Oh well, I'm getting a Steam level out of this, so that's good. Cards are probably going to rise in price though...

He wasn't a wrestler. He was a bodybuilder from way back when Vince ran the WBF, sort of a bodybuilders' version of the WWF at the time. It was cheesy as fuck and also hilarious when you listen to Vince commentary on it.

No clue, but bids are averaging in the tens of thousands (if not hundreds of thousands by the time the bid ends) and 1000 gems are nearly a dollar on the Steam Market.

Do the math and 25,000 gems comes up at being around $25.

Don't know about you guys, but I'm skipping this sale in favor of watching the Daily Deals like a hawk.

most profitable thing to do is to collect gems and sell them (since they are in demand). when the sale comes and everything is much cheaper you'll be able to get one even cheaper thanks to your steam wallet.

they're going up in value so it might be prudent to way a bit.

Problem is that you need at least 1000 gems before you can sell them. There's not an easy way to get that many unless you want to spend $$. In which case you might as well just get the actual games...

well, as someone with 149 games, a good number of them unplayed as of yet, ive got a good number of cards available for gem conversion.

the main problem is the ramdom "3 gem" value thing, where they're somehow worth less in gems than in pounds.

im nearing around 3000 gems, which gives me 3 sacks, which to be fair, is a satisfactory bonus to whatever discount games get during the sale.

I want the Metro Redux pack as part of the sale. I don't have the cash this week to chuck at the weeklong deal sale because my bank screwed me with a charge.

im so confused as to why metro 1 and 2 got remade...

Dunno but the new ones are so damn pretty it hurts.

At the moment, I'm going all-in on a not-so-frequented lot, and I'm #33 with just over 4000 gems (after mostly clearing my communitystuffs [keeping my Heavy and Axton backgrounds as well as the Wololo emoticon though]). Trying to see if this works, although the lengths one goes for the number of gems they put down, it's insane.
