Shut up and take my money, Laika.
OK, I'm impressed. And I don't even like Stop-motion!
I have no idea what's going on in the trailer but I'm way interested, looks awesome.
"That's a to-go order. See! It's already gone!!"This film looks fantastic. Great teaser too. It has shown relativel little, and yet it has my complete attention.

has a clue, but it's usually not the correct one 0.55% of the timeDid that child just slice a wave in half with The Power of Rock?
(this looks fantastic, though, the papercraft magic has ridiculous potential)
Cannot get over how good the stop-motion animation looks. I really hope this movie turns out great, from what I've heard The Boxtrolls (and depending on who you ask, Paranorman too) were a bit of a step back compared to Coraline.

I want to know who did the cover of "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" for the trailer because it sounds epically awesome!
Niceeee, good to see some plot details.
0o Is Kubo missing an eye? I hadn't noticed that. But otherwise, yeah, amazing trailer!
Why isn't there a page for this movie yet?
Ryoko. My first reaction to the trailer was, "Hold on, Laika is doing full CGI movies now?"
I mean, I know they're good, but not that good.
Echoing hymn of my fellow passerine | Art blog (under construction)Even for Laika, this looks impressive.
This looks amazing. Love the touch of Japanese Mythology within the movie.
Despite how much I've heard of the studio, this will be my first Laika film. I'll brace myself.
Saw the trailer at the movies yesterday, and it's been in the back of my mind ever since. It looks wonderful! And they just keep stepping up their game with the stop-motion!
It doesn't have a trope page yet? I can make one if a few people will help me fill it out a bit! Kubo and the Two Strings
Currently writing something. Currently procrastinating.Lot of Laika Studio tours showing behind the scenes looks at the film. You know that Gashadokuro in the trailers? That thing is 25 feet tall, the largest puppet ever built for a stop motion animated film

Holy shit Laika, there's putting in all your effort, then there's just being masochists. This is going to be amazing.
The movie is now sitting at 96 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It looks like Laika is back to their peak after the slight slump of Boxtrolls. (It wasn't bad, exactly, just underwhelming when compared to their previous work.)
Not Three Laws compliant. It still amazes me that they have BLURR FRAME faces. Very nice adaptation of another medium's tricks.
Regina Spektor apparently did the "While My Guitar" cover.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.
Laika keeps it coming!
