Having Spikes of Villainy and being Red and Black and Evil All Over are pretty clear indicators of being a bad guy. Remember that being a good illustration is not the same thing as being a good example; the first is required, the second is nice to have. If an image where he looks even more Obviously Evil can be found though, sure.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"That costume is way more elaborate than a mortal warlord's. He looks demonic to me. Suggestions for something better?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The Basara version looks demonic enough, especially compared to his real life portrait. What the other characters in the work looks like doesn't matter, especially since they're not included in the pic.
Keep the current image.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe second link's not working for me.
I wouldn't recommend the Samurai Warriors version as he usually is portrayed as more pragmatic than Obviously Evil.
This is a Basara Nobunaga with his Demonic entity◊. It's a bit too big, but I hope this can be trimmed down better, and it's an even better packaging: Not only the demonic entity is present, there's also the Red Eyes, Take Warning AND Glowing Eyes of Doom. I think this would portray the trope more.
(I was actually looking for an Onimusha Nobunaga due to the glowing red eye also present and portrays 'demon' better than just Spikes of Villainy and Red and Black and Evil All Over (any villains can wear these while not being a demon, while we're looking for 'demon' Nobunaga), but this is an even better and more complete package. Though you can definitely contest about the picture quality)

I've cropped and resized the above image. Does it work?
(Annoyed grunt)Hm... is there any way we could also put in the historical Nobunaga in there without ruining the overall picture? The old picture at least puts the historical Nobunaga in. Otherwise the cropped new picture works.
Then again, in the Historical Villain Upgrade we didn't even put the image of the original Rasputin in, so it might work a stand alone picture. We could use a text though to make up for the lack of historical Nobunaga picture.
Hm, maybe... "Damn it, Nobunaga, I thought you were just joking about that 'Demon King of the Sixth Heaven' thing!"

Is the insert too big?

(Annoyed grunt)Not sure I like the change. (Especially not the caption suggestion. Whereas the HVU caption clearly and concisely communicates the information that a comparison frame would try for, which IMO is better than a second frame, that suggestion seems meaningless.)

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. What if we just don't have caption altogether?
That latest suggestion is really fuzzy...is that the best it gets?
Bump. What's going to happen here?
(Annoyed grunt)Good question. Crowner?

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"And here's a crowner for the options.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Thanks, it's hooked.
Votes bump; two in the green, very close to each other.
One more bump; the two in the green are tied right now.
And those are the two I can't decide between. :/

I'd like some help when it comes to this picture.
This picture... doesn't quite illustrate the Sengoku Basara version of Nobunaga on the right to be demonic. I mean, sure, the Basara version really is a devilish, brutal person, but if you just look at it from a glance, he looked no different than any other warlords out there, it doesn't look too 'demonic'. The Onimusha Nobunaga seems to portray the demonic thing better, like glowing eyes, or dark aura.
The old caption of this picture, which used to be for Historical Villain Upgrade (which is now gone), was "I'm sorry, Nobunaga. I don't recognize you there without your Ominous Latin Chanting and lightning." Nothing demonic about it and it needed HEARING for recognition, not vision. You cannot recognize him on sight if you don't know Sengoku Basara, you need to hear him first. But regardless, this doesn't portray Nobunaga being a demon that much.
I'm not saying that the picture must not come from Basara, Nobunaga CAN still have the Basara version to portray the trope, just not that right picture. Maybe if it's from Basara, it should be when he's backed with his demonic entity. Just so at least you CAN see that he is a demon without delving into Sengoku Basara. But if not from Basara, the Onimusha series would be a good example source as I think we have Nobunaga with Devilish Red Eyes just to immediately know that "Yes, Nobunaga here is a demon."
Anyone wanna help?
