They also seem to be going back to the blue and gold suits.
Except she's dead >_>
Mileena Madness
So was Xavier in X3. Who has the same powers as her.
I hope all this bluster about Disney acquiring Fox is just idle chatter. I really like the X-Men movies as they are.
Find the Light in the DarkUhh the banks are getting involved...

If the banks are getting involved, that means things are getting serious, right?
Maybe she made it rain to help create the proper mood.
Or, more seriously, maybe she can't stop herself from making it rain because of her mood.
I'm in the camp that likes the X-Men films as they are, honestly. I'd prefer they stay with Fox. I mean, I like the MCU just fine, but I really don't want to end up with that tone for the X-Men. I prefer the seriousness that some of the best of the X-Men movies have, and I really don't have any desire to see them turn into a joke-per-minute comedy.
"In 900 years of time and space I've never met anyone who wasn't important."I get what you mean, but if Fox is ready to sell I would rather Marvel gets the rights over the competition.
Mileena MadnessThe things about disney getting the X-men (and by default Marvel), is that after years of getting by without them, there would really be no room for them in the MCU.
I suppose they could just keep making the movies in their own universe, and hopefully keeping the same style, but still.
We needed this years ago, and now we kinda don't.
One Strip! One Strip! If the deal happens this won't be like Sony. I would expect Dark Phoenix to end the Fox X Men.
Mileena MadnessYou might want to look at this then:
It might sound a touch harebrained, but some people came up with an idea...
For context:
Since Infinity War and Avengers 4 involve the Infinity Gauntlet, and the Gauntlet has the power to bend reality and the original Onslaught story involved all the heroes "dying", people deduce that Marvel Studios can squeeze the Mutants into the MCU by doing a semi-adaptation of Heroes Reborn.
Like I said, harebrained. But still interesting, no?
EDIT: And on that note, regarding Disney-Fox deal:
We might hear something final in mere days.
Though the article points out that there'll be some huge scrutiny or something like that, so everyone keep your collective pants on.

Disney won’t be able to touch the fox properties until 2020.
“If the deal goes through, it likely wouldn’t close until late 2018. Disney would then spend much of 2019 integrating the two companies’ assets, including cable-television networks, international TV distributors and a film and television studio.”
According to Munn there is meant to be one more movie about Phoenix. So I except that to be the final film, ending on the 20th anniversary. I think Kevin Fiege would love the series to have closure since it helped started his career.
Isn’t X-Men: Dark Phoenix that “one more movie about Phoenix”?

Munn says it’s like a two parter and the young actors have a three movie contract.
Dark Phoenix Wants to Treat Its Female Characters Better Than the Sinful X-Men 3

Gee I wonder what that might be the case. :V
Mileena MadnessActually thinking about it, the Singer X-movies do have a history of having the women be the ones to make major saves
X1 = Jean got them out of Magneto’s trap.
X2 = Storm saves the world, Rogue saves the group with the X-jet, Jean saves them from the flood.
DOFP = Mystique saves the President.
XA = Jean saves the world.
You didn’t think about. You copied and pasted that from my post at CBR.
You can also add Deadpool to the list.

Btw, Disney put out Big Hero 6 which is a Marvel property not set in MCU.
That was animation not live action.
Mileena MadnessI seriously doubt that Disney will say no to Deadpool/X-23/X-Force’s extra 600-800 million with stupid cheap budget.
EDIT: And Deadpool was more profitable than Civil War afterall.

So I'm reading that Heroes Reborn theory (with a fight between Phoenix and Onslaught, as well as the Infinity Gems—specifically Reality—being in play), and I gotta admit, it could work.
I'm willing to see if they could really pull it off. Also, maybe we'd even get an improved version of Inhumans Vs Xmen. There's a lot to mine from these two groups interacting and battling each other, but the meta circumstances behind why the comic even happened (along with trying to force the Inhumans into a role unsuited to them, and also throwing the Xmen under the bus) soured the whole thing. Maybe they could give it a second shot and do it right.
One Strip! One Strip!
It’s likely Emma Frost. Her turning into diamonds counts as shapeshifting.
