Nah, it could have been anything with a sentence or two of exposition. However, I'm interpreting it to have a certain out-of-story meaning.

Once again I'm thinking that Mars is Eagleland - Alex must have terrible taste in music for a reason ;) . Also, we still have three episodes until the season finale.

In this episode: Alex is cute again, Bobbi does some Punctuated Pounding, Amos does a return to sender and Holden makes an INTENSE FACE.

Over the past few episodes I've been quite impressed by Errinwright's actor. He was just alright last season, but now he's really selling me.

I do have one thing that bugs me: aren't the internal diagnostics on Roci showing that one of the PDC bays is busted?

Probably yes but they are sort of busy?

Sneak peek is up, and they indeed noticed it when going through diagnostics.

Which means Holden makes an INTENSE FACE again.

In the season finale: Alex is cute again, Caliban fetches, Cotyar doesn't give a shit, Prax has a botanical epiphany, Amos goes shirtless, Janus is amazed and Bobbi makes a grand entrance.

I've been looking forward to seeing how they handled the Arbogast getting disassembled by the protomolecule, and that scene did not disappoint.

Speaking of which - holy shit, they killed Adam Savage

Another favourite moment - Avasarala's look of proprietary smugness as she watches Bobby trash Mao's men. "Oh yeah. I knew you'd come in handy."

And now for the worst part of the series - waiting another year for season 3.

So, what can we hope for the future of the Expanse? Because after seeing the Season 3 finale it looks like its going the way like humanity from Mass Effect when they found the first technology of the Protheans/Reapers

Going by the next book, it's gonna be first about a murder and claimjumping on some of the newly settled world's. No more aliens yet, just more human dickery
