Posting on phone in bed. Had to stay an extra half hour at work, and didn't get my half hour break; I am therefore very exhausted. I also forgot to mention last night that I have to do laundry today. Gonna lie in bed for a bit while that's going. At the latest I'll get up and onto my computer when the laundry is finished, which will be about an hour and a half from now.

Alright, here now and properly recapped. I should have a post up relatively soon, but I don't know if I'll be making many if any posts after that today.

@Demovere: Hmm. I remember that happening, but I don't recall it being a big deal for that long once you handled it.

@Udthe Imp: There certainly is some room for you guys to make some terrible mistakes on that front. I'm not gonna specify in what way though.

It was still a bit disappointing to have such a grim scenario suddenly pop up on the supposed break day back then - which is probably one of several things that necessitated a second major break day. Most of us then and now are playing as characters whom it would be out-of-character for to ignore such threats, so any more lighthearted shenanigans are quashed almost immediately with said threats hanging over their heads the whole game day.

apparently break days are not days for characters to have a break, but rather for them to just break

I'm totally fine with not charging straight into drama while it's a break day. someone has to enjoy it after all

They're gonna run into plot elements sooner or later anyway

Later on, our characters will be broken by said break days as well. Then new players will be the ones enjoying the supposed break day, and the cycle shall continue.

Ghostfreak floats by, trips over Sadness, gets overwhelmed by memories of his sad sad childhood, gives up on life, hooray we win!

I can totally see that cycle happening.

I think the main problem with this break day is that trying to make it a lighthearted day but then also introducing the threat of the big bad that just died on the previous day coming back is a bit too much of a bad omen for most characters to really ignore.

Secret: What did you mean when you said Ben was "like Train except without the Train things that made Train Train"? I don't know anything about Black Cat.

Train (especially when he was briefly a kid) is a lot like Ben. Take Chronic Hero Syndrome, wrap it up in some recklessness (though in Train's case, it's justified) and add some childishness, and you'll end up with something close to both of them. But Train is Train and Ben doesn't have the dark background that makes Train Train.

Well, I've gotta get going for tonight. Tomorrow's shift is again supposed to be just like Tuesday's, only hopefully this time without my break getting forgotten and having to stay and extra thirty minutes...

I'm not sure what my plans for dinner tomorrow are, though I will have to get going for the night earlier because Saturday's shift is especially early.

That was an easy message to decipher once you notice that the first few characters (MSIISTSSTUAJITRIEEE) clearly suggest that Miss Tairee's name is hidden in there somehow.

Due to my most recent post, I feel the need to ask what is the weirdest flavour of ice cream/gelato/sorbet you have ever tasted? (Mine is horseradish).

I'm really bland with my ice cream tastes. The weirdest ice cream flavor I've ever eaten is Superman (a local taste consisting of black cherry, "blue moon" which is basically marshmallow, and vanilla).

Also, Ben and Eve continue to be adorable. And Josh, "Ben is cute for a kid"?

I got the message last night thanks to a different hint. But I had to sleep on it to figure out how in the world Firock's hint suggested the solution.

I suck at puzzles... Though I had zero trouble with the second half some people were tripping on once I figured out how to do the first half, so I guess there's that

i figured it out with incredible ease

I figured it out by being lazy. Turns out rolling onto your back and staring at your screen upside-down can do wonders for your perception.

So far as weirdest ice cream flavor, it was probably a green tea frozen yogurt I got once. Fairly tame, honestly, but still something that baffles most of the people I live around in Arkansas
