Opened.
Looks good to me.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportI think it looks a little too neat for the purpose of showing some kind of food normally not meant for humans you eat because you can't afford better.
Check out my fanfiction! The dishes are too nice to be for a poor person. It looks more like a dog is being treated well.
Not exactly dog food, mind you.

As long as that fits the trope, I'm good with it.
Since I know that Spongebob has a pet snail, I can see that fits the trope.
I'm just worried that unless you know that detail, it looks like he's eating escargot from a can, or something like that.
Absent-minded professor and Neverwinter Nights DMAnother suggestion: Lister eating dog food◊ in the episode "Marooned" (Red Dwarf).
It's a small pic, but the dog is visible on the can. Lister's wearing an anorak, which implies he's in a bad situation. He must eat it to stay alive (though he chose it over pot noodles).

That's the clearest so far.
Could you cut the guy in the background? Otherwise it's fine.
Well, Rimmer's reaction sort of sells it there.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Could be used for a funny caption, yes.
I think that grimace sells the image. "That's not for human consumption."
Check out my fanfiction!Agreed, Rimmer's look really sells it.
Yep, best to use the Red Dwarf one.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportRed Dwarf.
(Annoyed grunt)I think that picture's ready for some fun, fun, fun in the sun, sun, sun.

Moon◊The Red Dwarf image was the first thing I thought of when I saw the trope, so a thumbs up from me.
Reaction Image RepositoryGood enough; it's up and tagged. Caption or no?
Something about smegheads?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!""Still better than pot noodles"
^ That'll work.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Sure.
Check out my fanfiction!
An image like this◊ should get the trope across with a bit of humor.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"
