This whole page needs to be purged with fire. It's fetishizing small children. That's not ok.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickAnd far too many ZCE and opinionated entries, too.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanSo, cutlist? Or crowner first?
One one hand, it's a thing that happens. On the other, is there anything that isn't just gushing and actually has a point and value to the wiki? Can't find anything.
Check out my fanfiction!I can't even figure out if there are any references to memes on this page. I think a crowner would be good with as many wicks as it has.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI think there may be a couple examples that have some merit, but even if so, in my opinion it'd be better just to start a page for them from scratch.
E.g. there actually exists a fan joke about Spider-Man having a supernatural ability to attract women's kisses. Some fans have noticed that for some reason Peter has kissed a lot more women than he ever dated or had sex with. So... yeah. But as I said, it'd be better just to find a new place for those examples.
I haven't seen any memes there myself, just a couple fan in-jokes or Fetish Fuel or references to canon.

The trope is not about memes. It is about characters that are considered Sex Gods in the audience.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhile it's definitely a thing that happens, getting rid of it is probably the best solution due to its potentially creepy/overly-gushy nature
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? There's not a lot to add as context in this case. I say cut.
Honestly, the pedo stuff seems to have creeped out onto YMMV pages where it's much harder to police. Just cutting the examples isn't going to fix this.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI think we could have a page on the concept as audience reaction and fan speak, but there should be no examples.
I'd say we should cut the examples from the page a la Mary Sue tropes and track the misuse through the YMMV pages. Such a project would be very extensive and, considering all the examples, tedious, but it is the best solution I can come up with.
I was once told that Mary Sue and its related tropes aren't allowed to have examples, but I've gotten conflicting reports on that.
Regardless, this is one of those things that's better off just being cut. It invites a level of creepiness that we really shouldn't have.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?@12 & 13: The question is — is there a proper use at all?
Sex God is "someone who is great at giving their partner sexual pleasure". So Memetic Sex God would be a list of characters that fans think are great at sex. But the thing is, in sexual fantasies everyone is great at sex, everyone is a Sex God. So it means, it will be a list of characters that a lot of fans have sexual fantasies about. Which just makes this Fetish Fuel v2.0.
@14: Mary Sue at least is a critical term, albeit overused and overmisused over the years. It can breed a lot of flame wars, but in itself it has some constructive purpose. This one, however...

But the thing is, in sexual fantasies everyone is great at sex, everyone is a Sex God.
Pretty sure you are wrong with that one. Anyhoo, thinking that someone is good at sex does not equal having a fetish for it. So no, this page has nothing to do with Fetish Fuel.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIsn't the condition of these "Memetic x" tropes is that these characters are widely considered as such in the fandom, both seriously and jokingly? Just one person's fantasy doesn't cut it.

welp, cut is overwhelmingly in favor of, I think it can safely be called.
The thing is, I just don't see any valid examples. All the pages I browsed, are either tropers gushing about what a sexy beast they think a character is, or how they managed to get a lot of sex in canon (which is not this trope). I feel it's just like, you fantasize about having sex with Power Girl, of course you imagine her giving you great sexual pleasure. But... do we really need a "trope" for that?
Well, if we do, it's not going to be this one. Calling for cut.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickThe crowner is 4.2 to 1 in favor of cut. Is it enough or should we wait a bit more?
It's been cut. Make with the wick removal so we can close this.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOops, sorry, didn't notice that! Thanks! By the way, if possible, the Laconic, Quotes, and Image Links pages also need to be cut.
I'll clean up the wicks asap, but I'd appreciate any help with that (1168 wicks at the moment).
Aye, cutlist the subpages.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI'm working on the redirects first. Already done one.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?
What even is this trope?
By definition, it's supposed to be a YMMV fan reaction trope, about:
- characters who (according to fans) can score a lot of sex;
- characters who (according to fans) can sexually please anyone.
The second part is already a problem. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Rule 34 state that, in horny fans' minds, every single character is like that? And the example list doesn't follow the definition, anyway. Some examples:
- Sue Storm from Fantastic Four comics. Come on, seriously? Who thinks that? The woman had sex with, like, two men during her 50-year tenure, one of which is her husband. For the Marvel Universe, it's like being a nun. The closest thing I've heard were some fans who called her a "huge slut" for flirting with Namor and Spidey — and that's not Memetic Sex God, that's just fans who like to judge flirty women or consider it cheating.
- Carol Danvers. Judging by the example, the troper meant "a lot of people consider her sexy", which is not this trope, it's Fetish Fuel.
- Storm from X Men. The example talks about her having a lot of partners in-universe. But in-universe is not this trope.
- Same with Iron Man. Dude has had 30+ sexual partners in canon.
- Dick Grayson is, again, Fetish Fuel.
- Daredevil is, again, in-universe.
- Wonder Woman is a ZCE talking about how "hot" she is.
- She-Hulk is one of the most promiscuous Marvel heroines in-universe, which is again not this trope.
- The Video Games folder has a lot of ZCE, which sound like Fetish Fuel.
- Duke Nukem is a sex god in-universe.
and so on, and so on.Seems to me, most examples are either "fans onsider this character hot" (which is Fetish Fuel), or "this character gets laid a lot in-universe" (which is The Casanova or a lot of similar tropes).
And don't get me started on all the creepy underage character examples, which I don't know why haven't already been purged to oblivion.
