There's a "glitch" in space and time. Unstable temporal and spatial energies were threatening to screw up the arena (as in trigger the event).
It was stable enough to not (trigger the event), until a series of events caused it to (trigger the event), including
Shadow's Enemy Without.
Supernovas.
Dark matter.
Mischievous cosmic beings.
And quantum fluctations.
So, Shadow's Enemy Without could be in that position, where he manipulates it to help trigger the event. Sound good, Sacred?

Sounds alright. Sounds like something the EW would do, given he is a Mischievous Cosmic Being. He's a bit of a troll, like Vezon, but, under all that, he'll do whatever he can to see Shadow really suffer. Could I bring in occasional waves of enemies and perhaps a Boss or two? Shadow and Co. would be helping against them, of course.

Well, I'd like the event to last at least a couple of days, but it shouldn't last too long. I'm planning on bringing in a Sage Mode Sasuke.
...To be honest, that kind of shenanigans would probably end up giving Dark Engie a whirl again. Although using him as a blob monster seems to have made him unpopular, so that'll change.

Dark Engie would work as a boss battle, the problem was maybe because he was more like a force of nature than a true boss, what's with tanking an Arcane blast and RSM Rasen-shuriken with a scrap (he had an aura but still) and all.
That said, in the last fight he was in, I think he got his ass kicked, so I dunno.

He got burnt into leaving. Although, honestly, the liquid body gimmick seriously fucks over physical damage dealers.

No, I'm half sure that the respawn system only deals with death. I mean, the physiology of the MS Sharingan is built to go blind from using it too much, so she'll probably need a transplant.

Ok. The Enemy Without is formed from Shadow's regrets, fears, and depression. And wants nothing more than to crew with him for eternity. He's completely insane, and he's an incredibly powerful Reality-Warping Eldritch Abomination, but he's not on the same Divine level as an Aspect of Unity, like Shadow. His default form is a mass of tendrils coming off a series of runes and designs including a broken heart, and a single crying eye, but he can pull himself into a humanoid form, and he may have other tricks... Also, he's a coward. He'll tend to hide behind minions and monsters.
