That's not the trope, although I'm not sure that it could be pic'd adequately unless there's something in the webcomic list that notes it.
This OOTS was on the page - you could use the end of the second row and the start of the third, maybe?
OH MY GOD; MY PARENTS ARE GARDENIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!The OOTS suggestion could work. I understand that Scooby Doo isn't an example of the trope, I offered is a suggestion because technically, the "monster" was really a human, and because it would be funny. I think people would get the joke. Is that an acceptable reason to use it as an image? Seriously, I'm not sure, that's why I put it up here.
The problem with jokey pics is that, if the joke isn't obvious, it can lead people to misinterpret the trope as what the pic is trying to say instead of what the trope actually is, which is the downfall of the Scooby pic. Sometimes for a trope like Flying Brick, a joke pic is all we can do because the trope doesn't lend itself to a good pictorial representation, but it should be avoided unless the pic is both funny and properly represents the trope.
See, as far as jokey images go, I was thinking a bunch of cartoon animals running toward the screen in sheer terror from a milquetoast, necktie-wearing dude, who's just kinda casually standing there and waving "hi".
That'd be something that'd have to be drawn specifically for the page, though, because GIS doesn't return much good for "animals fleeing".
Moon◊Touche, Willbyr.
Maybe what we could do is use a picture of some average guy in a tie with a caption underneath saying "the real face of evil"
I may be cute and fluffy, but I could fluff you to death and you wouldn't even know itClock is set.
The closest I can think of is a group of human scientists experimenting on a captured alien. Something like this◊, but in reverse.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The clock's up and we don't have consensus on anything; locking up.
I think we should use a picture of the Scooby gang unmasking a villain. It would be both funny and applicable.
