It is very definitely bad. And very hilarious.
As one who is only passingly familiar with the Mario franchise of games, I must admit that I rather enjoyed myself with it.

Okay, so there are a lot of Super Mario fanfics, and they really don't get enough credit- Like 'Waluigi the Master Thief' by No Longer Alive Hearts, Or Child at Heart Forever's 'Paper Mario X' series. anyways, I think we should 'gather the tropes' for mario fanfiction.
