Do they even play non-indie non-post grunge on the radio? Literally the only time I've ever heard anything I'd consider "modern" was when I was traveling though Philadelphia and they were playing The Wonder Years on the radio.
Used to, stopped because rock radio hasn't evolved since 2005. Hell, the rock station around here just became Classic Rock + The Black Keys.
"I could eat a knob at night" - Karl PilkingtonI do sometimes. I used to a lot more, since my best friend used to always put on Philly's alternative rock station whenever we were in the car together, but he's since moved away, so I don't listen to it as much.
Insert witty 'n clever quip here.I'll occasionally check out the Octane station on Sirius XM, but thats it for the most part (the only radio i listen to now are either internet stations via Live 365 and Tune In Radio, or the aforementioned satelite radio).
I just got back into listening to metal, only to find that all the local stations stopped playing modern hard rock in 2009. However, the local alternative station has an HD subchannel that plays mainstream rock hits.

Amazing discovery
I did for a time. I discovered Rise Against that way.
I'm not so sure I should continue though. Nothing is really catching my attention.
