*snerk* People might say it's a bit to close to the pic on Blatant Lies in terms of theme, but it gets a chuckle out of me so I'm good with it.

Doesn't fit; that's clearly a dog.
Check out my fanfiction! This is the worst picture ever, can it.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?^^^ I was wondering why this made me think of a different trope. It's not just a paper-thin-disguise, but not a disguise at all. If the cat was wearing a dog mask or something I could see it, but I don't think this really illustrates it.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"How about this◊?
And, for the sake of the joke, here's a dog disguised as a cat◊.

Heh, those are pretty good.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I mean, if consensus says this image is good enough to go up there, then I've got no objections. It's quite a cute picture. I'm just concerned that, well, we have an image on PaperThinDisguise.Real Life already...
Moon◊I'm finding it hard to decide between OP and 6.2. Both are humorous and adorable.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI am fine with either 6.2 or 1
I prefer 6.2 more though, it shows a weak disguise instead of a word written on a sweater.

for 6.2. It creeps me out.
I prefer OP to 6.2.
Moon◊OP or 6.2.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIn the last suggestion thread Deis The Alcano noted that a trope with this many subpages would better be off without an image on the main page. And Here We Go Again!.
Since there are examples of media other than the subpages on the main page, an example from one of them would work for the main page. With that, panels 1 and 3 of this might work. There's also these two Dilbert strips, and the Trix rabbit◊ from advertising.

Hmmm... Garfield could work, though the description states that played straight, the paper thin disguise should pass scrutiny; there it looks like Jon's girfriend recognizes the cat on sight. Dilbert looks more like Most Definitely Not a Villain.
Two more examples, from a Skittles commercial◊ and a Baked Beans commercial◊, respectively.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Either's good.
Other suggestions? Crowner? And if the latter, should only suggestions from the main page be used or not?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The Bush's Baked Beans one gave me a good enough chuckle, so that can work in the Advertising section.
The Skittles one is a bit too dark to comprehend.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportThe spider's disguise seems intentional on its part. The dog's fine.
Alternatively, maybe Advertising can be moved to its own subpage with one of these images, and the main page left blank?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Nine fleshed-out examples is enough to justify moving Advertising to its own subpage and putting one of the suggestions there.
Alright, I've split advertising to a new subpage and made a crowner for the suggestions.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Thanks, it's hooked.
may I suggest an actual paper thin disguise?◊
Edit never mind I'm thinking about the wrong trope page
And also are those bean ads the best quality we can find I don't know if its my screen but they seem really fuzzy

I notice that despite being a very visual trope, this page doesn't have an image. Might I offer a suggestion?
