It not working for anyone.
Why is Cruella with these people, again.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’You have to put the whole address in, http:// and www. included.
Trump delenda estNo, you don't.
Because she's fabulous? XD
Seriously, though, I don't think it's a coincidence that the main villains they chose happen to also be leads or have major arcs in Once Upon a Time (or Once Upon A Time In Wonderland in Jafar's case). Though that does make things a little more amusing considering Cruella was a homicidal sociopath who killed her mother and skinned her dalmations for the lulz in Once.
"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Which is why my link didn't work right?
That aside anyone else think King Beast is a dick? And aside from the main baddies most of the people on the Island of the Lost seem pretty...ordinary,just regular proles doing as best they can.

Trump delenda estI was trying to embed the video. It's the embed function that's not working.
I'm just distracting by the weird mash of modern tech and magic and the song and dance shtick.
It's not a new idea to have the heroes be dicks to varying degrees. I was assuming that the Beast and Belle would be the dicks of the movie - the whole "you can't change bad guys" thing. And of course Belle's actress has played a jerkass hero before in the Blue Fairy. Though I think that was less intentional on the part of the writers.
The aesthetic is growing on me though. This is definitely for the tween crowd though, Cheno or no Cheno.

"If I reach for the stars, you can't hold me back"Actually Belle seems okay. Note she approved what her son did. Of course he may have an element of Stupid Good in his nature. That has yet to be seen.
Trump delenda estSo, here is a list of articles of the universal declaration of human rights that good old King Beast might not be violating. I was originally counting violations, but it turned out to be faster this way: 1 , 4 , 6 , 12 , 14, 15, 16, 17,18,23,24,26. 12 out of 30 isn't bad, right ? This is giving the Aurodon regime the most benefit of the doubt possible, I think.
Somehow I doubt the sequel will involve UN sanctions though.Probably more like "Mal is now Mistress of All Evil, because betraying your mother out of self interest at the same time you defeat the Mistress of All Evil makes you the new Mistress of All Evil"
Also I was highly disappointed by the lack of Snow White -Evie interaction. Guess it would have got in the way of the Mal show.
So, I'd heard about tis sometime last year or earlier and promptly forgot about it until I opened up my local TV guide paper only to discover that the cover story was this TV movie, premiering next Fiday.
Here's an extended trailer:

I don't know what's weirder, Kristin Chenoweth as Maleficent, the weird candy steampunk aesthetic, or an actress from Once Upon a Time(Disney's OTHER multi-character AU) playing Belle (seriously it's the Blue friggin' fairy)XD
Anyone know why my embed isn't working?
