The first Daenerys pic is really good and resizes well with some cropping, but if someone could brighten it up a bit, that would help it a lot.

Sure, it's less "monstrosity" but more obvious on the "pet" part of the trope, and I'd argue that regardless of size, having a dragon as a pet qualifies.

I like that pic, too.
(Originally I wanted to find a pic of the Stark chidren and their dire wolves, but they mostly looked too cute and not monstrous enough.)
Though I think when the dragon had his head on her lap and lets himself to be petted, it shows quite a lot of the "pet" part. :-)
Or is it really not clear enough what is on the pic, perhaps to people who don't watch the show?
