Andy Serkis will be the most physically exhausted man in show business by the end of all this.

John Goodman has joined the cast of Skull Island. With Tom Hiddleston and Jason Mitchell, this is shaping up to be a great cast.
This should certainly please James Rolfe. He's been clamouring for a new Gozilla vs. King Kong movie for years.
I haven't seen the new Godzilla movie, so I only have the trailers and supplemental material to go on, and I'm going with the assumption that the Kong movie is matching up more with the Jackson King Kong movie which I haven't seen since it was in theaters, so I could be mistaken on this: but isn't the 'new' Godzilla a lot bigger than King Kong?
Biggest one on record. So they'll have to do something to make Kong a match. In the original vs, Kong was much bigger and he also got these weird lightning powers for some reason.
Now all we need is Frankenstein vs. King Kong and Godzilla vs. Frankenstein.
Mutant Kong of some kind, maybe?
Or maybe they'll have it be Kong vs a 'baby' Godzilla of some kind.
They should surprise everyone by keeping Kong the same size, but give him something like an Oxygen Destroyer in gun form.
I could see the not only King Kong being larger, but the new American Godzilla grow too, since the Japanese one coming out next year is supposed to dwarf even Legendary's version.
Watch SymphogearGodzilla's going to keep getting bigger with every new movie, until he's the size of a planet, and he's wrestling an even bigger planet.
I didn't write any of that.He just needs to wear Kamina shades by then, though
Watch SymphogearConsidering that King Kong vs. Godzilla was the very first Godzilla movie I watched when I was a kid, this pleases me immensly. I'm hoping that this will also result in the original japanese version of that movie finally being released in America as a method to promote this movie, because that has been a major problem for years now.
There's a part of me that wants Kong to stay his regular size, if only so we can have him perform a Colossus Climb on Godzilla.
Kong does like climbing tall things.
Although, they could go the route that regular King Kong is maybe 40 feet tall, but gets exposed to radiation and grows to several hundred feet tall. It's a giant monster movie, after all.
"It takes an idiot to do cool things, that's why it's cool" - Haruhara HarukoThis will basically be Colossus Climb the movie. There's no way Kong can pose an actual threat to Godzilla without trying to gouge his eyes out. Godzilla could just grab him and give him a little squish.
My various fanfics. There's also that Godzilla is far more resilient. Human weaponry has been shown to do basically nothing to him again and again while Kong was susceptible to a Death of a Thousand Cuts.

King Kong was killed by bullets.
Godzilla can't be killed by Black holes or absolute fucking zero.
My various fanfics. No one has ever tried flinging poo at Godzilla. Maybe it will turn out that's his kryptonite?
His kryptonite is Anti-Nuclear Energy Bacteria.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? It's a joke.
Hell, even then, he immunized himself to it after that, and it no longer effects him.
Watch SymphogearTrue.
I'd also add the Oxygen Destroyer, but that's effective against literally anything that breathes oxygen.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?True.
Though whether it could kill Burning Godzilla is up to debate, especially as he nears critical mass.
Hmm, I wonder if Bagan and Super Godzilla will ever appear In a movie, since their have been many times Toho has wanted to.
Maybe in the Hideaki Anno movie?

Watch SymphogearGodzilla vs. Evangelion
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
Directed by Jordan Vogt-Roberts, Kong: Skull Island will star Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. It’s a prequel story explaining the origins of Kong. Godzilla 2 is the follow up to the 2014 hit, and will feature the current King of the Monsters battling some of his most iconic foes, Rodan, Mothra and Ghidorah. No word on casting for that one.
Fans surely know that King Kong and Godzilla have faced off before, in a 1962 Japanese film, as seen above. But they’ve never faced off in a big budget Hollywood film and that’s what’s going to happen here. It’s kind of a dream team. And possibly, the start of the Monster Avengers.
