Yeah, seems this is just about "people getting bored for any reason".
Though I think there's one example that could be reworked into a trope about "boredom is worse than anything else, even death". But maybe that just needs to be YKTTW'd from scratch.
This needs to be cut. The fact that boredom exists is People Sit On Chairs.
In fact, looking over the examples I suspect that this was specifically named after a line by Dark Willow from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so it's dialogue-y on top of everything.
You mean the Airplane! example? Interestingly it's also the page image for The Bore, though that's more about the character who could cause such a response.
In any case, yes, there's nothing worth salvaging here.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Aye, cut this.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanYeah, I thought this might be about someone being easily bored (which would be covered by Attention Deficit... Ooh, Shiny!), but this is just "boredom exists."
Cut.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I came in thinking this was something like an ADHD trope where they do something for 5 seconds then are bored. But nope, yeah back to YKTTW for this one.
Nah that is just the excitable and easily distracted aspects of ADHD, it does not cover the rest of it.

WAIT.
Rereading some of the examples, maybe this could be reworked into a trope about "a character who is always bored"? With a name change, of course. Or Do We Have That One?

Well that would be a new trope under a different name though. Cutting this and YKTTW that one would be the way to go anyway.
It would be connected to ADD and ADHD though. those who have Hyperfocus tend to have an addictive attitude and are always bored unless they have something interesting to focus on have a really bad reaction when they are bored.
Sherlock Holmes would be one, in Sherlock he actually shoots up a wall when he is bored, other Sherlock Holmes resort to drug addictions.

^ Actually, now that I think about it, isn't it already covered by The Stoic? Or is it a different trope?
The Stoic is just no or little emotion, being bored is an emotional response so it's not that.
^ Yeah, but there don't seem to be examples of that on this page. Most of the examples can be interpreted as The Stoic.
This one, as is, needs to be cut pronto. For the "always bored" character, would defining it as such be too limiting?

Adding my vote to cutting it. It's a page that seems to have come from a single example that someone tried to make a trope out of, rather than working something out from an actual trope.
Check out my fanfiction!^^ That's a good description, but are there examples for it?
UPD: Tweaked that description a bit, and launched a YKTTW.

Yeah, this is pretty terrible.
I can think of two examples: Light from Death Note and Sherlock Holmes.
Fangs of the relentless thousand^ Could you please expand on them? I'll add them to the YKKTW.
Alright, just give me a few days. (Some deadlines snuck up on me while I was busy spending my time on here).
Fangs of the relentless thousandIt appears this was improperly launched in the first place - but did we need a double-digit-post TRS thread? It could have just been cutlisted.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Well, at least we got a possible new trope (YKTTW) out of it.
Remember to attach a post to the discussion page when requesting a cut.
Accepted the cut request, now. Locking this.

This trope is unindexed, launched with 1 hat, and has exactly 1 crosswick ATM. I'm not really seeing anything here except "boredom", covering a variety of situations that are covered by tropes like The Bore, The Stoic, or non-examples.
