference.
Lobo continues being one of best characters.
"All Aboard the Space Train"
Space Cabby teams up with Jonah Hex to take back a space train with cargo stolen from the Watchtower. Weird, but cool. We also get to hear Batman speak like a cowboy, which is a treat.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Man this show sure likes to swing for the fences.
Well this show is the spiritual successor to Batman: The Brave and The Bold. And we all know how over the top that show became to the point where they literally did an episode about "Jumping the Shark" as a series finale.

If you don't boost Batman enemies, then they don't have any reason to show up outside Batman stories. Guys like Two-Face or Scarface are virtually worthless in anything involving superhumans.
