Enter the Arena As Your Avatar... V5 (Continuing off Knowless')

(Hello?....)

(Man this place is kinda dead, of course mine is as well so i cant talk much)

-There's a cute girl with an oversized shield◊ wandering around the shore-

An ominous, crackling white portal with pink runes circling it starts to open nearby.

"Hm?"

-The girl, noticing the portal, approaches it with her shield readied-

This regal-looking young woman◊ comes striding out of it, with the grandiose, indisputable, indomitable bearing of nobility. She's not, actually, but that's the air she gives off. She speaks calmly and unemotionally, an odd reverb to her voice.

   Mission objective: Subdue and defeat all local targets. Everyone present is to be considered hostile.    A pair of oval-shaped Devices in her palms light up, and transform into the glowing forms of the weapons shown in her avatar and the pic. Balls of light start to form in the air around her.

Sorry that took a while. I'll try to post more quick.

"An enemy, huh. I can't fight at my full potential without Master, but-"

-The servant takes fighting stance and raises her shield, beckoning the other girl to attack first-

"-I still have to do my best."

There is a flicker of... something in the woman's eye, but it's quickly replaced with a calm, cold gaze. She swings one of the tech-wand weapons at the Servant, and the energy balls would try to bombard her. They seem to be deliberately targeted at her shield, as though testing its resilience.

-The shield absorbs damage from the energy balls without a scratch. There's trace amount of magic from the shield, indicating it is magically reinforced-

-The Servant then breaks into a dash, faster than a regular human can possibly do, intending to ram her humongous shield into the woman-

...hm. Magically reinforced. Seems I'll have to get around it. She spins gracefully away from the shield-ram at close to the last second, one of her wand weapons transforming, her grip on it shifting...

   Piercer Mode.    The wand finishes transforming, now shaped like a high-tech looking railgun-rifle. Which is pointed straight at the Servant's side or back, at near point blank range. Pink Instant Runes appear around its muzzle.

   Concussion Shot.    The rifle fires off a rather large ball of pink-white energy, which despite the weapon-transformation's name, would not have much bite or armour-piercing potential to it. Rather, it would have a large amount of knockback, enough to send the Servant flying at least a moderate distance.

"Wha-"

-True enough, the shot connects and throws her into the air. A similar magical trace appears where the shot hits-

Tch. Shouldn't let that happen again.

-The servant recovers in mid-air and lands gracefully. Then, she dashes towards the woman again and stops just in front of her-

-Shielder swings her shield at the woman, trying to slash her with the flat protrusion of her weapon. Despite her build and its bulk, the way she swings it is more akin to an experienced knight with a longsword-

After firing off the specialized bolt, the railgun-rifle splits open, venting pink smoke and excess heat. Omega goes to block the shield-swing with her wand, but the larger weapon coupled with her specialty not exactly being melee means she can only hold it off for a while, pink-white energy crackling at the point of impact, apparently reinforcing the tech-wand. She then spins away, elegantly moving with the momentum from the broken clash... and as her rail-rifle reassembles itself, apparently cooled off sufficiently, she fires off another similar knockback-ball, although not quite as strong.

-This time Shielder brings her weapon up in time, deflecting the shot into a nearby house-

"Haaaa!"

-The servant then leaps into the air, aided with her increased agility, and brings down her shield towards the woman in a kind of a plunging stab. A very telegraphed attack, but no doubt much more powerful than her previous slashes-

Omega leaps away backwards, narrowly avoiding the plunging stab, and swipes her remaining wand at Shielder, sending another small swarm of light orbs at her. These ones, however, avoid her shield, instead aiming to hit her from the sides.

-The Servant swipes her shield to deflect the orbs away, but she only bats away the ones coming from her right. Now that she's exposed, the rest hit her from her other side-

-What she does next is to concentrate her Mana Defense into her left flank. Coupled with her passive Magic Resistance, the damage is significantly reduced-

-Shielder then closes the gap again. This time, she focuses on delivering as many slashes as possible, power and accuracy be damned. This is mostly to pressure her opponent to (hopefully) break her guard-

Thanks to being being attacked just as she's landed, Omega's defence is a little less cool and disciplined than usual. She efficiently blocks most of the attacks with her magically reinforced wand, but a few get through, slicing gashes into her Barrier Jacket and skin. Oddly, grey-white liquid dribbles from them rather than blood. Also, a growing aura of white energy forms around her as she is attacked, and as the Servant's attacks wind down, Omega lashes at her with her wand, the aura bursting with energy, sending out a shockwave of white light and force that's wider than her body.

-Shielder stabs her shield to the ground as an anchor and hides behind it, nullifying the shockwave-

-She then takes a different stance, lowering her body like she's is about to dash and with her shield pointed at the woman-

-The servant takes several moment to focus mana to her legs and shield-arm. Then, in an explosive burst of action, she springs into a lunging stab far faster than her previous shield bash, carrying even more power in the strike-

Got something to do. Will be off for 15-20 minutes.

Omega goes to dodge... too early, probably allowing the Servant to correct her attack, and she blinks in surprise and frowns, obviously unhappy with her mistake. She points her Piercer rifle at the ground near Shielder's feet - or where they will be as she lunges - and in the blink of an eye, another Seal forms, indicating another Concussion Shot, the ball of concussive energy fired as soon as Shielder moves in an attempt to foul Shielder's attack with the knockback from beneath, most likely sending her flying over Omega.

-Shielder focused way too hard on her attack that she doesn't notice the shot until it's too late. The concussive force sends her flying again. She has to stab her shield into the ground to stop herself-

-Taking a deep breath, she gets up and faces the woman-

"...Mind if I ask about your purpose here? Why do you want to fight me?"

   It is a test. A trial.    Her wand reforms as they speak, transforming into another Piercer rifle, and she then quickly lifts and fires it directly at the Servant's chest as her other rifle again splits open to cool off. This spear-shaped bolt is more damage-oriented, and while not lethal, it will hurt if it hits, especially since it has armour-piercing capabilities that should negate or counteract at least some of Shielder's Mana Defence and Resistances.

"I see."

-Shielder deftly blocks the bolt, but is surprised as it punches through her Mana Defense and directly hit her shield-

-The Servant then dashes and tries another shield bash, except this time she follows it with a series of slashes, with the intention to make it harder for the woman to dodge or counter-

Aaand I have to go again for about 30 minutes.

She again manages to narrowly avoid the shield bash, and then tries to duck and weave between the slashes, but is not entirely successful. Not only does she take a few more slashes to her now-ragged Barrier Jacket, she is also forced to block at least a couple of attacks with her Piercer rifle. Naturally, since it is not optimized or designed for this (in that form), it is damaged in the process, sparking with pink "electricity" and dented clearly beyond functionality. She frowns again.

Damn it, this has gone on too long. I have given her too many chances... but her dash ability prevents me from fighting at my preferred range, and her defences are potent...

   Recovery. Scattershot Mode.    A field of pink energy forms over the damaged Piercer rifle, visibly restoring it, although not fast enough for it to be used yet. Her other Piercer rifle once again reconfigures itself, this time into something resembling a Magitek shotgun. She dodges another couple of swipes, then brings up the Scattershot and tries to nail the Servant with it at point-blank range.

-The scattershot nails her right in the torso, but due to the combination of her resistances and her armor's... generous curves, the damage isn't severe. She does get the wind knocked out of her, though-

This isn't good. I already expended a significant amount of mana, and it seems this woman won't go down soon. If only Master is here...

-Clutching her chest, she exhales and resumes her stance. She doesn't seem to prepare an attack or anything, merely giving the woman a watchful glare-

Omega takes this chance to slip away backwards, getting some distance, and the Recovery field shatters, revealing the Piercer rifle fully restored. She points it at Shielder, and a subtly different Circle forms.

   Cluster Shot!    A different-looking bolt is fired from it, which splits into about eight shots somewhere between halfway and three-quarters of the way to Shielder, magical missiles which home in on her and try to nail her from all sides.

"Status boost. Increasing defenses."

-By invoking one of her Personal Skills, Transient Wall of Snowflakes, Shielder surrounds herself with a field of mana that further increases her defenses. Normally it's wide enough to envelope three Servants at once, but since she's alone she can concentrate the field on herself-

-Shrugging off the Cluster Shots, she leaps towards the woman with another lunging stab, followed with a series of mana-boosted slashes-
