I literally said to my dad that I wouldn't even be into video games if it weren't for Iwata.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!A few pages late, but I feel the need to mention that this was briefly mentioned on one of the local news stations this morning. So whoever was wondering if mainstream news brought it up, I'm assuming some of the bigger ones did too.
I just made a contribution to his Awesome page, stating how he is essentially responsible for creating gamers.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!CNN and BBC at least had stories about it on their websites.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. The Guardian did too, on the front page and everything. And it was top-page headline news on Buzzfeed yesterday as well.

Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here.Satoru Iwata's page also needs to be fixed. Trope lists on creators are only meant to have either tropes regarding stuff that usually shows up on the person's work, or tropes explicitly about creators like One Of Us. We're not meant to "trope" real people's lives, so stuff like Benevolent Boss needs to be cut.

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Maybe cut and paste the contents to Nintendo's page instead?
I'm pretty sure a company still counts as a Real Life person for troping purposes
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?We could try to integrate some of the information below into his description without using the trope names themselves.

Call me Willy Whistle 'cause I can't speak, baby. Something in TV Tropes really drove me crazy.I personally would like to keep all the things listed on the Awesome Page. Those are some pretty awesome accomplishments.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!...Wait, why don't we already have a page for Iwata Asks?
Speaking of which, now that Iwata's gone, will they continue it as, say, "Miyamoto Asks"?
'Miyamoto mentions'.most likely name change.
New theme music also a boxWhy does it need to be alliterative? Iwata Asks wasn't.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Regardless, Miyamoto Mentions really rolls off the tongue.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"I and A are both vowels.
Japanese name for Iwata Asks is "Sachou wa Kiku" or something, meaning "The President Asks", basically. So the Japanese name for the series may continue while remaining the same.
Helpful Scripts and Stylesheets here. You know what was probably the hard part is looking back in hindsight the fact the 2015 E3 thingy was done with puppets probably in order to not show Iwata in a really bad state of health and even if his kind of cancer is detected early it's still has a pretty grim odds as when that part of the body gets messed up it stops proper digestive tract function and tends to lead to death by starvation and other unpleasantness.
it's still very sad for gaming as we have lost one of of it's greats and almost all the word i've heard about him is not only was he not willing to lay off people but also most of the people who talked about him talk about him as being a pretty fun guy to be around.
RIP Iwata-san you gave a generation fun times and you will be missed.

I find it so beautiful that the whole industry put differences aside just for one day to pay their respects. It's seriously the most heartwarming thing I've ever seen (not just as a gamer).
Your works are one trope short.
I'm...so...sad...
WHY?!?! WHY DOES HE HAVE TO DIE? (;____;) (cries for a really, really long time)
I'm...not *sob* being sarcastic...this is actually true...I'm crying.
The worst part? The "I'm a tumor" joke in Family Guy makes this a whole lot harsher. I'm not causing an uproar, it's just that now Iwata died of a tumor, this joke isn't funny to Nintendo fans anymore.
R.I.P. Iwata. He was directly to us, and he was pleased to understand our kindness to him. May his gaming heart live on in many gaming hearts. Thank you.
