When have you accidentally the thing?

And with the thing, I meant performed a Shout-Out.

Starting with me;

• I accidentally made a protagonist of one of my stories an Gender Flipped expy of Masato Kusaka. Right down to the hatred of the humans-turned-Monster of the Week.
• The original writeup for David had him being a stoic Deadpan Snarker with Sugar-and-Ice Personality. He immediately gets called an male version of a Rei Ayanami Expy.

That's aren't a Shout-Out, that is just a coincidence. You just use tropes, Beta!David just use tropes commonly asociated to the Rei Ayanami Expy. Nothing more

I was working on this Madoka Magica ripoff where the kids become "Heroes" and the more magic they use, the more senses they slowly lose... and then this other Madoka ripoff turned out to exist. Ha ha, whoops!

In my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fic, I was thinking of putting in a Lopunny who is more or less a walking One Punch Man reference.

I swear to whatever deity you follow, I came up with a character named Emily Morgan who would be alluded to and make a couple of appearances in my novel with the idea that she would be more involved in a possible sequel. Emily and Morgan just so happened to be the two victims in The Puppet Show. Yeah I worked in two characters named Darryl (as in Sommers) and his girlfriend Dawn as a cute nod to the show but I swear this one was accidental.
