Goddamn. There's been so much death recently... How depressing.
I can only say that he was a great actor and had a genuinely fine singing voice (despite what people may think).
"They say I'm old fashioned, and live in the past, but sometimes I think progress progresses too fast."Man, Monty Oum a few weeks ago, then the Parks and Rec guy, now Spock...The Great Celebrity Die-off came early this year.
Live long and prosper, good sir.
I'll play Civilization IV in his honor.

It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.Damn, just reading that article is depressing me right now. Live long and prosper, Leonard.
Together, we are one.Goodbye Mr. Nimoy.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.FUCKIT, I can't find the video ID for a clip of Spock's funeral scene from Wrath of Khan.

THERE. YES.
Mister Nimoy, you did live long and with great prosperity. You will never be forgotten.
Not a Star Trek fan, but I (temporarily) changed my avatar as a sign of respect.

Man, all these great actors passing away one after the other....
I feel really depressed.
RIP. What a great life.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiRest in peace, mister Nimoy. You were more than just Spock.
The other day on a whim I finally watched Atlantis The Lost Empire, in which Leonard Nimoy's character dies after being punched in the chest. Talk about Harsher in Hindsight.
At least the mantle of Spock has been passed on.
Fringe had his character suffer from cancer and deseprately try to fight off death, as well.

"All you Fascists bound to lose."The FX channel (in the U.S.) has started playing the recent Star Trek reboot as a matinee. No official or after-credits mourning his passing, but I'd venture a guess that's their intention.

I visited the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles and they had a small memorial for him. He and his wife helped fund the massive refurbishing of the facility and he hosts a movie on the observatory's history in a theater named for him.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984
He is, and he will always be...our friend.
God damn this is the saddest thing I've heard this week.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."
