Poor Image: Child Eater

There are many flaws with this trope's current picture. For one thing, it has very low image quality and bad color saturation to the point where it's hard to distinguish what is going on. Also, while there are children in it, they aren't being eaten in the picture. A tall, white humanoid is just holding one of them up by its leg. Might I suggest we transfer the picture from I'm a Humanitarian to this page?

You didn't put in a link to the page in question, so no one will know which trope you're talking about.

[up] Good point. I meant that this picture should be moved to Child Eater.

[up]But we were discussing the picture for Child Eater.

Yeah, you didn't specify which trope you were talking about, so I went with a guess. Fixed the tag again.

[tup] for the transfer. We would then need a new image for I'm a Humanitarian.

Wow, that pic's quality is bad...+1 to make the move. GIS turns up several potentially good replacements for I'm a Humanitarian from Attack on Titan...1, 2, 3, 4, 5

I think the suggested image have way too much overlap with Eats Babies. Child Eater is talking about someone that specifically targets children to sustain themselves, while Eats Babies seem to be more of a one-off thing someone does when they're feeling particularly villainous.

Maybe if we put @3 in Eats Babies and move the image of that page to Child Eater, it might work better...

I'm unsure which trope the baby-eating image is better on, but it's better on both other tropes.

Though the question would rather fit the trope repair shop thread, aren't this trope a bit redundant with Eats Babies?

Yaay for Greek Mythology. Fair warning, these are kinda graphic, despite of being artistic masterpieces and cornerstones.

I think 12.1 is probably the best balance between clearly illustrating the trope and limiting the amount of gore.

It seems to me that 12.2 is unnecessarily gory and 12.3 isn't clear that the intent is eating. In 12.1, you can easily see that the child is being eaten but the picture doesn't go overboard with the gore.

I like 12.1, though I still think the current image of I Am a Humanitarian should go to Eats Babies instead.

I like the image on Eats Babies; it looks villainous.

[up]The current image is certainly good, but I think the image from I'm a Humanitarian has a slight edge over it.

That being said, I wouldn't object to the images on I'm a Humanitarian and Eats Babies remaining as-is since they both do an adequate (albeit not ideal) job of illustrating the tropes.

I suggested the move because the image of Eats Babies looks too much like Child Eater, and the names are similar enough to promote more confusion between the two definitions.
