That depends on how extreme an opposite and what type of opposite. If he's a huge Jerkass, I'd probably deck him. If he's the Ax-Crazy killer type, or the Omnicidal Maniac, I'd grab the nearest thing I can defend myself with. If he's the Keet type, I'd welcome him with open arms.

If it contained the actual ghosts from Luigi's Mansion, I would actually be excited. I love LM, and I would jump at the chance to experience it in real life.
But if these were genuinely terrifying ghosts, like something out of a horror movie, then I would be scared. Maybe the LM world has a cartoony filter over it to protect the player from seeing how scary the ghosts really are, which would justify Luigi's fear of them?
