Hello fellow RP'ers! This is the Signup thread for Battleworld 2.0. What is Battleworld, someone is asking, I am sure. The basic premise is simple. Across the multiverse, various bits and pieces of land, referred to as "Chunks" are uprooted from their home reality and thrown together on a new world. The Battleworld. What will happen when these vastly different people encounter one another? Well, that's half the fun of Battleworld. If this at all interests you, then you may sign up below.

So who can I use? So now for ground rules. This time around, you have two options for how to participate. First, you can sign up as a chunk. what this means is that you will be in control of all of the people of your chosen chunk. Be they main characters, supporting cast, villains, etc. While i'm not instituting a strict upper limit on population numbers, be reasonable. You won't be allowed to import, say, all of New York and its 8 million people. You would, however, be allowed to import a single piece of New York.

Your second option is a new thing we're doing, chunkless factions. Not everyone is a leader. Not everyone cares to be in charge of other people. For those people, they will enter the Battleworld as a small group. These groups can consist of anywhere from 1-6 people. I would much prefer these groups consist of members that are all from the same universe. They do NOT have to be a pre-established group in said universe. Hell, throw together a few people that hate each other if you really want. Just be aware that they will be expected to work together as a team at points, and will be at a disadvantage if they cannot do so. Said groups will enter as independent groups, and be freely allowed to do as they wish in the battleworld. Wanna hire yourself to the highest bidder? Want to explore the Battleworld and meet new, interesting people? That's cool.

What's the power level limitations? This will be easier to determine on a case by case basis, but nerfs will be handed out to anyone who is too overpowered or has powers with the potential to break the game. There will be a decent IC explanation for the nerfs (Mainly that the guy responsible for creating the Battleworld doesn't want to see everyone else get curbstomped by a single guy.)

Last little note here, this RP might get a little detailed and hard to keep track of at times. There will be a lot of factions running around, supporting charicters going to other chunks, etc. Be aware that this may get a little complex as time passes, thow I'll try my best to keep confusion and headaches to a minimum. Also, for you returning players who wanna reuse your guy from the last one, feel free to copy and paste the signup, I won't mind.

So, without further ado, the signup!

    • Contents/Locations:[What can one find in this chunk? If there are no specialties to your chunk- AKA it's just like real life- just put in 'nothing'.]
    • ''Population: [Tell me about the people who were unfortunately dragged along with your characters to the Battleworld. This is necessary, because chunk management will involve taking care of the people who live in your chunk, people who move to your chunk from others, etc. You will have to provide for them, whip them into an army, build new homes and so much more, so me knowing how the people in your world live their daily lives is essential. Also, give me an approximate number of how many people are there in your chunk.]

If I decided to go with No More Heroes 2 as my chunk, would I sign up all 17 or so assassins or just choose favorite 7-8. Then do the non chosen stick around and get treated like elite mooks or do they just not get transported to battleworld?

[up]17 is.....high for a supporting cast count. You're going to have to cut that down to 6 or 7, ya. As for the rest, assuming they don't have any highly unusual ability's, I've no objection to them appearing in an elite mook capacity on occasion.

Haha, figured as much, was mostly curious what I should do with everyone else. Will probably have to completely ax Charlie. Dr. Letz Shake, and Captain Vladimir since their abilities consist of a 40m mech, an earthquake death machine, and an orbital laser (though vlad might be salvageable if I get rid of the kill sat). No one else should be particular op and can easily play down any abilities they do have. Should still provide for colorful encounters if met though. Also got to figure out what to do with Travis since he is kinda incompatible since many of the other assassins main motivation is to kill the guy.

Okay let's hope I can keep up with the game this time.

  • Main Character
    • Name: Iris Sepperin
    • Age: Unknown, but is basically a little child.
    • Appearance: "Good heavens!"
    • Personality:Iris appears to be a kind, gentle, innocent, and "mature-for-her-age" young girl to many people. But that is only a facade; beneath her innocent mask looks lies a cruel, scheming, manipulative, wicked, and deceitful little girl who is willing to do everything in her power for personal gain. She believes herself to be the most powerful Magus in existence, a child of God himself, and incomparable to anyone else. She believes herself to exist on a higher plane than everyone else, who in turn she calls "commoners", and claims to have become a God and therefore unable to be defeated nor stopped by anyone. Everything she does is for her own amusement as the wicked god she believes herself to be. She has a habit of speaking in a sing-songy way and has "good heavens" as a catchphrase.
    • Powers: Blitzstrahl: Iris has basically the power of summoning powerful lightning bolts that she can fire at any direction she wants. She's able to use lightning in various ways, such as firing lightning sphere or producing magical circles that can redirect her lightning at her opponent for trick shots.
      • Iris can also assume a seraphic form where she grows large wings that allow her to fly, this is usually the form she takes when she's forced to fight someone herself. In this form she can also teleport short distances
    • Equipment: She has absolutely nothing.
    • Backstory: She was born as one half of the reincarnation of Rosenkreuz, the most powerful Magus in the world. She was, as she says, blessed with absolute power and unparalleled brains. Such blessing however made her view everyone else as inferior and made her bored with life. To entertain herself she basically used the world as her playground, manipulating everyone into doing exactly what she wants no matter how much much pain she causes to others. She was defeated by her other half once she tried to cause a big war in her own amusement, but she escaped and soon made a new plot to get her revenge. It was in the middle of said plan that she ended up getting in Battleworld along with said pawns.

  • Supporting Cast
    • Name: Pamela Arwig
    • Age: Unknown
    • Appearance: "In the pride... of the Black Cross!"
    • Personality: Pamela is very straight-forward and sensible and has a very strong sense of justice and will convict anyone that happens to not share the same views as her. No matter what happens, she never doubts her own views of justice.
    • Powers: Pamela is able to create magical circles which she can use to teleport short distances by making one portal in front of her and another at a close distance, but each circle disappear after it's used and she has to draw the first one manually, leaving her vulnerable as she does so. She's also capable of moving very quickly at almost superhuman speed.
    • Equipment: White Silver: Pamela's magical saber that's capable of firing multiple small sword beams in a slash. She can use it to summon a giant sword that releases a power energy wave as it slashes right in front of her, however this attacks costs too much mana and as such she only uses it when desperate. She can also throw fireballs from the portals she makes with it.
    • Backstory: A girl born of nobility, Pamela was secretly trained as a royal knight and is the captain of the Black Cross organization. Her existence is kept a secret, and because of that, very little is actually known about her. Her organization was about to start hunting down the members of another organization Iris had manipulated into going berserk, but is not aware that it was her doing, or even that she's already being manipulated by her.

    • Name: Eifer Skute
    • Age: Looks like a young girl, but is actually only a few years old.
    • Appearance:"Ashes to ashes. Dust to dust."
    • Personality:She's very cool-headed and mature for despite her young appearance, however, she her mood and emotions tend to violently flunctuate, often making her act out of character for those familiar with her. She can show herself to be quite smug and show a surprising amount of serenity in combat when her emotions are flunctuating. Eifer is also very vulnerable to cold thanks to suffering from hypothermia
    • Powers: Eifer possesses the miracle power known as "Fever Spike". Using it, she can manipulate the location, density, and hardness of objects around her and uses them to attack. She can turn any objects into dangerous weapons in an instant, such as turning vines into powerful spears. She's also able to turn herself intangible for a brief time and can also levitate. She also has the power of making two illusory copies of herself that can help her attack, but as with Pamela she uses it as a desperation move. When outside of her element she battles mainly by firing energy balls or producing big spikes made of plants with her mana that she can fire at her opponents.
    • Equipment: None
    • Backstory: Eifer is a homunculus created by Iris to act as her personal servant using her other half's best friend as the template for her creation. Eifer joined the Black Cross as a mole to keep tabs on the organization's affairs and further manipulate them into doing Iris's biddings.

    • Name:Lecht & Rink Refraktia
    • Age: Unknown, both are little girls
    • Appearance: Letch is the one with the eyepatch.
    • Personality: Lecht, the older of the two, is very introverted and doesn't like talking to others. She also loves to read. Rink, the younger sister, is a lively, outgoing girl who keeps her sister foremost in her thoughts. If her sister is in any danger, Rink will stop at nothing to remove the threat.
    • Powers: False Shadow: The twins can make a magical barrier around themselves to protect themselves from attacks, though the barrier can be easily destroyed by strong attacks, which they can also use to try to ram into their opponents as the magic that comprises it is harmful to touch. They can also use their own shadows as weapons, moving around the area at a very fast speed to distract their opponent while their shadows occasionally pop out to fire a laser against their enemy while they're focused on them. They can also move around without doing any movement themselves, even being able to float. The twins can also teleport in the same vein as Iris.
    • Equipment: None.
    • Backstory: Letch is blind in one eye and as such wear an eyepatch, her twin sister, Rink, however, is only a fake image made by her. The girls are actually real twins and the original Rink is dead (most likely in the same accident that made Letch lose an eye). Rink, although being a fake image, has her own consciousness and is so natural to Lecht that her existence is taken for granted. Even when Letch runs out of magical power, Rink remains at her side.

    • Name: Schirach Fühler
    • Age: Unknown, but looks like a young woman
    • Appearance: "Change the world? Words of a madman, I say."
    • Personality: Schirach is a fairly mysterious woman. She loves battle to the point of obsession and is overjoyed to simply participate in a fight, regardless of whether she wins or not. She rarely seems to lose her cool when not in a fight, at which point she becomes much more boisterous.
    • Powers: Light Fist: Schirach's power is basically super strength, which allows her to wield her hammer with great power and speed. Even being able to make the ground shake by slamming her hammer on the ground, which she often uses to destabilize her opponents.
    • Equipment: Her weapon is a massive, over-sized hammer.
    • Backstory: Schirach is a mysterious woman, she was once part of the same organization the Black Cross was going to oppose thanks to Iris's scheming, She had been reported missing for years, but suddenly reappeared as a member of the Black Cross for reasons unknown.

Ok, here's my own signup. I'll be reviewing others momentarily, this took several hours for me to do.

  • Main Character
    • Name: Shao Kahn
    • Age: Unknown, possibly ageless
    • Appearance: Here
    • Personality: Shao Kahn is a ruthless tyrant that rules his realm with an iron fist. Aggressive, callous, and brutal, Shao Kahn's only ambition is to take over every realm and unite them under his banner. However, behind the aggressiveness is hints of a cunning mind. While he prefers brute force to solve a problem, Shao Kahn is not above other methods. he has been known to recruit traitors from other realms into his forces, assimilate defeated realm's native forces into his own army, and lie to others in order to get what he wants. His greatest weakness, however, is his arrogance. Often he has underestimated the warriors of Earthrealm, and payed the price for it.
    • Powers:
      • Brute Force: Perhaps obvious given his size, but Shao Kahn possesses superhuman strength and durability, and is easily the most physically powerful being in Outworld. His strength is such that few from his universe can hope to match him in it.
      • Magic: Shao Kahn possesses a vast knowledge of the powers of magic. While typically forced to consult with his sorcerers for more obscure uses of magic, Shao Kahn can create various forms of magic projectiles to toss at his foes, and create magic shields.
    • Equipment:
      • Wrath Hammer: Shao Kahn's signature weapon, this giant hammer would be impossible for any human to use due to his shear size. This hammer is also enhanced with magic, and in addition to crushing skulls, can also be used to break through magic barriers with repeated swings.
    • Backstory:Millenia ago Shao Kahn overthrew the Dragon King Onaga as ruler of Outworld. Ever since then, he and has conquered many other realms and merged them with his own realm. Eventually, he turned his sights Earthrealm. The Mortal Kombat tournament prevents him from taking the realm by force, but if Shao Kahn's champions can win 10 consecutive tournaments, Earthrealm will be his. However, his champion found himself defeated at the hands of the new Earthrealm champion, Liu Kang. Filled with rage over this failure, Shao Kahn would begin ploting another attempt to take Earthrealm, had he not found himself and his realm suddenly displaced in reality.

  • Supporting Cast
    • Name:Shang Tsung
    • Age:Unknown, effectively ageless, but must consume souls to maintain his youth.
    • Appearance: here
    • Personality: A subdued man, Shang Tsung is never one to anger, never one to act rashly. His every move is carefully planned and thought out to ensure the optimal result. However, he masks this with a bombastic personality, throwing lavish party's, dressing in the finest of clothes, and living in elaborate palaces.
    • ''Powers:
      • Shapeshfting: Shang Tsung possesses the ability to take the form of anyone he sees using his magic. This also extends to their fighting style, as he can mimic the styles of anyone he has taken the form of, ablit while not being as good with it as the real deal.
      • Portals: Shang Tsung has the ability to create magic potals which enable him to travel between realms undetected by the Elder Gods or other magical defenses. These portals take sevral seconds for him to create, and he can be interrupted while doing so.
      • Flame Skull: His primary ranged projectile in combat is a fireball that takes the form of a fiery skull.
      • Soul Absorption: Shang Tsung possesses the ability to steal the souls of those who he kills. In addition to revitalizing his body, he also gains access to their memory's as well.
    • Equipment: None
    • Backstory:A treacherous sorcerer who consumes the souls of his victims, Shang Tsung has played host to the last nine Mortal Kombat tournaments in Earthrealm, stacking the odds in favor of his master. Originally from Earthrealm, Shang Tsung's magical abilities led him to discover the realm of Outworld. There he fell in league with its ruler, Shao Kahn, and pledged his life to him in return for enhanced power. He is now bound to the emperor by powerful dark magic. For centuries he has submissively done Shao Kahn's bidding. Should he fail in his mission to secure Earthrealm, he will suffer the emperor's wrath.

    • Name: Kano
    • Age: 30's
    • Appearance:Here
    • Personality: As a mercenary and leader of the international crime cartel known as the Black Dragon, Kano rises beyond the level of mere brutality and aggression by also being sly and cunning. It was through his resourcefulness that he convinced Shao Kahn to spare his life, and it was through ruthless ambition that he later ascended to position of general of Outworld's armies. Originally from Australia, Kano is highly opportunistic and incredibly selfish, eager to betray others even if it be his own allies, usually for financial gain. He combines the features of a cowardly minion, a lone survivor, a crazed madman, and a ruthless commander.
    • Powers: None
    • Equipment
      • Dual Butterfly Knifes: Kano's signature weapons
      • Cybernetics: Kano uses his cybernetics to give him the edge in combat, usually with his eye, as it is capable of firing a high powered laser at foes.
    • Backstory:Undisciplined and dangerous, Kano is a thug for hire. From weapons dealing to cold-blooded murder, his military training has made him the go-to man for the Black Dragon. But when an operation went to hell and his face horribly mutilated, Kano's crime spree was almost ended. Ever the survivor, he used his underworld connections to find a cyberneticist capable of repairing the damage. Kano was fitted with several high-tech enhancements, most notably his eye laser. With these new weapons, Kano's reign of terror has only just begun.

    • Name:Kitana
    • Age:Approximately 10,000 years
    • Appearance: here
    • Personality: Kitana is proud to a fault, due to being raised as the rightful heir to the throne of Outworld. She believes herself superior to most others to a point. She is slow to give her trust to anyone, but once given, she will have undying loyalty to them.
    • Powers:
      • Assassin Skills: Having been trained as one of Shao Kahn's personal assassins, Kitana possesses all the basic skills being an assassin would imply. She is skilled in stealth, the use of her personal weapons, a set of steel fans that are very sharp, and hand to hand combat.
      • Wind Magic: Kitana possesses the ability to create small wind storms powerful enough to lift someone off their feet and several feet into the air. She can also use this power to propel herself considerable distances and create a storm around herself to reflect small projectiles back at the attacker for a few moments.
    • Equipment
      • Steel fans:Kitana's signature weapons, these steel fans can also be folded up and turned into daggers. Kitana can summon these blades directly to her hands whenever she needs them, enabling her to easily retrieve them after throwing them.
    • Backstory:Over 10,000 years old, Princess Kitana remembers little of her early years. Her mother, Queen Sindel, died mysteriously ages ago in Earthrealm. Most of her life she has loyally served her father, Shao Kahn, in his unending quest to conquer the realms. With her closest friend, Jade, Kitana enforces his brutal will. But there is a feeling tugging at her... a feeling that the life she has known is a deception. For the moment, however, Kitana dutifully serves her father as needed.

    • Name:Jade
    • Age:Unknown, likely near Kitana's age
    • Appearance: here
    • Personality:Cocky and sassy, Jade provides a major contrast to her close friend Kitana, who she serves as the personal bodyguard of.
    • Powers:None
    • Equipment
      • Magical staff: Jade's signature weapon, this staff can change its length and thickness at will.
      • Razorang: A round multibladed handheld weapon, Jade can throw this weapon and control its path as it flys through the air.
    • Backstory:An assassin for Shao Kahn, Jade has earned a reputation as an agile and stealthy warrior. Her family was Edenian nobility and served the emperor once he conquered their realm, giving Jade to him as tribute when she was a child. After years of rigorous training in the art of kombat, Shao Kahn awarded her the position of Bodyguard to Princess Kitana. Over the centuries she and Kitana have become close friends, which makes Jade's secret orders from Shao Kahn painful to accept: Should Kitana's loyalty falter, Jade must kill her friend.

    • Name:Meleenanote
    • Age:Technically 0, but as a clone of Kitana, Mileena possesses the same body as her.
    • Appearance: Here
    • Personality: Vicious and evil, Mileena despises Kitana. Her fondest wish is to kill her "sister", and claim her existence for her own. Somewhat of an opportunist, she will make use of any chance to seize power that comes within her hands.
    • Powers:
      • Teleportation: Meleena possesses a limited form of teleportation, as she can appear wherever she throws her Sais at. This limitation means she can only preform it for short distances in limited circumstances.
      • Genetic Experiment: Due to Mileena being a fusion of two different species, she possesses the traits of both, mixing the agility and speed of an Edinan with the bloodlust and ferocity of a Tarkatan, making her an extremely deadly combatant.
    • Equipment
      • Sais: Mileena's signature weapons, she can summon these back to her hands at any time, and use them to teleport as detailed above.
    • Backstory:Shang Tsung has created many abominable creatures in his Flesh Pits, but none so twisted as Mileena. A fusion of Edenian flesh and Tarkatan blood, Mileena is both beauty and beast. This dichotomy has made her mind unstable; she is prone to fits of madness and savagery. Though she has the appearance of a mature woman, she is more child than adult—a blank slate conformed to Shao Kahn's will. Devoid of conscience or remorse, Mileena will butcher anyone to appease her beloved father.

    • Name:Baraka
    • Age:Unknown
    • Appearance:Here
    • Personality: As one of the finest warriors of his people, Baraka commands respect as one of the generals of Outworld. Fiercely loyal to Shao Kahn, Baraka will butcher anyone that threatens him and Outworld.
    • Powers:
      • Strength: As a Tarkatan, Baraka possesses greater stamina and fighting power than a normal human.
      • Super Smell: Baraka has an enhanced sense of smell, and can use it to track people, and even identify impostors who are pretending to be other people.
      • Healing Factor: Baraka also possesses a limited healing factor, but it will not allow him to survive serious injurys without outside assistance.
    • Equipment
      • Retractable Blades: Baraka possesses retractable arm blades he can pull out at will
    • Backstory:Baraka is the fiercest of the Tarkatans, vicious nomadic mutants from the wastes of Outworld. Like all Tarkatan males, he joined Shao Kahn's army once he came of age and survived the brutal Ritual of Blood. He gained the rank of Enforcer after single-handedly defeating a rebel faction. His loyalty and strength make him a favorite of the emperor; his retractable blades have slain many of Shao Kahn's most bitter enemies. As a kontestant in the Mortal Kombat tournament, he will ensure his emperor's claim to Earthrealm.

  • Name: Quan Chi
  • Age: Unknown
  • Appearance: here
  • Personality:Quan Chi is the most powerful sorcerer and necromancer in the Netherrealm, and he combines both cunning and brute force in his never-ending plots to overtake not only Earthrealm, but all of reality. He is an opportunist and will ally himself with anyone who can help him further his own goals. He is notable in particular for his ruthlessness and pragmatism. His manipulative and deceptive nature has earned him many enemies,
  • Powers: (Note that Quan Chi is taking some hard nerfs here and having a number of powers the wiki states that he has removed for balancing)
    • Portal Magic-This works identically to Shang Tsung's portal magic, with the same limitations. Notably, Quan Chi is shown to be slightly more proficient in the use of this magic and actively makes use of it in combat to move around quickly and take enemies by surprise (By, for instance, creating a portal behind an enemy and pulling them through it for easy damage). However, due to the nerfs to the time it takes him to create it, this will become somewhat harder for him to do, though if left unpressured he will have time to work his magic.
    • Necromancy-While he does not have access to the netherrealm, the realm of the dead in the Mortal Kombat universe, Quan Chi can still resurrect the dead and press them into his service. However, due to his inability to access the netherrealm to complete the ritual, this is an incomplete process, and the control he wields over his thralls is not as complete as normal, and can be broken by sufficient application of a fist to the thrall's face or by forcing him to remove the control. Note that due to his loss of connection to the netherrealm, he cannot create full armies of the dead and anyone he does resurrect will require time for him to work the ritual, preventing this from being something he can just snap his fingers and do
    • Soul Steal-This is how Quan Chi obtains new souls to turn into his thralls. While he does not have to be the one to land the killing blow, Quan Chi can only steal the souls of the dead, and must be close to said dead person in order to do this.
    • False Copy-Quan Chi can create illusions of himself (Limited to up to 2 extra at any time) that serve to misdirect his foes. These are purely illusions, and cannot attack or be harmed.
    • Hellfire-A basic green blast of energy in the shape of a skull that deals magic damage
    • Ground Burst-Quan Chi creates a circle on the ground around the opponent that, after a moment, fires a pillar of magical energy around them, harming them and knocking them backward.
    • Summoner-Quan Chi can summon a netherrealm bat to assist him in combat. While mildly irritating, it is still just a bat, and serves mostly to distract opponents while Quan Chi does something more powerful.
  • Equipment:Bout the only thing he has is a ritual knife that's not really suitable for kombat and assorted artifacts that he keeps in his stronghold and probably won't make appearances in this RP.
  • Backstory: Originally a Netherrealm demon, Quan Chi evolved into one of the most powerful sorcerers in the realms. While nominally in the service of Shao Kahn, Quan Chi secretly serves the fallen Elder God Shinnok. However, with Shinnok's lack of presence on the Battleworld, Quan Chi for now remains loyal to Shao Kahn. For now.

  • Chunk
    • Name of the World:Outworld
    • Description:Outworld is a large realm of varying landscapes. Outworld's primary landscapes appear to consist of barren, purple wastelands, deserts, pools of acid, dense forests with animated faces, and high, mysterious mountain peaks. Small villages are scattered throughout the landscape, and the realm teems with magical energy.
    • Contents/Locations:
      • Shao Kahn's Fortress: Main residence of Shao Kahn and Prinsess Kitana, this is where Shao Kahn sits in court and hands out his brutal edicts. This location also posesses Outworld's armory
      • Living Forest: An area full of living, haunted trees, some of which are hungry, and will attempt to eat unsuspecting travelers.
      • Wastelands of Outworld: An uninhabited, war torn wasteland, this area is all that remains of the realm of Edenia after Shao Kahn's konquest of the realm. It possesses a small lake which appears to be made of blood.
      • Outworld Marketplace: This is where the natives of outworld do their day to day buisness. Slave labor lines the streets, keeping the realm running smoothly as the people keep their heads low, least they attract the attention of the guard.
      • The Flesh Pits: An uninhabed area, this is where Shang Tsung works his twisted magic.
    • Specialties Outworld is an otherworldly realm that teems with magical energy. Beyond that, nothing too out of the normal.
    • ''Population: Outworld consists of the following species.
      • Shokan, described as "half-human, half-dragon," are a four-armed humanoid race possessed of towering stature and powerful builds. They are organized in terms of a clan-based monarchy. They are fierce warriors and hate the Centaurians.
      • Centaurians (AKA Centaurs). Though largely resembling the mythical Earthrealm creatures of the same name, this race is far more vicious, possessing scorpion-like tails and horns. They are renowned hunters and powerful warriors. Centaurians have been violently feuding with the Shokan for ages, and the two races compete for the favor of Shao Kahn. Although the emperor seems to encourage this animosity to an extent, forcing Centaurians and Shokan to fight each other for the right to enter his service, he does not allow it to escalate into open warfare that could threaten the already tenuous stability of his realm.
      • While not often seen, Vampires have been a part of Outworld since their realm was annexed by Shao Kahn. They possess the ability to travel in between realms and are excellent record keepers. Contrary to other fictional vampires, they can move by daylight in most realms, but are highly allergic to Earth's sun.
      • Tarkatans, also known as Mutants or Nomads, are a nomadic, humanoid race feared for their barbarous nature and extreme bouts of rage. Tarkatans are a mutant crossbreed of Netherrealm demons and Outworlders. They possess retractable metal blades in their forearms, and their mouths are lined with razor-sharp teeth. They are notorious cannibals and exhibit animalistic behavior, with the men observed flying into a murderous rage at the scent of a competing male. Though their demonic ancestors originated from the Netherrealm, the Tarkatans have long resided in the wastelands of Outworld.
      • Edenians, originally from the realm of Edenia, became inhabitants of Outworld after losing 10 consecutive Mortal Kombat tournaments against Shao Kahn's minions. Biologically similar to other humanoids, Edenians are rumored to be descended from the Gods themselves, explaining their extremely long lifespans, slow aging process and natural affinity with magic.

@Full Moon Questions are as follows.

Iris-The teleportation, what kind of limits does it have? You mentioned distance, but is there a cooldown at all? Or can she use it repeatedly without any waiting period? If so, this is a cause for concern, as it would make it VERY hard for some characters to be able to land any kind of a blow on her outside of an ambush.

Eifer-Causing a few concerns for me. The "Fever Spike" ability is something I need a bit more elaboration on. What do you mean by altering the location of objects? Can she teleport them? Are there any limits as to the type of objects she can alter? And reguarding intangibility, I have much the same question as Iris above, any cooldown? If it's a one time thing she can only use every few minutes, then it's not too big a deal. If she can pop it every 10 seconds, that's a problem. Also, can she attack while intangible? And how long does it last?

Lecht and Rink-One thing. The bit about "They can also move around without doing any movement themselves". Can you clarify here what exactly this means? Are you just referring to their ability to float?

Hooray for copypasta!~

Main Character

  • Name: Shiroe
  • Age: 23
  • Appearance: "Indeed, I am the Villain in Glasses."
  • Personality: If you ask many a person in the city of Akihabara, the average individual would reply that Shiroe is a sneaky, manipulative, and all around suspicious person. Which he actually is, though his manipulations tend to be for the good of just about everyone else, such as the betterment of their living standards and the clean up of crime. He often acts in the background, taking on the blame and hatred of the public as a "villain" so things can run smoothly and without a problem. He is socially awkward and stiff to all but his friends, with a fierce independent streak. Intelligent and sharp are viable descriptions for this lanky man, though he's viewed as a somewhat masochistic softie by his comrades.
  • Powers: Shiroe is an Enchanter, which essentially means he lacks any true offensive staying power as a magician type class. Instead, the majority of his magics tend towards buffing his allies' various attributes such as attack or speed. He also acts as a walking debuffer (whereupon he can cast magics that lower the various traits of his opponents) or cast spells that cause status ailments such as Sleep and Paralysis or low powered attack spells that disorient or disrupt the target with hallucinations or psychic attacks. His magics can be resisted by strong individuals or they can be dodged as they are all visible attacks that are launched and need to collide with the target to activate.
    • Besides his main class abilities, Shiroe also has the subclass of Scribe, which lets him read and write very fast, produce high quality inks and papers, copy and scan texts, and create magically binding contracts that can at the highest point turn non-Adventurers into Adventurers. And even if he is a magician, due to him being level 90+, he has superhuman abilities to a certain extent. An example would be that he can easily stop an average adult male's punch with a single finger and without budging (though that was after buffed himself up beforehand).
  • Equipment: White Staff of the Wings of Ruin (Increases the range of his support magic), Sage's Coat (Grants high resistance to psychological or mental attacks), and Laurel Blossom Talisman (Strengthens attack and defense magic of the mind attribute). Besides these three Phantasmal equipment, Shiroe is equipped with a magic bag that he uses to store consumables such as healing potions as well as his scribing equipment. The bag is magic in that it can carry a lot more than it looks it can carry.
  • Backstory: Shiroe was an ordinary 23 year old engineering design student that one day decided to log into an online MMO called Elder Tales whilst waiting for the latest big update "Homesteading the Noosphere". What happened next was... he was flung bodily into some sort of video game influenced world where both real world physics and video game laws exist in some sort of paradoxical coexistence, giving him the powers of his in-game avatar along with twenty thousand Japanese players (and much more global players). Through his wits and now superhuman abilities, Shiroe was able to become one of the most influential administrative members of a city full of Adventurers and Landers. Nowadays, he schemes to protect those stuck in the weird new world of Thedelsia and see if he can find a way back home to regular Tokyo.

Supporting Cast
  • Name: Akatsuki
  • Age: 23
  • Appearance: "As my lord wills."
  • Personality: Akatsuki is somewhat serious and goes around displaying a neutral or emotionless look most of the time. Despite this, it is rather easy to embarrass her. She likes roleplaying as a ninja, and thus this quirk has her performing what she thinks are ninja-like actions. Being a hard worker with a no nonsense attitude, it's pretty easy to tick the tiny Assassin off by treating her as a child due to her overall height and appearance.
  • Powers: Akatsuki is considered "among the best of second class Assassins" and level 90+. While she isn't able to be a one man army, she has all the necessary abilities to outright murder or maim individuals or small groups with sudden sneak attacks performed via her ability to cloak both visibility and presence as well as high burst damaging skills that targets the vitals with her knives either by melee or throwing them from afar. She has superhuman agility, allowing her to speed around the battlefield like a ghost and casually jump about like an anime ninja can. Akatsuki also possesses other ninja like abilities such as Shadow Clones (though they're the after image variety and not solid clones) and shadow-stitching, where she can stop an opponent in place for a few seconds by planting weapons in their shadows. And with her sub-class of Tracker, she can easily trail after people from a far distance by turning their footprints and other such signs visible to her vision as well as well as supplementing her natural Assassin stealth abilities.
  • Backstory: Akatsuki was first introduced as a man due to being flung into the world while playing as a male player character. After Shiroe gave her a potion that returned her into her much more comfortable female body, Akatsuki then decided to repay him by following around and being his bodyguard and "vassal". After various adventures with her "lord", Akatsuki is now a member of Shiroe's Log Horizon guild and helps the veterans manage the lower level newcomers as well as perform reconnaissance or monster subjugation missions along with the higher leveled people.

  • Name: Naotsugu
  • Age: 25
  • Appearance: "The answer to happiness are women's panties!"
  • Personality: Naotsugu is a cheerful sort of fellow that gives energy just with his mere presence. A natural joker, he often tries to make serious situation less so by snarking... or talking about panties, which will get him kneed by Akatsuki. Despite his happy-go-lucky attitude, Naotsugu is often times more perceptive than he appears and holds the role of "big brother figure" to the youngsters in the Log Horizon group and guild alliances.
  • Powers: Naostugu is big and sturdy, courtesy of his Level 90+Guardian class. Having a robust and physical powerful body full of vigor and endurance, the man is dependable and steadfast. His defense is so strong that if an ordinary person tries to poke out his eyes with their fingers, it'd cause damage to their own hand and not his ocular orbs. Equipped with an encompassing full body plate mail armor and tower shield forged of super hard ingredients, the man is a living fortress that walks around the battlefield taking hits for his more squishy fellows while dealing out respectable damage himself with his one handed sword. Naotsugu's skills even attract hostility towards him and in one case, makes it so NOT attacking him would give him an attack that is many times stronger than his ordinary output. Along with his Border Patrol subclass, his attack and defense goes up when he's defending a certain point from enemy attack without retreating, giving him ridiculous staying ability.
  • Backstory:

  • Name: Nyanta
  • Age: In his thirties.
  • Appearance: Nyaaa~
  • Personality: Everyone's fun uncle character who is steadfast and reliable, but in a different way from Naostugu. He is mature and suave, with a mild attitude that makes it easy to relate to many people. Calm and unruffled even in combat situations, Nyanta's one cool cat. Often times, he'll even crack jokes to agitate the opponent so they leave openings.
  • Powers: Nyanta is a level 90+ Duelist, and thus he is adroit and agile with the ability to dualwield rapiers with pinpoint accuracy. Along with his racial attribute of being a Werecat, Nyanta is very flexible and speedy and thus hard to hit even in the best of situations. Along with the Duelist having side effects to just piercing people with swords such as leaving behind poisons or explosions, one has to be careful when engaging the dapper Werecat in close combat. With his Chef Subclass, Nyanta can make delicious foods in any situation since he can use any ingredient at hand, making him highly respected among the group.
  • Backstory: One of Shiroe and Naotsugu's close friends from their Debauchery Tea Party days, Nyanta is a long time veteran of Elder Tales. He was the first person to bypass the "all food tastes horrible" event that was sapping people's will to live in the new video game turned reality and thus the answer to problem as well. After solving that dilemma with Shiroe, he joined up with Log Horizon and helped manage the guild as the resident cook.

Chunk
  • Name of the World: The City of Akihabara (usually shortened to Akiba), Yamato Server, Thedelsia.
  • Description: Akiba is basically the in-game hub representation of the real life modern city of the Akihabara district of Tokyo. Its appearance is that of a verdantly overgrown version of a deserted Akihabara complete with skyscrapers and all, though the new residents living there has spruced it up to so that it now no longer looks abandoned and close to how it looks in real life... though everything is still green and it's full of fantasy looking characters. View of it from another angle.
  • Contents: Akiba's chock full of game like buildings such as the Cathedral (where dead Adventurers respawn after losing a percentage of their overall experience after being killed), the Bank (where one can store their gold and items), and Guild Meeting Hall (which is a giant fortress like structure where Guild members can rent out rooms and decorate it as they please). There is also a booming market place, tons of empty skyscrapers converted into new homes, and even a forest chock full of high level monsters 40 minutes away by foot. The city is guarded by a massive encircling gate to keep the riffraff out, and if that doesn't work, then the Adventurers are always looking for experience to farm.
  • Specialties: Akiba's special rule is that it behaves much as if one is in an MMO video game, which party chat, floating menu text boxes, levels and so on. Another important rule is that if Adventurers die, then they can revive in exchange for experience loss (which makes them weaker overall) as well as losing a small fragment of their memories. Besides this, there are also Landers (which are also called People of the Land basically native inhabitants that can only die once and gain levels 4 times as slowly). Levels gives people more attributes, with half the Adventurer population being in the 90s and with the average Landers being from 1-30 at the most. Recently, Akiba is a booming center of trade and magitek, the latter made with fantasy materials and modern day knowledge. So far metal boats and magic trains have been made as well as radios and memory crystals among the big re-inventions with plenty of smaller ones that make living so much easier (toiletries and so on). Some monsters can be farmed, there is fertile land for crops, and the place is a haven for foodies due to the many many restaurants and food stalls installed all about.
  • Population: Akiba has a fixed base population of 20,000 with a ratio of 15,000 Adventurers and 5,000 Landers, with assorted fantasy races thrown into the mix such as elves, dwarves, werecats, and so on. Given the fact that Adventurers are all combat capable to a certain degree (though only a portion have the mentality to be able to fight real battles) and the fact that depending on their Classes can perform different roles such as Assassins being wall sentries and Guardians being the frontline against monster attacks, Akiba is well defended even without formal dedicated town guards.

Iris: It's pretty reasonable for her teleporting and not be able to use it very frequently or when she has to attack. No problem.

Eifer: The altering locations thing is more like she can control where they'll strike instead of teleporting, it's more like a more specific kinda of telekinesis. For her power she uses mainly plants but I figure she could use things like sand or rocks if the situation calls for it, like turning a nearby rock's form into a small spike and firing it at the opponent. She can't attack while intangible and we can go with her having to wait a bit before using it again. As for duration, probably no more than 5 seconds.

Letch and Rink: What I meant is that they move by levitating around without doing any sort of motion with their bodies. Basically they're lazy tongue

I was thinking of giving this group a chunk, but the game they come from doesn't give me much to go with.

SR3NORMANDY Problem Child from N/A - In constant flux Since: Jul, 2012
Problem Child
#11: Aug 8th 2015 at 10:08:04 PM

  • Main Character

    • Name: Optimus Prime

    • Age: Approximately two thousand years old.

    • Appearance: Here.

    • Personality: Focused and determined, Optimus is a natural leader. Whatever role he is given, no matter how mundane, he takes to it with dedication. Unlike many other Autobots of modern Cybertron, he is inquisitive and open-minded. He is the most skilled fighter of his small crew of misfits, though he will always strive to avoid taking lives, transformer or organic. He is, in short, exactly who the Autobots need to get them out of this fix.

    • Powers: All Cybertronians are capable of transformation, going from the form of a robot to a vehicle. Prime transforms into a Cybertronian fire-truck.

    • Equipment: Optimus Prime is armed with all manner of tools, including an and jet-propelled fire-axe, foam extinguishers, grappling hooks and bola launchers. While he is primarily a rescue vehicle, Optimus is quite creative in applying these tools to combat, though he will never put them to lethal use.

    • Backstory: Optimus was a high-achieving Autobot Academy cadet, before an unfortunate series of events lead to the loss of one of his fellow cadets and his expulsion. However the leader of the Autobots, Ultra Magnus, granted one last favour for old time’s sake and placed him in command of a small crew of maintenance bots, as well as the rank of Prime.

  • Supporting Cast

    • Name: Bumblebee

    • Age: Approximately one thousand years old.

    • Appearance: Here.

    • Personality: Excitable, energetic and more than a little self-obsessed, Bumblebee can be a handful. While he is distractible, short-sighted and has some issues with authority, the little guy has a tender heart, and will always try to do the right thing.

    • Powers: Bumblebee’s only significant tools are a pair of “stingers”, built into his hands. These stingers fire a non-lethal shock, and he has notoriously poor aim with them regardless. He transforms into a small Cybertronian car.

    • Backstory: Kicked from boot-camp, and with nowhere else to go, Bumblebee and his partner Bulkhead were resigned to labour duties as maintenance personnel, under the Elite Guard washout Optimus Prime.

    • Name: Bulkhead

    • Age: Approximately one thousand years old.

    • Appearance: Here.

    • Personality: Though rather blunt, slow and clumsy, Bulkhead is enormously friendly, creative and an accomplished space bridge technician. He would rather be recognised for his expertise, rather than his more obvious size or strength.

    • Powers: Bulkhead has a pair of wrecking balls built into his arms, though he sees them more as tools than as weapons. He transforms into a Cybertronian armoured truck.

    • Backstory: Like Bumblebee, he washed out of military training and was assigned to labour duties. Unlike Bumblebee, he is rather happy with this arrangement, and is perhaps the only member of the crew who is.

    • Name: Ratchet

    • Age: Around 4 million years old.

    • Appearance: Here.

    • Personality: Cranky, bitter, get off my cyberlawn type. By far the oldest of the Autobot crew, he served in the Great War as a field medic, before it came to a close. Shellshocked and driven slightly mad by the naive Optimus’s fascination with the conflict, he is one tough nut.

    • Powers: Ratchet has electromagnets built into his arms, primarily using them for heavy lifting or rescue efforts. He transforms into a Cybertronian ambulance.

    • Backstory: Ratchet has seen the most action of any other Autobot on the crew, and has seen enough dead and dying Cybertronians to leave him a bitter shell. He was responsible for the operation of the equivalent of “Project Manhattan” for the Great War, serving as the reluctant handler of the war machine Omega Supreme.

    • Name: Prowl

    • Age: Around 1 million years old.

    • Appearance: Here.

    • Personality: Quiet, distant and icy, the self-reliant Prowl has the most difficulty working with a team. Despite his exterior, he is an intensely thoughtful Autobot, and perhaps holds the most respect for life in all of its forms. His insight will prove invaluable if the Autobots are to understand their new world.

    • Powers: A cyberninja apprentice, Prowl is equipped with a hologram projector and a pair of shruiken. He transforms into a Cybertronian motorcycle.

    • Backstory: Prowl was originally a draft-dodger in the great war, but fell into the apprenticeship of Yoketron, a Cyberninja master who trained him in his ways. However, tragedy struck and Prowl was left without a master, and without direction. He is no labourer, and is merely a tag-along to the maintenance crew, trying to rediscover himself on a spirit-quest.

  • Chunk

    • Name of the World: Iacon

    • Description: A significant chunk of the Autobot Capital was torn from the world of Cybertron and deposited upon a new world, leaving its leadership and residents in a state of panic and discord. The city is made of metal, circuitry and not even a microbe of organic life, though that could soon change. The city is the culmination of millions of years of post-war reconstruction, and stands as a shining example of Cybertronian engineering and culture.

    • Contents: The fraction of Iacon that was relocated is dominated by the Metroplex, the headquarters of Autobot Command. Once a fortress, its gunnery lies inert and the terrible weapons of mass destruction it once housed are sealed away. Several surrounding Autobot businesses and residences were also brought with the Metroplex, as were some historic buildings such as the Hall of Records, along with the vital Space Bridge Nexus. Here's a general map for those interested.

    • Specialties: The Autobot technology on Cybertron is incredibly advanced, from supercomputers millions of years ahead of modern earth to the ability to travel enormous distances thanks to their development of the Space Bridge relays, allowing two points in space to be briefly linked together by a narrow corridor of subspace. Though the spaceport was not brought to the new world along with Iacon, the few starships the Autobots have access to are incredibly advanced. The greatest problem Autobots will face will be the energy crisis. Without Cybertron’s supply of energon, the Autobots will need to scour the globe for resources to power their way of life.

    • Population: The Autobots have enjoyed millions of years of peace since the end of the Great War, and are largely demilitarised. Most simply wish to live out their long lives in peace, pursuing advanced sciences and mathematics, feats of spectacular architecture and technology and the occasional bad piece of poetry. The old military has been largely disbanded, and the protection of the Autobots falls to the Elite Guard, a small, select few Autobot warriors. Autobots are largely free-spirited, and plenty are curious about the new world they find themselves in. Some would even go so far as to start new lives in the neighbouring chunks, becoming robots in disguise. Others, however, are convinced by Autobot propaganda to consider organic life to be toxic, and push for isolationist policy. With the current crisis, the Autobot leadership is paralysed with indecision, leaving it up to five unlikely maintenance workers to sort this mess out.

What if there’s no better word than just not saying anything?

Or take the whole tower as a Chunk? Does your group have to be the leaders of there chunk?

[up]They do not. The Transformers chunk, for instance has Optimus Prime as the 'chunk leader' while another robot is officially in charge. I'm going with the explanation that the local god that caused this can identify who would best represent their chosen chunk, which is not always the guy with the big title, particularly if they just sit around and don't do much. and as for Chunk VS chunkless, that's up to you, do what you prefer.

#15: Aug 8th 2015 at 11:30:33 PM

  • Main Character
    • Name: Bowser
    • Age: Around 30
    • Appearance: He stands about 9 feet tall, by the by.
    • Personality: Abrasive, selfish, loud, and mean. Bowser takes what he wants, punches what he doesn't want, and brags about how evil he is. Despite this, he is a supportive father, charismatic leader, and has even helped his arch-rival save the world. Also has a soft spot for blondes and pink dresses.
    • Powers:
      • 'Body: Superhuman strength that shakes the earth, breathing fire so hot that it burns underwater, and a nearly indestructible armored shell. Bowser can tuck his limbs into his shell and spin it to smash into stuff.
      • Dark magic: He can teleport short distances (has about a one minute cooldown), conjure throwing hammers, grow larger for a fight or turn people into bricks (though this takes a bit of preparation, and as such isn't really useful in combat).
      • Hard-to-destroy reptle: Presumably due to some of his aforementioned dark magic, Bowser can keep fighting even if he's reduced to a skeleton. Combined with the healing magic that his magikoopas know, it is very difficult to kill him.
    • Equipment: His spiked armbands.
    • Backstory: Born royalty, Bowser was raised to take the Koopa throne. From infancy he was rival to the legendary Mario, but has never beaten him. As an adult, he has kidnapped Princess Peach time and time again, and each time managed to get himself dropped into lava, kicked into a black hole, blown up, or otherwise beaten into submission. But his tenacity is endless, so Bowser will keep on fighting until the end of time if he has to. Or until Nintendo declares bankruptcy.
  • Supporting Cast
    • Name: Kamek
    • Age: Many centuries
    • Appearance: Presumably has a shell under that robe.
    • Personality: Devoted to the Koopa King, though intelligent and free-thinking, Kamek thinks of Bowser like a son. He is patient with the Koopalings and Junior, if a bit snarky.
    • Powers: Kamek's magical powers include flight with his broom, magical energy blasts, fireballs, and making things - namely troops and at times Bowser himself - absolutely enormous. He's also really skilled at building and reverse-engineering machines - cannons, airships, and the famous clown cars. And a time machine once, though he doesn't have the materials to do that again.
    • Equipment: His broomstick and magic scepter.
    • Backstory: Kamek raised Bowser from childhood, acting as his father figure. He now takes care of Junior and the Koopalings, when he's not leading the magikoopa legions.
    • Name: Bowser Jr.
    • Age: Around 10
    • Appearance: Those of the royal lineage are distinguished by having spiked shells.
    • Personality: He wants nothing more than to please his father, and prove himself to his siblings. He's a fiery kid, and like his father is brash and reckless, though much less mature.
    • Powers: Despite being around three feet tall, he's as strong as a human adult. He has fire breath and a spiky shell like his father, and similar tenacity, surviving a castle collapsing on him more than once.
    • Equipment: His bandanna that can disguise him as Shadow Mario, and a paintbrush with an endless supply of paint. The paint it leaves spawns gooey monsters that obey Junior's orders, though they can be defeated with just water.
    • Backstory: The crown prince of Koopas, son of Bowser. No one knows who his mother is, but this doesn't bother him. His first fight with Mario was on Isle Delfino, where he kidnapped Peach to join his family vacation. He and his father were defeated, but since then he's continued to be a thorn in Mario's side.
    • Name: The Koopalings
    • Age: Early teens
    • Appearance: Clockwise from lower left: Larry, Roy, Iggy, Lemmy, Morton, Wendy O. and Ludwig von Koopa
    • Personality: A septet of rambunctious, wild teenagers. They vie for Bowser's attention, annoy Kamek, and generally look down on Junior; they think Junior receives undue favoritism from dad. Each has some quirk, though they are very obviously siblings, judging from their constant infighting. Which is probably why they rule in different castles.
    • Powers: They all have some magical talent, being able to fire energy blasts. Each has slightly superhuman strength, fire breath, and the Royal Koopas incredible durability.
    • Equipment: A magic scepter for each. Also known to use clown cars at times, which houses boxing gloves, blades, a cannon, exploding mechakoopas, and some other nasty surprises.
    • Backstory: Ostensibly Bowser's children, their actual relationship to him is unknown - he 'adopted' them, unsure if he was their father. Bowser treats them like sons (and daughter) nonetheless, and Kamek keeps them in line. They often help fight Mario, trying to outdo eachother by building increasingly elaborate castles.
  • Chunk
    • Name of the World: The Koopa Kingdom
    • Description: A volcanic wasteland, comprised mostly of mountains, rocks and lava. It is treacherous and dangerous, though the natives have no problem navigating it. Fortresses, towers, and castles dot it. New lava flows are known to erupt like geysers on occasion.
    • Contents/Locations: There are eight fortresses that belong to the Koopalings and Junior, on the path to Bowser's main castle. Bowser's Castle is protected on three sides by a mountain range, and sits above a lake of lava.
    • Specialties: Volcanic ash perpetually clouds the skies, making it very dark there and unsuitable for crops.
    • Population: While the main citizens are the Koopas, bipedal turtles of many shell colors and varieties - magical Magikoopas, hammer tossing Hammer Bros, winged Paratroopas, and skeletal Dry Bones - many species pledge loyalty to Bowser. There are armless, mushroom-like Goombas, ghostly Boos, the highly organized Shy Guys, metal Chain Chomps, biting Piranha Plants and crushing Thwomps. The kingdom is highly militaristic, as nearly every creature there fights in Bowser's army. In exchange, they receive free homes and food.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

[up]Alright, nothing major jumps out at me as a problem. We're kinda pushing the number of supporting characters if we count each Koopa Kid as an individual character, however. Could you define what "Slightly Superhuman Strength" is? I need to get an idea of exactly how strong a single Koopa Kid is before I make further determinations regarding them.

The Koopalings look like they would work well as Elite Mooks so grouping them together is appropriate I'd say. A lot of times the Koopalings just act as Bowser Jr's minions as well.

Also,

Also has a soft spot for blondes and pink dresses.

Oh my.

I'm not entirely sure of the etiquette around here concerning such things, and please forgive me if I'm commiting some sort of faux pas, but I wish to express interest in this.

Also, what is the policy for characters from games with high degrees of character customization (e.g. Fallout, Elder Scrolls, Saints Row, Dragon Age)? Could I just pick and choose my character's skill set and appearance?

[up]Well, I've already told someone else they can make a signup using Destiny characters, so I suppose I can't realistically object to you making a signup with a PC from those sorts of things. Anyway, ya, you can pick the look, skills, and basic personality they'll have, but you'll of course be bound to only skills available to you in said game of origin, and you'll have to make sure your personality makes sense given the context of the game.

@Meanken: Basically, put a Koopaling in an arm wrestling contest with a professional weightlifter, and they'd win. Also, they basically are interchangeable, which is why I lumped them all together.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

[up]Ok then. Considering the interchangeable nature of the Koopa Kids and the fact that they basically serve the role of Elite Mooks, I'll allow them all in. So, with that, you are accepted.

Main Character

Name: Locke Lamora

Age: 22

Appearance: http://kejablank.deviantart.com/art/Locke-Lamora-471684513

Personality: As charming as he is dangerous, and as good an actor as a thief, this conman would die for his friends, the only moral compass he has ever had.

Powers: None, but his sharp tongue and his enchanted hand.

Equipment: When he lost his hand in an incident he does not want to talk about, it was replaced by an artifact he long ago stumbled upon, Aquaman's pre-Waterbearer hook, that looks like a regular metal hand but can turn into a blade, a drill and a grappling hook. Locke, of course, does not know the origins of the hand.

Backstory: I don't like to talk about it

So is it allowed to have NP Cs as non-GM? I'd love a revisioned version of the Freelancer crew from Rv B as mercenaries that Locke has hired in the past. My idea for Locke is that he is Baron's adviser in one chunk, yet wanted in the other.

[up]So, the way it works is that you'll have control over your chosen character and anyone else who resides in your chossen chunk, if you're going with a chunk. Otherwise, it'll just be your character and his supporting cast. However, I must ask that you copy the complete format above, and attempt to make it a bit more readable. If you're new to TV tropes, you can find a nice text formatting guide here
