Ok 20 and 22 have 7, still I think they need more.
It's a pic of Top Girls cast (ETA: note to self: write a work page for this awesome play ).
There are more women in the cast, I think about fifteen. It just happens thet the pic is from Act One, and the actresses are usually double-casted as other women in other acts of the play. There really are no guy roles.
ETA: What I'm trying to say this play is as good as we're gonna get, methinks. In my opinion, an example from live-action media works much better than the ensamble cast from the suggested anime. Not that it's bad, but the pic is really crowded. It's hard to "digest" all the people in it in one go and process that they are all women. Works better with less characters.

How about the cast of 8 Women? Like 12 Angry Men, the name alone tells you it has Chromosome Casting: there are no speaking roles besides the eponymous eight women. Here are some pics of the cast:
Those are good contenders as well.
These are awesome. I hardly know which I like best.
Maybe the first? It's closest to the 12 Angry Men shot in terms of composition.
29.1 and 29.3 going with 12 Angry Men.

I lean toward the first arrangement.
I prefer the first arrangement, as well.
So, are these both going to be at the top of the page, or are we going to attach them to the two sections of the page?
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I'd say put them in the two sections.
The first one, definitely.
I lean towards putting them both at the top of the page.
I actually prefer the second arrangement, given how both images has them all looking at the camera.
Moon◊for the second one.
For that reason I prefer the first, because the guys aren't looking at the camera the way I see it.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, if I remember the movie correctly, in that scene the 11 men in the pic are all all looking at the 12th juror who's said something shocking.
I prefer the first arrangement too... It only shows 7 of the 8 women, but it's an actual shot from the movie, and them all gathering like that suggests that this is pretty much the whole cast of movie. The second shot of the women, where they're standing on the stairs, is a publicity shot, and it has the same problem as one of the earlier: you could interpret as showing only the female cast of the movie, which is sometimes done with publicity photos like this.

I'd prefer the non-posed shots (29.1).

I like the second one (29.2) better for the same reasons mentioned in @38
But they aren't all looking at the camera.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm sort of surprised nobody's suggested placing the 12 Angry Men picture and 29.1 horizonitally; that should make for an interesting Mirrored Confrontation Shot.
That would end up being either a)WAY to wide or b)shrunk down excessively.
Exactly; good idea but the wiki's limitations would make the final result pretty bad.
Bumping. This was almost done, and then it got off the IP radar. There are many great suggestions, and I think I would be satisfied with any combination of the top choices (male from Angry 12, female from either of the plays suggested).
Seconding Zeffyr's and Willbyr's take on a mirror image — it is a neat idea, but the wiki image format is not good for carrying it out.

I prefer the (posed) shot in 29.3 over 29.1, as the former very clearly shows the cast to be a household comprised solely of women; from matriarch to hired help.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
But there are way more than six women in those pics.
