Why would you get new info on Kingdom Hearts III from Sony? It's Square, and it's multiplatform PS4/XOne.
Probably meant at Sony's conference. The game is multiplat but the entire console fan base for it are on Sony's systems since none of the other games are on Xbox(much like how the MGS fan base is huge on Sony's side and tiny on the Xbox side). I'm expecting something like at E3 2013 with KH 3 trailers.
Reminder that Xbox is as good as dead in Japan so japanese developers are more likely to try to get in tight with Sony than with MS at events like these.

Gee, wasn't that the case with Grand Theft Auto til someone showed off a GTA tattoo? And you could say the same thing about Final Fantasy being Nintendo's.

Last mainline FF game on a Nintendo console was VI back in 1994 which was also for Sony. Square Enix makes only spin offs for Nintendo consoles now which is why I mentioned that Bravely Second would be at Nintendo's stream rather than with Sony.
Also, what do you mean with the GTA tattoo?

Also, wasn't Kingdom Hearts Nintendo-led too? You'd be shocked how fast these things can change.
So these are less "predictions" and more "things that are almost guaranteed to show up"
- Forza Motorsport 6
- Halo 5
- Whatever Phil Schiller was hiding Rare was working on, thought it's probably only gonna be a teaser trailer
- Battlefront 3
- The new Mirror's Edge
- Doom 4
- Dishorned 2
- OK so this one isn't actually "almost guaranteed" but perhaps Bethesda will unveil id Tech 6. See, I wouldn't normally consider this since John Carmack said id Tech 5 was gonna stay around for at least 5 or 6 years but now that Bethesda's pretty much burnt all their bridges between Carmack/Luckey/Zuckerberg, I can't help but think Bethesda would be quicker than usual in making a new engine to try and discard what Carmack did before.
Kingdom Hearts started as a Playstation exclusive before going back and forth between Playstation and Nintendo, but it seems to have settled on Playstation as of the HD collections. Kingdom Hearts 3 may be multi-platform, but Square confirmed that there were no plans for the HD collections to be ported to Xbox so Xbox owners could catch up. To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if the X Bone version of Kingdom Hearts 3 was cancelled because I don't see the Xbox version selling much at all compared to the PS 4 version, and because of PS 4's current lead over X Bone in sales, the multi-platform release isn't quite as necessary this gen as it was last gen, when Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 were dead even in terms of sales.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierKingdom Hearts was most definitely a PS 2 exclusive franchise at first. I have the first two sitting in my game/dvd/blu-ray rack to prove it. They went multi-format when Squeenix made friends with Nintendo again, but that took years.
Remember that Chain of Memories was released in-between KH and KH 2.
It's likely more of the fact that Japan likes handhelds so inbetween games on them would still do well. A headache for anyone who is a Sony fanboy over here.
Before the HD remakes came out Sony and Nintendo had an equal number of games for their systems. Up until then I think both sides had a pretty good claim on the franchise.
Remember that Kingdom Hearts is an Unreal Engine 4 game, so for what it's worth they can basically get it running on the Xbone without having to really so a ton of work since the engine is already multiplatform out of the box. Square probably wouldn't even bother since the audience there is so low but for what it's worth it'd be fairly cheap for them to do a port to Xbone and the PC if they feel it's economically worth it to them.
Missing the point.
They revealed the game at the Play Station conference. It's stands to decent reason that, given the history of the mainline titles being on Play Station platforms (and now, just about every title sans that last DS one), they'd continue advertising with Play Station at the forefront.
That said, they might just focus on Final Fantasy XV and put KHIII off to a later time.
this place needs me hereSo things that have happened since the last bump:
- Square Enix has their own conference at E3 this year because they have a ton of games and have gone positive for the last few years and have some money to spare. They'll even have a Distant Worlds concert!
- Hideo Kojima is probably not going to show up but MGSV is probably still going to.

I don't know how much trouble it's worth since it's mentioned literally every year, but the usual suspects in the Need for Speed fanbase are claiming that Need for Speed Underground 3 is coming again.
Well, it's probably less likely than Need for Speed Rivals: We Fucked Up Edition.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotGot my Bethesda invite, which SHOULD mean Fallout 4.
I have to wonder, how many are going to go Nintendo's route and have it mainly be a digital conference? Obviously, Bethesda's isn't going that route, but what about the others?
Nintendo's not doing it because they want to. They can't afford it anymore.
You got a souce for that? Because if there is anything Nintendo has, it's money.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyThat's number one. There's other stuff, too, but I don't have the time.
Nintendo has the money to do a live conference if they want. They just choose not to due to a preference for Directs, which happens to save them money. The Smash tournament last year probably filled the live conference roll as far as budget is concerned anyway.
So we've got seven presentations this year. Nice. Hopefully this lets Sony and Microsoft focus more on their own games.
Isn't that year old article anyway?
I really liked Nintendo's continually-rolling online offerings last year. I wonder if more will do thaht.
I have a message from another time...I think Sony and Microsoft should at least. Live streaming of games was one of the best ideas in years.
Expectations:
I actually doesn't know if Square Enix are going to do their stream again this year but I hope so.
