NOTE - Report bugs along with your browser/version, operating system/version, and device. There are thousands of these combinations, and most bugs right now only affect certain combinations.
Tropers - As you are probably well aware by now, we've made a ton of changes to TV Tropes. Although most of the changes you see are primarily cosmetic, we are also part way through a complete overhaul of the backend code. With so many changes under the hood, it is entirely possible we broke a few things. If you find something that does not appear to be working correctly, this is the place to report it.
Please note, this thread is for BUGS only! If you have an idea, wish, or anything to say that is not related to a bug, please do not post it here. Those things can all be posted and discussed on other threads in Wiki Talk or the Tech Wishlist.
The more information you can provide about the bug (e.g., browser, operating system, etc.) and how to re-create it, the more likely we will be able to squash it.
Happy Troping!
EDIT: Here are some things that have been reported:
- Login issues
- Logins not sticking between devices
- Some people are still having issues with dropped logins.
- You can't log in if your username contains a space. Remove the space.
- Javascript: Your device must be able to run Javascript from tvtropes.org, static.tvtropes.org, ajax.googleapis.com, and netdna.bootstrapcdn.com. If you are blocking any of these, lots of things won't work, like editing pages.

So I heard most of the work on the site is going towards setting up the next version, but thought I'd let you guys know when I went to check TVT pms from my smartphone the link in the navigation menu/dropdown thing went to my forum watchlist instead. Double checked to make sure I wasn't just pushing the wrong one on accident due to touch screen, but both the 'watch list' and 'messages' buttons had the same URL.
Dunno if this is the right place to mention it or not.
I'm also having folder issues, this time with Sonic Boom. My browser is firefox and my version is the latest one. In my case after editing, and doing nothing to the folders themselves, the folders just stopped working altogether and upon comparing the folders to another page, there was nothing wrong with how they were presented and all attempts failed when looking at the preview.
There is one giant folder there that needs to be split.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWell season 1 does have almost 40 episodes at this point, but I checked all the folders, none are merged. So do I need to split that one then? Has the page simply broken down due to size and I accidently tipped it over with my edit?
It worked! I split The TV Show's folder in half and it works fine now. Thank you for your advice sir. I'm sorry for the inconvience.
Are pictures not appearing for anyone else?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Every image linked to another page appears blank to me. Any other image is fine.
This bug appeared to me 7 hours ago. I'm using Chrome and Windows 7 if that helps.

I also can't see photos on Chrome (Windows 8). I can see them fine on Firefox, so it might be an issue with a recent update of Chrome.
Not sure if this is some cause of alarm due to a bug, but I get an error that says a server error is the cause that I can't upload an image.
I'm getting that, too.
Same here. I get an error saying 'error updating remote server' when I try to upload an image.
Running a desktop with Windows 7, Browser is Chrome version 44.0.2403.157.
Same thing and already tried with both Chrome and Firefox to no avail.
Ditto on image uploader problems as well.
Used all major browsers, cleared all cookies and still getting the "error updating remote server" message.
Somehow, only the trope pages are affected. I checked the work pages and they are alright.
Why is the world full of nonsense? This bug appeared to me 7 hours ago. I'm using Chrome and Windows 7 if that helps.
I should add that images work fine on mobile.
I also cannot see any pictures, But it might be my silly Windows-Vista-Using laptop than anything.
If it helps, I am also using Chrome.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! Not sure if this is occurring for everyone else...
But I'm suddenly getting a weird page-layout regarding images that are placed along the left-margin. A left-margin image isn't allowing for text to squeeze into the empty space to the right of the image, so it would just leave a huge empty space. Writing text after placing the image will only appear above or below the image depending on which side you wrote the text on.
In addition, if there's a captain beneath the left-margin image, it actually pushes the image next to it; forcing the image to appear in the middle of the page which makes it look even more messed up.
The Fairy Tail – Other Fairy Tail Members page is an example of what I'm talking about.

RLLOccasionally while on mobile (my dad's iPad 2, Safari) trope or thread names in the tab title will have the first word omitted.
I think that's a problem related to how they put the images, I'm working on fixing it.
EDIT: Done. Better now?

Hooray, the click-through'd article images are working again for me!
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Whenever you see that happen simply put the good old:
[[quoteright:(Width of the image):Image itself.]]
[[caption-width-right:(Width of the image):Witty caption.]]
We should really start a purge of pages that simply have a link to the image instead of format.
Also, tagged images and image uploading works for me. Hurray!

on the DMC Devil May Cry character sheet, the voice actor bar is covering the character image.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for you
That happens when the connection to static.tvtropes.org drops, either on your end or ours.
