IIRC, it generally recoiled like a regular gun.

Unless Frank already knew and was just asking the question for the sake of the joke (which is entirely possible), then probably nil. If he didn't know it was supposed to recoil like that, then it probably won't in this season at least. The animation's already done.

Speaking of Darkwing Duck Details, I always liked Launchpad calling him DW even though it's actually longer than just saying Darkwing. Other than being a cute nickname and reminder that Launchpad is dim, it sounds like deliberate comic book reference. You know how calling Wonder Girl "W. G." sounds right in comics where you want to reduce the size of speech balloons, and yet it's not actually a world that any sober person would actually say out loud? Then I guess nevermind.

It isn't because he is dumb, its just his Verbal Tic. Note he calls Scrooge Mr. Mc D, too.
Optimism is a duty.Don't forget about the awesome line in the theme song,
"when there's trouble you call DW!"

He's The Nicknamer. IIRC he had ones for Gosalyn and Honker too. I don't think he did it with the kids in Ducktales, unless he had one with Doofus.
On that note, I wish Launchpad and Donald would interact more in this series. I feel like they would have fun conversations.

Optimism is a duty. What would a conversation between Donald and Launchpad even look like you think?
Donald keeps throwing shade his way and Launchpad never even notices. :P
And then they'd probably reach some sort of friendly understanding.

Interaction between Pad and Donald is something I've been looking forward to. Considering the set up of OG Ducktales, they never really had a chance to do so.
That being said, I'm wondering if they are still having difficulties with making them distinct. Despite being very different characters, Donald and Launchpad do more or less fill the same roll, and that might be hard to reconcile.
One Strip! One Strip! They seem to go the route of keeping Donald roughly the same, while dumbing down Pad to an extreme extent.
Optimism is a duty. The same could probably be said about Fenton, which is probably why they are making him Gyro's intern this time 'round.

I don't think Launchpad is too much stupider than he was in the old days. It's more that in 2017 the "spacey assistant" part of his characterization is the chief part of him this time. Either way he and Don are pretty distinct.

Or if anyone wants to just see the 3 major scenes in Gif form.

If we are going with the idea that Duckburg is San Francisco, this is probably all the kids first time seeing actual snow, now that I think about it.
Frank Angones is awesome! DonaldxTurkey for the win!
In other news, issue #3 of the comics is out. I just read it today, and it was fun, but still had a lot of the same issues that issue 2 did.
Finally, a trailer for The Impossible Summit of Mt. Neverrest!

Louie is somehow just hilarious being lazy. It has to do with being identifiable. Most people would never want to climb to the top of Mt. Everest!
What's Scrooge's motivation for wanting to climb the mountain? Adventure or no adventure, it'd be a bit out of character for him to do something like that without even the pretense of profit.
Scrooge McDuck is climbing a mountain, why is he climbing a mountain?

Fresh-eyed movie blogClearly there's treasure on the mountain somewhere
New theme music also a boxMaybe he wants to hide his money there.

It doesn't look like it here, but I'm not sure how consistant it was, because this is the one clip of Darkwing firing his gas gun I could find on Youtube.
