Poor Image: Expressive Accessory

It's not a terrible image, but it's artifacted and the expression on the accessory is kinda hard to see. Plus, in the second panel her brooch is visible, and it's NOT an Expressive Accessory, which I think sort of confuses the issue.

I suggest replacing it with this collage of Moe the Clown from the Ace Attorney series:

Flip a coin for me...while I did have to look for a sec to see that the headband was changing in the current, I was so drawn to the carrot and the clothes in the suggestion that I didn't realize at first what was changing.

It's an improvement. More distracting, but it's at least clearly visible.

The suggestion is better. Moe's weird mouth hat thing is certainly more expressive.

I think it should have a caption that calls attention to the mouth hat thing, even if it's merely mentioned.

Though it feels more like "feature of costume that matches mouth exactly" than "accessory", if that makes sense. It is better than current, but not great.

That one also has a lot of distracting elements, I'm afraid. It also doesn't help that the eyes on the hat are way off in the corner in the second image.

Agreed; good for Image Links but not so good as the page pic.

No frickin clue what's going on there.

Yeah, I don't get 7 at all.

OP suggestion is the best so far.

Don't notice the hat? Maybe these would be better.

Personally, I prefer the current over the suggestion because the current uses a full-face expression while the suggestion has only a mouth.

Another point is, I initially thought that the suggestion showed some kind of strange alien clown with a second mouth, not that the mouth was part of an accessory he was wearing.

A third but minor point is that the "sad" expression is needlessly repeated.

I could live with the suggestion, but I can't see a pressing need to replace the current with the suggestion.

I think the OP suggestion works fine with just the 2nd and 3rd panels, if you think it's too much.

Sad is not there twice. The first picture is Neutral (With a serious case of bitchy resting face). The last one is actually sad.

Maybe another expression would help resolve some of your issues (I don't have the court background to actually paste him in, but that could be fixed later)

I think Wade's inner tube goes a bit beyond just being "expressive"...but if that's not a concern, it certainly shows the expressions well enough.

That's a joke, silly. He has been seen without it before◊ .
