And to everybody else, I'll introduce myself. I'm a Yugioh player who dropped out around the 5d's era due to lack of money and people to play with, but got back in during Arc-V, which is my favorite series just for using all the different Extra deck methods. In fact, I play an Odd-Eyes Magician deck just because of all the different forms Odd-Eyes had. Would have played D/D/Ds if it wasn't too focused on remembering combos, and Konami didn't screw it over by releasing the structure deck late.
On that note, about how many people here play the game, and at what level?

Red Eyes is getting new support in the Legend Duelist set with cards that reference Joey's other cards (Red Eyes Baby Dragon, Red Eyes Gearfried, etc.). Doubt there will be a Katsuya-man though.
Especially since Red-Eyes already has a Kaibaman equivalent in Red-Eyes Black Chick (IIRC the name was changed. Can't remember at the moment).

It's short for brother complex. Basically, it means someone adores their brother to the point it wouldn't be weird find a doujin of them f***ing him. At the very least, expect incest jokes to surround such characters.

Considering Akira's profile essentially I'm expecting Aoi's character arc to essentially be a less melodramatic, superpower-fueled version of Aki's.
Also, VRAINS in general is really sounding more and more like a Yu-Gi-Oh! version of Mega Man Battle Network to me with each passing piece of info I read, just with Star Force's main cast.

I guess they wanted to be different from Arc V. Come to think of it, if the rumours that Japanese fans didn't care much for Arc V is true, I'm guessing we won't be seeing much out of a Pendulum summoning for a while now. Kinda like how Zexal flat out ignored Synchro Summoning and 5D's (I recall an early episode where there were a bunch of old monsters: we saw Dark Magician and Elemental Hero Neos, but there was no sign of any 5D's monsters at all).

Yep, mechanic shilling indeed. Synchros were put on moratorium for about a year in the real life card game, but ZEXAL was set up IIRC as an AC type deal, so they were benched (aside from one rival in the spinoff manga) until Arc-V. (Pendulums were simple enough for both Xyz and Synchro to come back and co-exist.) Link Monsters are sort of similar in that they are reliant on the materials, and they also affect the playing field, so I imagine something similar as with ZEXAL.

You know, it would have been interesting to see someone who, despite being a massive asshole (as is the case with all of Atem's targets) actually played the game fairly and even won.
Thus Atem would be forced to acknowledge them, even if he disliked their actions.
