Eh, if the Switch keeps on selling Capcom will make games for it no matter what they're saying right now.
Monster Hunter prints money, I would think they are crazy to not want to print money on a semi-mobile system, aren't they?
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!x3 Was there any reason given why they didn't just port Street Fighter V? Any at all?
That game was funded by Sony, so no dice. It's like the Bayonetta 2 situation with Nintendo.

Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI guess France is going to save the Switch.
Street Fighter II isn't going to determine whether or not Monster Hunter is coming to the system. Nintendo didn't increase the RAM for them for nothing. Might determine how many overpriced ports they will sell though. Capcom is dumb, but they're not that dumb.
Okay, they are that dumb, but they really need that easy Monster Hunter money.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.x2 Valid if annoying.
Hey guy, remember when Capcom said that the sales of the Mega Man Legends 3 demo would determine whether or not they go ahead with the full game?
*cries*
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That was a dick move, but I'm sure it was somehow Inafune's fault as well.
One Strip! One Strip!"It's better than nothing."
It was literally nothing!
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! That's why both sides are awful.
Capcom for being Capcom, and Inafune for creating Mighty No. 9.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."That statement from Capcom was mistranslated by Neogaf and a revised translation was made.
Something along the lines of "As for the Switch, in May we will release USF 2 and we will plan our support while looking at the situation [of the platform]."
It would be exceptionally naive to expect great sales from such a lazy port.
But Hadouken Mode! You can live out one of your greatest nerd fantasies!
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Given the reused assets from HD Remix, isn't this version of Street Fighter II basically an enhanced remake of an enhanced remake? And said original enhanced remake is nearly 10 years old and one quarter of the price. The sad thing is I'd probably bite the bullet if it was in the $20-25 range, but $40 is just exorbitant.
Capcom has never really been all that smart of a company, it seems.

Best Buy, Target stocks surge due to sales of the Switch increasing their profits.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."They're an old dog who can't learn new tricks. They learned, back in the eighties and nineties, that endless nigh-identical copies of games would get them plenty of sales, so why bother with innovation? They never unlearned that lesson.
To be fair, SFII has aged incredibly well and I would still consider it one of the greatest fighting games of all time easily. I'm not really questioning this version's existence since it's not like there are any other versions you can play on the Switch, and it seems like it's a good package that's well suited for the hardware. What I am questioning is why Capcom is treating another rerelease of an over two decade old game as a flagship title worthy of almost full retail price. If they wanted a premium-priced Street Fighter game on the system and couldn't get SFV because of the exclusivity, couldn't they have at least ported IV? We had a version of that as a 3DS launch title for crying out loud, and $40 for Ultra SFIV on Switch even without any major upgrades would be far more reasonable.
I can buy Ultra for $20 and I don't even need a current gen console.
Where there's life, there's hope.Is Disgaea 5 worth 59.99? I enjoyed the first one but the third one was eh.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I think it is but I really love Tactical RPGs (or are they Strategic RPGs?) and the game's presentation was just lovely.
That and I was instantly sold when I tried out the demo on the PS 4 and I saw (and heard) that OP.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Speaking of Capcom, Monster Hunter XX is coming to Switch. And so it begins.

A new page for a new discussion.
Are you concerned about how Capcom's Disney Afternoon Collection isn't on the Switch even though it's made up of 6 games originally made for the NES?
Do you wish Capcom had more to offer for the Switch than just Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers?
Then the following article should pique your interest because apparently Capcom will determine just how much support for the Switch is worth the energy and resources by seeing how well Ultra Street Fighter II performs.
...Suddenly that unnecessary port of SFII doesn't seem so unnecessary, huh?
