We have permission from xkcd's creator to use entire strips, so we're good on that angle. That said, if we can find something that gets the trope across more concisely, I think that'd be an improvement.

I'm not sure any of the panels add to illustrating the trope (as opposed to telling a joke) past the first one.
Check out my fanfiction!I agree that the first panel is fine on its own.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?On the other hand, I don't think the extra three panels are actively hurting the image...
Moon◊The first panel doesn't really do anything on its own. It's not a great illustration because of xkcd's simple art style. The full comic is at least a discussion of the trope with some humor to it. Keep the whole thing Until Better Image Suggested.
It's okay for now, but I'd honestly much rather find a picture that's a good picture of an actual fort rather than just people talking about one.
Reaction Image RepositoryGoogle Image Search gave plenty. Here's one.◊
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportMuch clearer than current.
Good illustration, at least. Here's a couple of the fort Amy made in The Big Bang Theory: 1, 2◊
10.2 is okay, but 10.1 is far too dark.
Agreed, 10.2
I think that's less clear than the other ones.
Check out my fanfiction! The Big Bang Theory pics are good conceptually, but in practice they're a bit too dark.
Reaction Image RepositoryCommunity? I dig the obvious child-like wonder in their expressions.
I love XKCD, but I feel like it should be a last resort for a page image. Between the art style and the amount of text, it's rarely the best illustration. Same with The Order Of The Stick. They're both so self-aware the troperiffic that they cover so many tropes... but they just make poor illustrations.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Is there a bigger version? That might be great with 100 more pixels.

That's pretty good.
That works.
Check out my fanfiction!I think 8 is a little more clear on the 'blanket' aspect of the trope.
When I first saw 17.1, it just looked like they were sitting on a bed.

Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project! Are we good for a crowner?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Here's a crowner. I also noted that we may need permission for 23.2.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
I was under the influence that we cannot use entire comics, only select panels. The image here is simply http://xkcd.com/219/ changed from 4x1 to 2x2 in layout.
We could probably lose panel 3 (lower left on current) and the joke would still work.
Or find a picture of an actual Blanket Fort...
Health sure is versatile. It's possible to be both light-headed and dim-witted. At the same time, no less.
