Past a certain point, the counter uses a default, very high value that is meaningless. I am quite certain that I have not been a wiki user for over 15 years.

I mean why can't we search for our earliest post ourselves. I'd expect the mod staff to know how long, but only because I'd expect it to be easy to find by anyone. It isn't however, there is no tool for the users to to look up older posts buried in the boards. What was the reasoning for this design choice?
Our software does not keep post lists for arbitrary amount of time, unlike MediaWiki.

I remember some discussion from way back that having a seniority measure was a bad thing because it creates a hierarchy. Same reason join dates and post counts don't show up on forum posts. Newb-shaming being something to avoid.
