Iron Violet is a superhero webcomic about (as the title says) a shy girl that becomes a hero after her once peaceful city in Oklahoma gets a spike in supervillain activity.
The comic is very manga-like, adopting the art style, humor and face faults. It's very character driven, so has a lot of introspection.
Overall a lighthearted and traditional superhero story, but recent issues has been going through the Cerebus Syndrome and getting fairly darker.
The comic also has had two (soon to be three) artists, so if you don't like the first issue's artwork, check out future issues. I'd argue the quality gets much better over time.
