(what to expect from Gakkou Gurashi)
Existential horror in a zombie apocalypse, and the effects on the mind of four damaged young girls. If you're like me, you'll see Yuki's damage as a very much welcome moment of respite in what's, basically, The Walking Dead with even fewer living people around.

Caught up on the 4 episodes…
Welp, this series officially has the most depressing cheerful opening ever. But you're right, Yuki moments are a breath of fresh air − though depressing in their own way. You could say she was at least lucky enough to lose her sanity…
Is the manga over, by the way?

No, it's ongoing. It HAS a good stopping point though (chapter 31).
Charlotte Ep 5. Rise of the Midorikawa!
Edit: Ha ha ha ha ha, I got so pissed at Ranpo Kitan! because it was a crap mystery, and now Rokka no Yuusha is bringing up Locked Room mysteries.
Let's see. Without having read the L Ns, my first suspicion would be that the crime (eg activating the barrier) was committed right after the door was opened; that is, the culprit was already inside the temple, and had closed the door (created the door for the first time, perhaps?) from the inside. Using the distraction of the guards, it'd be a simple matter of exiting the temple and then re-entering later on.
I guess I'll have to wait until next week to see if my hairbrained guess was right or not. Umineko had me thinking a lot about locked room mysteries, so my thought process on the issue has changed.

You guys do realize that most of these shows have threads?
You don't watch Ranpo for the mystery at this point.
Which is good that Rokka does a good job.
My personal guess is that Adlet got duped into triggering the fog barrier by opening the door in the first place, which could mean the soldier was wrong/lying about the activation or Humpty is incorrect/lying.
We're here because the shows aren't worth having their own threads!!!
Obviously, I'm talking about the Summer 2015 shows, not Umineko (which, well, the anime was terrible, but I digress)
So while funny on its own, Sore ga Seiyu is apparently a reference goldmine, mostly for those who're into following the VA industry, but also gems like this:
Yeah, I try to follow things like that, but it's just way more info than I'm familiar with.
I wanted Yui Horie to say nano desu.
This week's Pillow Boy was so sweet~
The bus guy? Yeah, I liked him.
Okusama ga Seitokaichou! manages to be pretty funny and heartwarming in addition to all the smut, and I like that they are honest about the fact that if two teenagers in love start living together it won't take long before they'll start doing this and that, but doesn't make a big deal out of it and presents it as healthy and natural.
The censorship in the censored version is really really bad though. Like, I normally watch the uncensored version because of course! but I watched the censored version here, and rather than, you know, censor steam and stuff, they just give you these weirdo little shorts. Which means I had no idea what was going on for like, half the episode.
It's super weird.
I wasn't even aware that there was a censored version, I was just surprised they showed nipples and stuff.
It's these things called Wife Theater where it's styled as paper cutouts on popsicle sticks.
It's as weird as it sounds.
That sounds like a really weird decision. did they run out of steam, or what?
Also, I decided to drop Chaos Dragon completely. It's just so bad.
One of the things that I dislike about Okusama Ga Seitokacho! is that the fact that Rekka Katakiri is singing its opening. Of all anime, why she was chosen to sing for that? She deserve a better anime for her to sing for.
Venus Project -Climax- is failing at being both idol and mecha anime at the same time. At least the concept is very cool and I like their facial designs.

Venus Project is about mecha? Is it even anime? (no, it isn't).

Watching Wakaba-chan. Totes moe, Wakaba's too adorable. I also really like the OP.

Technically, I am speaking about the anime half of Venus Project, in which the other half is idol variety show pitting the anime's voice actors against the game's voice actors. In the anime, the singers have mecha avatars which battles while they are singing.
Oh god, that OP is great!
In other news, episode 5 of Bikini Warriors was just too real. Anyone who ever played an RPG can understand the suffering.
Yeah, consumables are usually worth the cost, but there's a mental block against it.
You wanna keep a few elixirs around because they're really good in a jam, but you always end up just sort of accidentally hording them.
Course, I rarely run into money problems in games, so I have no real NEED to sell them ...
Charlotte episode 6. Wherein Imouto dies.
Really guys, this is Jun Maeda. We should expect this.

Unmarked spoilers, man! Unmarked spoilers!
SIGH. But I didn't even know it was out.
Edit: Spoilers for other shows (that I still haven't gotten around to watching) aside, watching Rokka no Yuusha with the "WELL THEN HOW DID THEY SET UP THE BARRIER?" stuff, I was half expecting Umineko's Red Text to be shouted out.
Still think it was a case of "someone was inside the temple when the seal was initially forged," but it looks like there's more to it than that.

I wonder, would it have been better if the guys had taken a page from the Mc Elroy clan and recorded their sessions and released them?
