There's speculation that the Optimus attacking Bumblebee is Nemesis Prime. Also that Unicron is the planet type entity approaching earth.
Any thoughts on that?
I was going to say "I highly doubt that's him" but then I remembered that Dark of the Moon had Sentinel Prime as the main villain.
As for Unicron, that's a possibility.

That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Nemesis Prime has rarely been an interesting concept (though occasionally a kick ass paint job) so I doubt Michael Bay will be the one to make this interesting. And Considering Nemesis Prime has been varying, widely different thing (Unmanned Drone, Evil Clone, Some previous Prime's Edgelord name) saying "It's Nemesis Prime" is really unindicative. Like, could just be Optimus deciding to go Edgelord with a new name.
As for Unicron.. .Meh. I mean they mayde the Dinobots boring by barely giving them screentime, so no big hope there either.

I'd imagine we'll just get Vagueness Is Coming, "Big scary thing" comes, Deus ex Machina saves the day.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Hey, about Optimus going to town with Bumblebee, I'll bet you guys anything that Optimus is fully aware of his situation, but is being manipulated against his will. That's totally a plausible idea, right?
However, now that it's out there, I wouldn't mind that the Optimus fighting Bee was actually Nemesis Prime. It's possible that Optimus got beat up by his makers (Quintessons?) and they came up with Nemesis Prime to have all the power of Optimus with none of the "wanting to protect the innocent" aspect. Besides, has anyone noticed the purple eyes? That has got to be Dark Energon...
Could even be Bumblebee that's been brainwashed and Optimus's stab surgery is meant to free him... somehow.
"These 'no-nonsense' solutions of yours just don't hold water in a complex world of jet-powered apes and time travel."You remind me of all the "Look at Optimus' Sword! It's gotta be the Star Saber!" from the trailer of the last movie.
Y'know, speaking of Optimus, there's something a little funny about he leaves at the end of the last movie going "I will find you"... and the next time we see him, he's just floating through space. It feels like a two-year Gilligan Cut.
Enjoying Translation Train Wrecks since 2009!Maybe that's why he's turned against everyone? He got his ass kicked and was mentally broken or something?
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Game of Thrones had a dialogue which illustrated Optimus's exact problem. To paraphrase it, it goes something like: "We went looking for them. Only one problem." "You found them."
Quintessons don't fuck around, apparently.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."Oh, they fuck around plenty:
That entire scene is pure gold though
Quitesson Judge "Execute them!"
Grimlock *Grimlock Roars and stomps* "Me Grimlock Say, Execute THEM"
*Sharkticons all look at the each other and turn on the Quintesson*
Kup: "I think the problems on this planet are about to be solved very shortly"

Wait, they declare that Decepticon innocent then kill him anyway? O.o
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.He's not a Decepticon, he's a Lithonian. And for Quintessons, "innocent" and "guilty" don't mean anything; if you get caught, you're Sharkticon food.
but HOW?Quintessons are dicks.
(V)(;,,;)(V)If you want to get technical, more like faces stuck on a floating thingamajig for the leaders, and various other stuff for the other subspecies.
but HOW?RE: Prime and Nemesis Prime note that at the stabby point of the trailer - his eyes are purple.
Does that count for anything?
Any chance of an Eric Idle cameo? I mean, i know they recycled his character's schtick for Bumblebees radio voice, but still!
Why would Nemesis Prime ask for forgiveness tho?
Was it overlaid dialogue?
Maybe He's fighting it / Unicron?

If memory serves, NEST said that they had evacuated a specific area (the chemical factory), but then the Decepticons broke the perimeter and escaped into the city.

That's what I said!
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Yeah, people are physically shown being cleared out and Lennox later says the factory had been evacuated and they've been tracking Demolisher for 8 months. Sideways being there was unexpected (it's said he basically used Demolisher as the bigger target to hide behind), and after the initial skirmish both went out of the quarantine zone and that's when Sideswipe and Optimus were called in to take them down. The fact it got out of control was an issue in the movie, leading to the claims that the Decepticons have no goal other than luring the Autobots into those fights.
There was a number of story development problems with ROTF because of the writers strike truncating production. I think the intention was for Demolisher to be outright killed in battle and Sideways was going to be cornered and drop the cryptic line about the Fallen, before trying to escape again and be killed in the process. Instead Sideways was killed without saying anything and Demolisher was incapacitated before being executed. Audi was also not ready to let them use their car for Sideways until late into production. Similarly, Jolt was a late addition and had no noticeable lines, but at least he facilitated the Jetfire Optimus upgrade.
Like somehow being able to travel from Egypt to Jordan in a day and there's somehow a border between them. Even as a kid I called bullshit on that.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
