Movie? Well, okay. I was hoping for a whole season, but I guess a movie is fine too.
Not sure why, though, or whether the series works in a 90 minutes format, but it's still nice to get more Konosuba.
Yeah, Konosuba feels not really suited to a movie.
But hopefully they prove me wrong.
The animation style from Deen really fit the comedic style of the story. I wonder how JC Staff will handle it.
It might be a stretch, but I'm expecting more fluid animation this time around. After all, this is for the big screen. (Though I didn't mind Deen deliberately using Off-Model moments for comedy in the TV series since that worked so well for them.)
However, there are some concerns on whether this movie will be anime-original content or not. Though from what I read on the ANN forums in response to that article, volume 5 of the light novel might work well as a movie. I'm hoping it is an adaptation of LN volume 5, but confirmation first.

A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Hey, Fate Mata.
Who?
Cuz Google is just giving...Fate/Go shit.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Astolfo for Fate/Apo dub. She was also the police lady in B The Beginning but the latter was a better role.
Kadokawa just released the PV for the movie:
Oh my, we're gonna see Megumin's family.
Yea, it's adapting the 5th Novel, which is basically Megumin's Day in the Limelight.

Konosuba took the top spot
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistDoesn't seem that different from Western opinions…
…though I heard that Smartphone was generic as hell, so it might be a bit surprising.
so a stupid question just popped into my head, what would happen if Kazuma used Steal on Reinhard Van Astrea? unlike Kyouya Mitsurugi, Reinhard is legit broken, would he even manage to steal his sword?
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistI haven't read the LN's, but a quick Google found this list of what I think are just his passive skills (I don't want to spoil myself).
If you check this list it should give you an indication if he has anything to stop it.
I watched up to ep 6 of season 1.
I can see why this is so popular. This show is lauded for being very unpredictable and fresh, which I agree. But, some bits, like Kazuma party constantly trying to get a big score, reminds me of classical series like Cowboy Bebop as well.
Vast majority of isekai works are afraid of making MC suffer and it's very refreshing to see a cast that is dysfunctional and yet surprisingly full of chemistry. The team also has a great balance of powers, making them adaptable but never too broken.
And of course, how can I not mention the humor. There's a funny moment or line every minute. This is all around one of the all time most entertaining animes I've ever watched.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Just finished season 1.
Most of what I wanted to say about this series I already said, but there is something I want to say.
Wow, the English dub. Kazuma is just as good as (already good) original dub. But Verdia? Holy fuck. His English dub is ten times better than the original. Every time I hear "...Who! It! Issssssssssssss!!!!!!" and "Strike baby, woooooooo!!!" It cracks me up so bad.
God, it makes me so sad he's dead. Verdia suffering is one of the best bits about this season!
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I was at the Konosuba panel at Anime Expo. I'm pretty shocked not everyone who attended knew that Aqua's hair ornament was referencing the water molecule.
With a '0', not an 'O'Fascinating. Given her name, It Makes Sense in Context.
Also, is it me or is Aqua looks like the girl from Hyrule Warriors
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."
It's not a season 3, but a movie. Also, it's being done by J.C. Staff.

Hope ODEX or Aniplus picks this movie up for local release.
